Hello Avraham, I'm sorry to hear you are having problems connecting to your android phone. I don't have an Android device myself but the process should be pretty much the same here: help.fitbit.com/manuals/versa_4/Content/manuals/html/Get%20Started.htm Failing that, it might be worth resetting the watch and trying again. To do this on the watch go to 'Settings', then go to 'About' then scroll down and select 'Factory Reset' this will reset the watch to factory settings allowing you to follow the steps in the link above.
Hi James! Thanks for the review of the Versa 4. It was helpful. I had a Blaze for many years and it went unresetable black screen dead yesterday. 😢 However, the good news is that means I'm now looking at buying a new smartwatch. I am looking at the Versa 4 but also considering the Sense 2. As this review was made 9 months ago, how do you feel about the watch now and have you compared the two? I'm interested in your take. Thanks! ~ Christine
@@ChristinePena thank you so much for the comment, it's appreciated 🙂! It's a great question! My understanding is the Sense 2 offers a better level of monitoring features, for example, checking your heart rhythm/rate, how well you slept, fitness (and perhaps a more?) but in doing so it also costs more... so you're someone who is keen, or simply wants to know more detail about your health and/or fitness, and you don't mind the additional cost then you might want to get the Sense 2. However, the Versa 4 still does a great job monitoring general fitness and costs less.. so if you're after a general view of your fitness and sleep then you might want to consider the Versa 4. Either way, you should find them much better than your older Blaze 🙂
Thanks I found this very helpful. I have had a fit bit for years but it died and I am looking for a replacement. Now there are so many options, I could not make head nor tail of features, different styles and look. You mad it very simple and clear! I am off to buy a Versa 4. Cheers!
Hi James, I've been thinking about getting this smartwatch for a while now, and your video finally provided a review that doesn't just criticizes the watch by comparing it to its predecessor but also highlights its positive features. Thank you very much for this video. I am now looking forward to getting this smartwatch for myself :)"
Hi Lebenslichter, thank you so much for the kind words and positive feedback 🙂! It is a great watch for the price and I'm sure you will like it. Thank you again!
I don't see the issue with lack of music control on the watch. Blutooth has a 10m range, plus forward, back, volume, mute ,call answer or reject and noise reduction
ok, I got the versa 4 a few days ago and it is telling me i did over 11000 steps today, but my phone and pedometer say about 2500. How can I calibrate the fitbit versa 4?
Hi Tim, thanks for the comment 🙂. This can be done in the Fitbit app on your phone. Open the app > Select your Profile image to the top right corner > Select 'Fitbit settings' > Select 'Exercise' > On the next screen scroll down and click 'Stride length'. From here you need to type in what your stride length is.
@@james_newall it is set to automatic, but it is so close to my walking stride. how does it calculate the number of steps? via gps or the impacts from the stride?
Hi Spectral, thanks for the comment. See here 🙂 05:32 which hopefully answers this question. I've added links in the description to the Versa 3, which is another fantastic watch.
Hi Ostanniy Filatelist, thanks for the comment! I think I counted them correctly, there appear to be 66 languages available. I don't fancy typing them all out. Unfortunately, looking at your name Ukrainian isn't available.
Hi Gary, thanks for the comment 🙂! The battery is one of several things I like about the watch, and makes using it so much easier where previously (on my previous watch) I was regularly having to check how much charge I had left.
Hi Elsa, and thanks for the comment. No it doesn't require a monthly subscription, but there is a 'Premium' service with a 30 day trial IF (emphasis on 'if') you want to try it, but I don't use it.
@@james_newall your style of review and how you put it together your edits very clean I really do like your presentation skills and editing and quality of video add no fault of your own the Fitbit Versa 4 doesn't have Google assistant and it's definitely not your fault keep up the good work
The Fitbit Versa 4 a simple, smart looking smartwatch. Let me know in the comments below if you have one or if you’re looking a different watch! 🙂
I have a FitBit Versa 4 but I cannot connect it with my Android phone. I get the languages set up but nothing else. I am very disappointed. 😢😢

Hi Ben, thanks for the comment 🙂. I agree, the lack of music control isn't a problem for me. It's a great watch.
I've had it since Saturday and the battery lasts

Is it responsive, does it lag when scrolling through the fitbit
Hi Penny, thanks for the comment 🙂. No, I've not had any problems with this.
Thank you for the fast reply appreciate it
The Fitbit Versa 4 battery is better than the galaxy watch 5

Does it required monthly subscription just to use a basic fitbit app?
