Me and my friends in Montgomery,Alabama hired him about 3-4 times to play for private parties or at my bar named Crockmiers. God I miss those days. He was so down to earth. I will always treasure those nights we had with him. He was a good man and a great artist. God bless you Jerry Jeff. , Johnny Sullivan
Been a fan for years. I remember listening to Jerry Jeff with my parents as a kid back in the seventies, and I listen to him now with my kids. My wife and I were at this concert, about three rows back from center stage. It was a great show, vintage JJW. Thanks for posting.
It all started with Walkers Collectables for me...what a tremendous talent and wonderful human being...long live Jerry Jeff and his lovely wife Susanne...Rock on Los Gonzos
Jerry Jeff is a treasure and we are losing too many treasures as time goes on. I would put him there with Glenn Campbell, Willie Nelson, and Leon Russell, to name a few...all still with us, but all, except Willie, of course, winding down and pulling down those country back roads into the sunset. If you do not know the words, it would be worth your while to check out another recording to get them.
The man that put Luckenbach Texas on the map which is a bit unfortunate (tourists) but if you never saw him play there you missed something great. Everybody's Somebody In Luckenbach
In honor of songwriter, Guy Clark, who passed today May 17, 2016. Jerry Jeff Walker doing Clark's song," L.A. Freeway." Listen to the ending jam-it really rocks! ua-cam.com/video/m-CVpY4jRYI/v-deo.html

Sad day as we lost this national treasure

Rest in Peace, Jerry.
Thanks for the great music.
Everything JJW put out was brilliant! I still sit in awe of him.
Steve Samuels NEVER misses a beat....

Saw him at a small club in Ames, Iowa, back in 1979 (I think).
Always loved the humor in Guy's lyrics & way JJW played the song.
I was at that show in Ames. It was at Grandaddys. (now long gone) Great show in an intimate environment.

He only played it for 40 years! Where the hell you been?
I saw this live and it was great and cost me a relationship with Cecily,
