This is a good video. My brother was in the Peace Corps and did a project here with beekeeping and honey production. We love Kyrgyzstan because of my brother. You are good narrators. Thank you!
Thank you )))) We are always glad to see tourists like you. And I hope after this video at least more than 50 000 people will know about Our beautifull country some of them will visit because of you! Thanks a lot!!!
This is such a great video-- even more useful bc of how little info there is!! Kyrgyzstan is my dream destination of mine, and I'm crossing my fingers that I'll be able to get to the world nomad games in 2018! :)
Wonderful Video and great introduction of Kyrgyzstan, I haven't seen much more than Bishkek and Ala-archa during freezing winter. Thanks so much for giving me good ideas what to do next time. ...and yes, renting an Appartment is truely nicer, cheaper, and what they say, safer than Hotels.
Thank you! Even though we did quite a bit I feel like we barely scratched the surface. I hope we can go back again soon as well. The apartment stay was one of the best decisions we made for sure. Highly recommend doing that.
+Nomadic Samuel - Travel Channel I live and work in Moscow, I am Kyrgyz Man, Your videos Very Excellent. Ma Land Naryn City, you visit my town Naryn?? In Naryn have Kyrgyz Delishes " Besh Barmak"" in inglish "Five fingers" .
I bet you'd get a million views if you made a compilation of you two eating strange things from around the world. I bet you could take videos from over twenty countries you've already visited to make: The most EPIC travel video ever!
Great video, I really enjoyed it. I've seen other blog type travel vids before but most of the time the travelers come off as snotty, obnoxious and/or pretentious and you two were absolutely not that at all, so kudos to you both. In fact, this was very fun to watch. Kyrgyzstan is a country that I have dreamt about visiting for years now (along with all the other Stan countries), and who knows, maybe even work there for some time (I teach ESL). Anways, greetings from a Yankee in Argentina!
Thank you very much! We'd highly recommend traveling to Kyrgyzstan and it certainly has wetted our appetite to see more of Central Asia as well. Hope you're enjoying being in Argentina. It is a country we're keen to revisit again soon.
Great video as always guys! I am planning a trip through Eurasia this summer and will spend about two weeks in Kyrgyzstan. I've been doing a lot of research, but wanted to see how things were for you guys. As of now, I am planning to visit Bishkek, Issyk Kul lake and Ala Archa National park. Do you guys have any other suggestions of places to see? I will be flying into Almaty Kazakhstan and planning to enter Kyrgyztan by land from there. I was wondering how the boarder crossing was and if you guys took the same route into the country? Any additional info on your expereince would be awesome! ^^
That is super cool to hear! We ended up flying there so I'm not sure about the overland crossings. I would recommend checking out our friends blog Nomadasaurus as they've traveled more extensively in Kyrgyzstan and written a lot of articles are about in the past. Your itinerary sounds really good. Definitely make lots of time for outdoors activities (hiking, trekking, horse-riding, etc) if that tickles your fancy because what is on offer in Kyrgyzstan is incredible.
Awesome! I am all about out door activities! That's part of the reason I moved to Jeju Island haha. Thank you so much for your suggestions. I will check out your friends blogs about Kyrgyzstan as soon as I can. ^^
hello your trip looks great we will be there in august... could you say what restaurant in bishkek was it where you had the big fist? it looked good..thanks

Thanks! It would be really cold during that time of year. For hiking and outdoor activities I would suggest warmer summer months or late spring / early autumn.
The views are amazing and the water is so clear and pristine! Central Asia is still an extremely alien part of the world to me and is so under-the-radar but it seems like an excellent place to escape from the rest of the world. Kyrgyzstan is actually not that cold compared to Kazakhstan, Mongolia, Siberia or even Northern China.
Thank you! It sure was a great adventure for us. It really is an off-the-beaten-path destination but fascinating for those who visit. We loved our time there! Oh gosh, it must be freezing in those countries. It would be best to visit in the summer I'd imagine ;)
