Another great conversational and mellow podcast. I love that it always feels like we're just sitting around over coffee.
And, as usual, your taste in knitting patterns is so resonant with me. I love the shawlette, and the aspect of having small 'adds' for the wardrobe in summer. I tend to love spaghetti strap sundresses, but then fret about 'too much' of me being shared. I think this shawlette idea is an interesting option! I also wrestle with the idea of the summer knit. The summer 'tee' for me this summer isn't a 'tee' at all. I'm making a Deschaine, without sleeves. What I love about this is that it's not just a summer top, especially since I'm doing it in a deep plum Kestrel yarn. It will work on all the not TOO scorching summer days, and then well into the fall. It's my second go at this pattern, and I love it even more this time. Have a lovely summer, grind on along through the tyranny of May, and don't worry about us. We are always happy to see your episodes pop up, but no pressure! Hugs from Texas!

I love the little shawlette; the edge resembles owl feathers. Have the most wonderful summer, and don't worry about posting. Just have the most fun and tell us all about it. Happy knitting 💚🧶💚

Can’t wait to see the hiking pullover finished. I’m a fan of Sea Change yarns being in the Bay Area, she’s very popular up there. I think she’s in Santa Cruz or there abouts. She was also at the fiber event in Pomona (got a sweater’s quantity in a gorgeous color). Wow, that Dream in Color yarn is gorgeous. Will almost be like having a flower arrangement around your shoulders.

End of the school year feeling around here too! I love the color of your Kutar top! Can't wait to hear how the yarn wears. Smooshy Cashmere is so amazing to work with. I used it in a Stephen West shawl and did not want to switch to another yarn! Fun to see all your goodies! Shawlette is a great idea for So Cal weather for sure.

Such beautiful yarns you came home with, Andrea! Wishing you a lovely summer ⛱Knitting on a the Batty tee in pure silk from KFO. I know the fabric will grow, but it’s perfect for warm days, and the colour Putty is a perfect neutral. Needles 2.5 mm, though 😅

Wow - contrast the style of the bow with the color! I'll do mine in black or what about a tweed?!

It really looks great in anything!!! Tweed would be killer as long as it is super soft🥰

Hi, Andrea, I’m now all caught up with your videos…and newly subscribed as well! Love your 'hiking sweater'…I might have to try that yarn. Quick question on the pink cardigan you’ve worn in previous episodes, done in the MYPS chunky mohair yarn, how many skeins did you need? Thinking of making one…thank you! Have a lovely summer, XOXO, Lisa 🌸🌺🌼🌞

Hi! Unfortunately I didn't take great notes, but I'm sure I estimated based on the pattern recommendations. Her yarn is so special!!!

@@KNIT_LA ok, thanks! I also looked at her website to see how many she sells in a cardigan kit. I’ve got 3 of her kits, bought a few years ago, so far made two of them. Great yarn!
