    I was looking for a good park board to ride up here in the Southeastern part of Michigan and picked up the Bataleon Disaster. Don’t hesitate to buy one of these. I’ve been riding since ‘95 and this has been one of the funnest boards I’ve added to my quiver. Love the 3BT!

    Thanks for the videos TJ! I’m currently on a 2012 Process Flying V. It still runs well but considering the Yes Basic/Jones All Mtn. I’m intermediate and mainly been working on steeps/carving but wanna focus my progression on park/butters now. Do you think I should stay on my current setup or get the new one? Leaning towards the Yes Basic cuz of the extruded base (less maintenance) and more flex and seems like it can handle all mountain but maybe not as well as the Jones.

      Love it! One of my all time favorite snowboards. It is a great all around park board and could also be a good choice to get into park riding. But it is a little more expensive than the Disaster and has a bit of a narrower center base (more 3BT).

    So currently on a 158 (need to get a size down as im 160 lbs.) Salomon Assassin and wanting a stable board to start hitting and learning bigger features and jumps but still having a all around board so it still could manage the full mountain. Would any of my current options be good, Ride warpig 151, huck knife ( or pro since its stiffer). Or anything else that could work? My ability level is just can get around the mountain and catch some air on side hits and feel comfortable just flowing through runs. But I want to do more and progress and not just mindlessly show up for a session of just doing little things ( if that makes sense). Don’t have a lot of cash hence why im trying to find info on everything i can. but didn’t get any help from the shop and demo days riding my current board so just wanted to reach out for thoughts and recommendations. Thank you and keep it up! Awesome videos as always

    But i have some Problem with Butters it's the ultrafear a bit softer than the Outerspace or you think it's i just need to improve my technic and pressability will be the same for both boards?

      Definitely a great freestyle board and could also be a good one to get into park riding. It is slightly more expensive than the Huck Knife and they made it slightly stiffer in recent years so I opted for the HK instead of the Villain for this video

    I'm looking for a new board for learning how to butter properly. I don't go into the park very often (too afraid of nasty crashes) but want to play around on groomers all the time. Can't decide between Ultrafear, Protoslinger and Wallie. What would be the best option out of these for this kind of riding? I tried a Evil Twin before but it was too stiff for my liking just for reference. And I also own a stiffer twin for carving and icy days so it doesn't have to be good very good in this regard. Thanks in advance!

    • @BoardArchive
      @BoardArchive  3 роки тому +1

      That's one of the best boards on Arbor's line for getting into park riding. The Westmark is one of my favorite boards for all around park, but it is a little more aggressive than the relapse which makes it more difficult for learning.

    • @BoardArchive
      @BoardArchive  3 роки тому +2

      with all of them being true twin they aren't especially nimble in the trees but I still enjoy taking them through some tree runs. The softer flex helps. The ProtoSlinger will probably be the most nimble in there with its rocker profile, it pivots quickly

      @@EssenceOfTrance yes i did! it’s really a great board. awesome for the park but does well all mountain riding too. it has great pop but allows good control and me being from the east the magnatraction is really nice to have for grip in the ice. definitely recommend!

      @@gloriadoudoukjian9603 Glad you like it! I went with the Capita Stevens Pro from 20-21. Figured it was a bit more forgiving since I'm a noob at park. I can only do 50-50's and boardslides on boxes and mediumish jumps. I'll definitely add the Headspace to my quiver in a few years, once I'm better and I'm looking for a little something more aggressive. Enjoy it! If yours is the 20-21 model, it has sick graphics too!

      Twinpig has lots of advantages like being able to size down and rides well in powder, only down side in the park it is significantly slower edge to edge.
