George makes a detailed, eloquent series of points on a general theme here, and is allowed to speak and get it across. Secondly, what he does get across is hugely forward thinking if you look at society today. Wherever George is, he was right. I'm only sorry there aren't more people putting others on a par with themselves.

I feel the argument that you can't complain about things because it is a reflection of yourself contradicts his desire for change to occur and misinterprets the actuality of that reflection, since it is not a causal relationship but just a variable relationship.
George seems to have been on the right track, but he unfortunately did not get far enough and sadly there will be people hearing him repeat the ideas that others also espouse which are misinterpretations of natural law. natural law is about total order, but it is not about intelligence. intelligence is necessarily an expression of localized associative memory. omniscience, the scale of all, is stillness, homogeneity, perfect balance, absolute unknowing, 0 and 9. the reflections are the relative differences (which there are many layers of) which appear only in relation to localized associative memory shapes that are a part of the infinite balance. all the reflections add up to 9 (which is 0, at the holistic scale). change is a relative difference pattern that appears in localized associative memory. reality is inherently defined [infinite necessity], it is not created, or begun, or ended, or changed. so whether or not inner peace is to be pursued is a matter of the values within a personal experience. if that personal experience is an expression of comfort regardless of circumstance, then sure inner peace makes sense as a goal and motivation. if that personal experience is an expression of holistic harmonic relationship, then it would make more sense for emotional response to be biased towards holistic form, instead of only local form. expressing localized harmony to a pattern that expresses dissonance with the whole (which is unfortunately still a necessity within infinite necessity, one of the main clues that intelligence is not behind it) is holistically dissonant. this is the case with adapting to modern human culture. We can only hope that we get to have localized memory of a portion of infinite necessity than is more expressive of holistic harmonic resonance than holistic dissonance. I personally feel that the good intentions behind the beliefs that George is expressing actually are an expression of holistic dissonance, which is sad, though it isn't for any lack of good intentions.
A friend of mine asked me, with regard to my interest in Buddhism, 'yes but what if you walk into a bar and someone wants to pick a fight?' My reply was that when you're conscious you don't attract that kind of energy. Before, part of me might have wanted to pick a fight as well; it really does take two to tango. If you want to change the world change yourself.
Looking back, the "middle path" that many Brits chose lead them into decline. The country got overrun by fanatical religious immigrants and instead of addressing the problems they covered them up, like all those child grooming cases. In the aftermath, internal division and political populism followed. When you walk the middle path, which I agree with btw, you have to make sure you're actually on it. George never spoke out against any of this afaik. We know from history that kumbaya singing doesn't cut it, an actual effort has to be made to steer society in the right direction.
