- "You and I will always be back then"... from the series finale of Adventure Time, this is my piano cover of "Time Adventure" by Rebecca Sugar! What a great end to the series that has shaped so many childhoods, as well as adulthoods. This song perfectly captures that bittersweet feeling many of us have at the show ending. I got a lot of requests to cover this one, so I hope you'll enjoy my version :)

Patrick Star exactly right, yet, it’s not *her* show. Like, if this is the amount of emotion she pours into a show that she only worked on for a few years and didn’t create (albeit certainly close to her heart), if she writes a song for the end of her own show that she created from scratch, worked on for years and years, meticulously planned, and poured blood, sweat, and tears into I feel like we’re all gonna be wrecked from the emotion

I haven't tuned in to adventure time since early 2014, but I choked up hearing that it was over- it was a very formative show for me in it's early seasons. Kind of regret I stopped watching.
It's never too late for that rewatch.
I think 2014 is when the show started to get pretty mature and deep. You should watch it again.
Watch it again where you started. Things were getting better at mid season 6 until the end.

I watched adventure time since it aired to like mid season 6. I couldn’t watch it anymore after that because I had to prepare for the audition process for high school. Life happened and adventure time slowly faded away. I forgot all about it until last week when a friend told me it had ended the previous day. I didn’t care too much at the time, but upon watching come along with me’s finale outro on UA-cam I was flooded with memories that the show had gifted me and I realized how much I missed out on. Now I’m rewatching the whole show for old times sake. Adventure time is an amazing show. (And this cover is awesome too btw!)

Definitely very emotional but happy at the same time. It was a very unique show and touched a lot of people, and grew up with a lot of people from childhood into adulthood. This song was a kind of a goodbye to the show in its final episode, it felt like a goodbye to the fans, and the characters, and a goodbye from the show as a whole; and a reminder that although it’s ending, we’ll all still have it in our hearts and remember the way it made us feel. 💕 a beautiful piece of music. Makes me cry every time I hear it.

Whenever I listen to this song I get reminded of my old best friend. We would talk to each other for hours about whatever. I even developed a crush on him. Eventually, he grew and got a job while I was stuck in high school doing homework so we couldn't really talk to each other as often as before. Soon he got more friends while I was still alone. I guess he forgot all about me but I never could forget him. The lyrics even speak out to this fact especially the lines "You and I will always be back then." No matter how far apart we drift the memories of us being together are still there and always will be.

I remember when me, my dad and my brother would just have a movie night but couldn't find anything good so we just watched hours of Adventure Time...Ah the good old days, still never thought I would cry so much at the end though-
I remember watching Adventure Time after school just to pass time and the story in its early days was mainly about Ice King kidnapping princesses, especially Princess Bubblegum. It didn't really had a plot and I assumed it was a weird cartoon. Then, the Fionna and Cake part came out and I stopped watching it since then. There were a lot of things I missed out but there are few that I got to understand and really get into the story. I came back during Stakes and Elemental. It was really heart-warming to see Marceline and PB's own story. I'm really gonna miss this show a lot ❤❤
