I had a 94 Prelude SI back in, I don't know, 2004-5-6? I loved that car. Had the non VTEC H23, swapped in a JDM H22, JDM one piece black housing headlights were beautiful. Almost as nice as JDM Integra headlights. The icing on the cake was the EL gauge cluster I put in it. That thing was nice. I don't care what anyone says, this car was the best looking car Honda ever made, even if it was a heavy slug. Ok second behind the early 90s NSX. I wish I could find another clean 4th gen Prelude to do a K24 swap. Ahhhhh to be young again.
Just picked up a 1995 prelude si for $600. Been sitting for 10 years at least. Cleaned gas tank out. Replaced fuel pump. Runs but rough. Needs injectors cleaned or replaced I think. Excited to see another one brought back. Maybe I’ll share some video of my build on UA-cam as well

Thank you! I drove the car summer 2022 and 2023 and the plan was to keep the car and I had more plans for it, then the supra appeared and I couldn't refuse that deal. but I really loved the prelude and it really was a unique and fun car to drive!🤩
i can't afford to have multiple projects/summer cars, the craving for rwd and turbo was too strong, and at the same time, a good deal came up on the mk3. but i also think it's sad that it was sold, and i actually miss it sometimes.
Some people do it for the love of the build and start over with something else. I did that several times. Always loved putting my vision into the car. Once it was done it was over 🤷🏻♂️
I had this Gen of Prelude and honestly the biggest flaw is those digital gauges, with age they either no longer come on or don’t read correctly when they do… I never knew how much gas I had..
@piggemedia You should have respected the original design....Those horrible rims and that big loud exhaust...don't make it look good...not to mention those ugly lights...,the Japanese and Germans are 1000 years ahead of you.🤷♂

I had an 89 si and a 94 si. Loved them both sadly both got demolished by wrecks, neither of which were my fault.
I love them cars I miss my 92 and them 2000 are nice too the good old days
