I believe he was maybe the best English film actor so far. There was honesty and brilliance in his work. And, he, every time seemed to truly understand his lines and the full concept of the script and the picture.
Hate to bore people but this man was the greatest thing out of the UK for the last century. Great actor and insecure which is a trait all great me have. Best eyes I have ever seen.
i had the luck too meet oliver a few times, once in dublin, and in the village of churchtown on co.cork where he felt he truly belonged,we had a few drinks in his local, sound guy,it was a strange thing meeting him as i was always a hugh fan.u can visit his grave in that village,he was buried behind the pub, people often drink a toast to him there..
Lovely tribute. He was indeed one in a million. Who else could give the line,"You sold me queer giraffes" so much weight beginning with that narrow-eyed look of disdain ? Masterful, to the tips of his fingers. Thank you
he will always be a mystery. What was real and what was fact.Still such a talented man, hopefully will get to share a drink in heaven with him.Cheers Ollie!
Oliver was a man who had lived a life to its fullest - a bit too much from time to time. He was making a new rise with Gladiator, only to die before his prime.
As Ernest Hemingway said; Every mans life ends the same way. It is only the details of how he lived & how he he died that distinguish one man from another.
thanks for this comment, and it is nice that you met him personally, just saw him in Women in Love where he plays Gerald if Im not wrong, a marvellous interpretation. Was he buried in Cork, and was he Irish ? would love to go there where he is resting.
For a great and gifted actor such as Oliver Reed, you would think that they would have given him a longer tribute then 4:28 ! It should be no shorter then 1:4:28 He was Brilliant!!!!!!!🎭🎭🎭 He is not RIP, He is living , creating , loving, and still inter tanning in the heavens above! God bless you Oliver Reed, He will be back. With all my Love 💖💖💖
great tribute but im sorry that you missed his great role in "lion of the desert" as the Italian General Gratsiani .. a great role presented by a great actor .. he is a real class of his own.. once again cool work :)
Did you know or can you remember that Reed was a DJ on tv once, oh back in the '60's. He was very good too. No one seems to recollect that part of his long career. Burton once said of Oliver, "He is a beer drinker, not a real drinker" Or some such words. Burton had the voice, but Oliver had the presence.
Inolvidable actor, multifacetico. Ojala hayas encontrado paz, para tu atormentada vida. Te extrañamos querido Ollie.
This is tribute is not real, I wa thinkng that I 'm a bad clipmaker watching this... becaus eit's over the top! I love Olie, rthanks soooo very much for this video! God bless youf
With all due respect they look nothing alike. oliver reed's blue eyes were like Nordic lakes and he probably out weighed Bardem by about two stone and four inches (no pun intended!) Oliver Reed was much more strapping and threatening and most of still in comparison to JB plus his speaking voice is still unrivaled by any actor today.
Wake up all the ladies out there-a real man. The like is hard if not impossible to find anywhere anymore. A true master of his craft- georgeous💝
Such talent and charisma the likes we shall never see again. What a man. RIP
The charisma. The face. Man`s man. Superb.
I believe he was maybe the best English film actor so far. There was honesty and brilliance in his work. And, he, every time seemed to truly understand his lines and the full concept of the script and the picture.

Miss You Oliver Reed!!!
As Ernest Hemingway said; Every mans life ends the same way. It is only the details of how he lived & how he he died that distinguish one man from another.
How very true

once again cool work :)
He had those dangerous eyes. R.I.P. The best Bill Sykes aka Oliver Reed.
His looks were a combination of Luke Skywalker and Iron man 😉
Did you know or can you remember that Reed was a DJ on tv once, oh back in the '60's. He was very good too. No one seems to recollect that part of his long career. Burton once said of Oliver, "He is a beer drinker, not a real drinker" Or some such words. Burton had the voice, but Oliver had the presence.
Oh I third that, he was from start to finish.

@jdncoke2 Glad you like the video. Both those clips are from a film called 'The Assassination Bureau' a comedy that also starred Diana Rigg.
When I die my only wish is to join Olly in heaven.
UM BAITA ATOR,PENA QUE JÁ SE FOI..........
I have a friend who has Oliver Reed 's eyes ,and he is an aquarian like him , I think this is his motto as well ;D
Hard as nails. Witness "Hannibal" - tough but a good guy. America makes the superstars. And so does England.
I miss olly
te amamos ollie, por siempre. tan talentoso , te extrañamos. laura.
in the 1974 movie about the 3 mosketheers he steal all the seenes
Hoy, 02/05/18, se cumplen diecinueve años de la muerte de Ollie. Inolvidable actor, multifacetico. Ojala hayas encontrado paz, para tu atormentada vida. Te extrañamos querido Ollie.
Oliver Reed was a real down to earth guy, not like these modern day super stars.

@Onlinemediadirect thank you
he had a wierd structure 2 his face reminds me of 1 of the hobbits from lord of the rings
With all due respect they look nothing alike. oliver reed's blue eyes were like Nordic lakes and he probably out weighed Bardem by about two stone and four inches (no pun intended!)
Oliver Reed was much more strapping and threatening and most of still in comparison to JB plus his speaking voice is still unrivaled by any actor today.
Don't make em like they used to, or the movies
1 person has no soul
You don't have to have good looks to be an actor.
