How do they compare and what draws you to the Salomon?
@@gregsmith7821 I’ll start by saying that they’re both phenomenal boards.I ride the Dancehaul in a 152 and the superposition in a 157 at 5’8 195 and a size 9 boot. I like the volume shift of the Dancehaul a lot and I think the side cut is dialed on the superposition but the radius is just a little too tight for me. If you’re cruising and party boarding around they’re perfect. They ride switch well for being directional and have good rebound and both butter with ease. If you’re around my size I’d recommend getting the larger superposition it’s a little easier to overdrive the camber and loose grip.

Just rode the Dancehaul today, with my Supermatics. On the groom, in the park, hitting the pow stashes left over from Monday. All good. Nice list. 😎🏂

Do you prefer the Dancehall or the gremlin brother?
Dancehaul is amazing. Does everything you want with no fuss. gremlin too stiff and slow for what it is
Dance hall softer and more jibbie, gremlin more freeride, carves in firmer snow, slightly more stable feeling. Both are easy to enjoy and very capable but neither hold up at high speed.
Depends on the day.
K2 excavator is identical to a dancehaul, just a little stiffer

Next video, most reliable boot brands 24/25. I’m getting back into snowboarding after 15 years and buying my first pair and been watching your videos. Whatever fits the best is best but there have to be brands I should avoid. Also been meaning to thank you, I preordered Clews. Saw your video, did some more research then cancelled my order. Thanks man.

Love my Dancehaul but I don't think it's a weird shape.
It has the most cosmetic shaping on this list. Looks good IMO.
What I got from this is to get the freaker. It's still a fun shape and.. Fuck it, I already got the board and love it. I can't decide whether to crown my rad-but-never-in-the-name-of-holy-fuck-will-I-be-a-dad award to the freaker or the algorythm. The latter is more agile, turny and easier to jib with, the former is.. I dunno, I feel more stable, especially when landing jumps. But the algo doesnt have a fun shape.
But I must admit that I'm intrigued by the bataleon. Even though my past experiences with 3bt have been.. meh. Don't hate it, don't love it, none of my favourite boards have had it.
Wish K2 would bring back the 87.
i have a couple season old 87. and had the original one too. works for me as a daily driver
