You don't have to. Although, pre seasoning the meat might give it extra savory flavor. But if You are craving to eat tacos to a despertate state, then i reccommend you to follow exactly what this video shows.
I put kidney beans in mine to give it some healthful value. Sometimes I just eat it by itself with a bit o cheese...

No. They cook it differently.
This video is just the basic way to brown and season ground beef. Pretty sure he/she just followed the instructions on the back of the package.
No it not taste like Taco Bell I try it personally and taste like simple no flavor in it if you will try it one day add salt and some flavors on it
Yes it does if you tweak it a bit. Add a tab of Irish butter, a Tablespoon of Angostura bitters and a pinch of corn starch. And if you use 80/20 beef add some cumin.
A store bought package of Taco Bell seasoning does NOT taste like what comes from the restaurants. For example - Taco Bell ground beef has a little sugar in it.
