It makes sense though. You've watched them for so many years go on adventures just like you always have been, and they continue on making adventures without the viewers, the fun is the possibilities of the stories you can think of they went on after the series ended. It's a nice way to end a series, its always been about adventure, and it continues even when everyone moves on.

Aw man, In the beginning I'm imagining Finn as a butterfly then into his incarnated version as human Finn throughout all these adventures, and then finally incarnated as Shermy at the start of another adventure.
Finn is the butterfly in the outro and Jake is the bee

@@pelerflyp5398 Well he is someone different. Reincarnation just means so. remnant of finn is there, and will be there to continually be reincarnated. Shermy isn't literally finn.. hope that helps xd.

I couldn't finish this show for a long time, I wasn't ready for it to end. But I watched it with my partner last night and we cried our eyes out. This orchestral version is something I want played at our wedding this show means the entire world to us

Absolutely stunning. This song ties in well with the conclusion of the series. I find that there are a few meanings here.
Yes, the biggest adventures are now in the past, and we now have time to rest, recuperate, and just...have fun. But that won't stop the adventures completely, because every day a new challenge arises.

I think that there's an actual adventure time cookbook in real life and bacon pancakes is one of the recipes
heyy so i'm by no means a professional musician or a critic, but here's just some thoughts of a teen while listening.
1) the music box, following piano and strings, at the beginning hurt. like, it was amazing. but it hurt. it reminds me that soon, adventure time will just be a part of my childhood memories of cartoons. but that's okay. because i was there to watch them.
2) the buildup of strings was top notch,,, like,,,,, wow,,, i totally imagine this in a trailer or amv or something else for the gum war/battle against golb,,,,
3) flutes kill me and it had the same effect,,,
4) the strings and piano that resembled a triumphant comeback really felt like they realized what harmony does, it harms the discord that is golb,,, and when they all fade out to the music box, i feel like that could be betty's wish. her as golb leaving the realm, forever. the aftermath. the rest of the lives of the characters. i'm close to tears. well done.
If I could ask what the significance of the flutes are to you in the case of 3), I confess I don't recognize that melody from the show.

I really wish I could say how much I wish I watched Adventure time as a kid, cause reading everyone's comments make me realise how beautiful the show and the community is. This reminds me of the past frienships I've had with special people I've met.
I am back at the same path I was treading before.

Adventure time was my childhood, and to witness it’s end was like watching the joyful stress free innocence of a previous life pass on. I’m excited and happy to see what lays ahead but I’m extremely depressed that it’s gone and I didn’t appreciate it for what it was, and I think others can relate.
Just listening to the beginning made me draw tears, this series was part of my childhood and adolescence, it was really beautiful as a term
Every time I listen to this song. I imagine the amazing adventures that Finn and Jake, PB, Marceline, Simon, and everyone else go on as "they kept living their lives"... how their stories played out and how their eventual 'departure' from Ooo. Such a beautiful ochrestration, so many chills. Thank you.

@@imtoolazytothinkofapropern5767 It's worship-worthy. It's that good, as no other kids' show has made me feel the ways Adventure Time has. I also haven't seen any show before it only get BETTER with time, with great character development, likable and complex characters, rich lore, beautifully sad and meaningful songs, and that little touch of charm from its childish silliness.

Oh was I ever late to this game. What wonderful joy has been bestowed unto me. Finding this lil obscure kids cartoon show has made a huge difference in my level of earthly happiness and I simply cannot thank you enough for memorializing this in orchestra. It is simply one of the most beautiful sounds of my existence, truly. I cannot miss Finn and Jake, PB and Marceline and all our friends because they live here, within. And Hulu has the complete series (a reason to continually renew). I may, one day, find and buy the whole collection so that they'll live with my grandchildren and theirs and theirs and theirs.
This song is very well done. As a musician I would've waited / wanted it to last more time between 4:24 and 4:26 but it's nothing to worry about. BRAVO

Rest in peace, Adventure Time. Maybe someday... Someone will remake the show, in honor of the original.

Damn honestly great job the amount of effort put into this is incredible and very rarely does music make me kinda tear up or feel something but this did exactly that. Just hearing this makes me so happy because it reminds of the time when I was a kid and I would watch adventure time with my cousin everyday and that we would pretend we were Finn and Jake. No phones No social media just two kids having fun everyday but hearing this also makes me kinda sad as it makes me realize that those times are over and I’m probably not gonna get them back because I along with him have grown up and moved on but at least we can have the memories where we wandered through the forest and do so as we please 😇

Agreed. I have been watching this show since my early childhood (since around 2010) and it ended this year a few weeks before my 15th birthday. It also feels like my childhood ended as well when the show ended. I had watched most of the early seasons and after the finale ended I binge watched every single Adventure Time Episode to relive my childhood one last time and see the episodes I missed. Goodbye Adventure Time. You have always been there through my childhood.

2010-2018
I was eight years old when I began watching this series, and now I'm nearing my high school graduation years later, still with the memories of one of the cartoons that I used to sit on my grandparents' couch and watch on the weekends. I always feel my heart twist in my chest when I think about how I've moved on through life, and how Adventure Time has changed and moved through the years, as well.
A constant in my life is no longer there, but I thank the creators of this wonderful show for letting their characters grow up just as I have.
You will always hold a special place in my heart, with the butterflies and bees.
