Unlike your Turkmenistan documentary this one is made beautifully. It's truly a magnificent country with amazing people. I wish well for kyrgyz people.
Just came back from a 2 week trip. Very poor people with golden hearts. Never i felt neglected or even threatened. I wish them economic growth, it is good they are turning to tourism it has great potential. The climate is very brutal, hot, dusty, smogy. Health facilities are very bad and extremely outdated. Feel very sorry for the locals, most kind and helpful people ive met, wish them all the best in the future.
Once you make the choice to quit drinking, everything becomes possible again. It's the best decision I ever made for myself. You can do it too if you think you need to. ✌ Beautiful country, Kyrgyzstan, land of so many Empires, so much culture!
This wonderful Culture can not be allowed to die out. The World Bank needs to step up and allow these People to live in dignity. Amazing people! I would love to live there and help these People! May the light of abundance shine down on them.
maybe they r poor but they r happy and positive.. I just found out this country is with beautiful and amazing mountains and landscape.. I wish you good luck and good health.
Its funny because when you ask the locals there , they all loved it in USSR and wish they could go back. Before russia these people didnt know anything but steppes and horses so they also gave them a lot.
This is what happens to a people, that are one hundred percent dependent on and whose lives have been completely controlled by the government, the USSR, and are then suddenly given their freedom. Fortunately most of these people have enough desire and energy to adapt and make it on their own.
yes, you said correctly, and now these countries are under the occupation of Russia, in fact, the Russian authorities control these countries and do not allow them to independently conduct their policies, there are a lot of things that need to be changed
Quite interesting region of the world. Lots of diversities, cultures, nature to be explored, really. Take care and Best wishes from Oranuch in Stockholm City - Sweden

Their government must do something regarding the elders poor living quality. I mean they deserve a comfy retirement for they serve the state in their youth.
Yes. Currently im studying in Europe and cant say that mostly people are happy, especially elder people. Different value of lives. In Central Asia elder people be cared better and they are happy
If they produce more craft products... there must be a market for such skills. Even on ebay. The men could come home and build proper houses, not leaking roofs and cow dung. A tourist destination. Hiking and Pony Treks. With investment a solar power station.
Not really russians gave them alot of technical advancments and infrastructure, i was there every single person i asked there wanted USSR back, they much poorer now.
I advise those who watch this video not to believe everything that you see, now there is no nomadic life here, the author showed life from the bad side, in fact, not as he shows in the video, where they found such people I don’t know, and what is the point of this video I do not understand.
No they are turkic people. However, cultures are similar. They and other central asian people are the product of the corrupt system of communism. The tragedy these people went through was like hitlers regime on a longer scale with difference was instead of being killed their identities were arased.Really sad diversity is what makes world beatiful egzotic or whatever you can say.

typical of Russia to strip the country then leave them with nothing...they should pay back all the money they took in goods and minerals....
THE U.S. WAS AND IS WORST!🤦
I think you got them confused with the Brits.

Let’s say it this way: Russia was both the blessing and curse of Kyrgyzstan
@@Psysso Who are you? how do you know what they all want in the USSR? Study yourself first, who you really are? OK

It makes me think as if Montana were a country in Asia
I was thinking that too, and wondering if they would like old cowboy movies and a redo. :)
Linda Polle yeah Mongolians and their descendants were the original cowboys, they made some of the first cowboy boots, if I’m not mistaken.

Amazing
Soviet empire caused lots of damage ruining the nomads and their own people's lives.
what's is the definition of poverty line in a nomadic group? I am really confused. is it the standard of the cities, the west or the soviet union?
Idk maybe a lack of food and water or a house lol

La réalité crie fort, sans fard, dans ces endroits du monde, les gens sont à nu, intérieurement, juste armés de leur conscience avertie.
i am sure many of these elders would have to meet Mikhail Gorbachev in person to "thank" him in the most violent way possible.

Ulans wife say she had a kid in 98 but she 32 now, was she 11 or summat

This documentary was made in 2011, 20 years after Kyrgyzstan gained independence in December 1991. So Ulan's wife was 19 years old in 1998.
So, while the women and children went without the men drank.
They're mongols by ethnicity, the South-western type, living right on the north of the Tian-Shan mountain range.
