I have the Versa 3 and as you alluded to, w/o having the music capabilities anymore they're just an expensive watch. I also had an issue with it breaking out my wrist where the sensors are. And for it to be called an exercise watch is kind of a joke...no stopwatch?!?! I've reverted back to my Ironman watch. idk, maybe I need to give the exercise mode a try? It was my understanding that the GPS capability would sync your time and I've found out that is not the case. W/o having a smart phone paired up you're really at a disadvantage; not much use out of the watch. My score: 4 out of 10. I got this for free from my Human Honor Medicare Advantage plan so I'm not out any money. 😐

Hi J Wightman, my most worn watch would be the Garmin Vivoactive 4S with the Fenix 6S Sapphire as a close second. And my current fav watch is the Garmin Venu 2S 😊... Even though this is a Fitbit video I'm talking about Garmin lol

Hi Ashely, it's found in the Fitbit app under clocks and digital watch faces. It was originally blue I believe, not purple I customized it to that after download. Sorry, I don't have the name. I change my watch faces quite frequently and unfortunately didn't save the name of that one.

Have you heard anything on the software update? I can't download any new clockfaces, spo2, or pandora. I just got my watch a couple of days ago and all support could tell me is that there's an update?
Hi Hesper, I haven't seen a new update yet. Unfortunately with Fitbits you can't auto check for or force an update with the app. All you can do is sync your watch to the app and if an update is available it will install. Also, if the isssue your having persists I'd recommend a factory reset of your watch to see if that helps.

Hello Kecia! I personally prefer the Versa 3 but, the choice to get the Versa 4 or not is up to you. And yes, you could still use it without the internet to track your day. You just won't be able to get some apps to work/update without Wi-Fi like the weather app for example.
Great review… But girl of the heart rate accuracy is terrible. I wear mine at Anytime Fitness and I wear a pulse ox. The exercise bike, and the pulse ox read the same and the Fitbit cheats you out of a lot of heart rate. Unless both the pulse ox and the bike are accurately wrong, and I doubt it. 😆
Thank you, and the pulse ox is definitely off, it comes up too low in my experience. But, I find the heart rate to be quite accurate on my Versa 4. I even counted my own heart rate physically and it was spot on with the watches rating. The Versa 4 is a bit slow when it comes to showing quick heart rate changes like in HIIT workouts for example but otherwise has been good in my experience.
Maybe that’s what’s happening and I’m just not understanding that. Sure makes me skeptical though when the bike matches the pulse ox. And it has a hard time reading when super sweaty. Thanks again!

My fitbit versa 4 keeps accurate time, BUT it is confusing a.m. and p.m. on the time. Of course I can tell the difference, BUT it should apply the a.m. and the p.m. accurately.
Hi Diana, you can choose to do 24 hour time instead (I have mine set that way) for zero confusion. Or choose a different watch face with am and pm added.

Do you know if versa 4 shows notifications when the screen is asleep? I can’t seem to get mine to work and have to turn my wrist to view messages etc. My versa 3 I could see messages instantly without having to wake the screen. Can’t seem to find anything online
Hi Megan, I have mine set for only text and call notifications and they always show up even on a blank screen but, only appear if my phones Bluetoothis on and my smartwatch is connected. Not sure why yours isn't showing notifications when the screen is off, its possibke you have do not distrub or sleep mode on. If that doesn't solve it I'd recommend reaching out to fitbit customer service for assistance.
Do you feel it counts your steps correctly ? Cause I have the cheaper Fitbit and I’ll literally just be brushing my teeth and it will think I’m walking cause my arm is moving lol I want something that can track my steps more accurate

Hi Loretta, no you can't download music (only the older Fitbit Versa and Versa 2 could download music). If you are looking to download music for phone-free listening with Bluetooth headphones on your smartwatch I'd suggest checking out a Garmin watch, I've reviewed many on my channel :)
Hello, you need to download the fitbit app, and add the watch to your account, and it will walk you through the setup and how to use it. Alternatively, find a good UA-cam how to use video. I haven't made one, but I'm sure there are plenty, as this watch has been out for a while now.

Hi Cole, yes it has Bluetooth calling, and I can't explain why that is a personal preference thing, you'd need to try using Alexa assistant, and Google assistant yourself to see which one you'd like more. I do prefer Google Assistant.
When it comes to the watch i got the graphite version. Also I recommend others replace the plastic band with frabic ones . When it comes to battery life , always on gets me 3 days . When it comes to having it off. It last a week.
I like Fitbit versa 3 way better than Fitbit versa 4 ,Fitbit versa 3 have third party apps, Spotify etc , they removed all this in the new one that’s killed my vibe

Hi Robert, yes you can also do Bluetooth calls with the Versa 4, the call quality doesn't sound as good as on the Sense 2 but, is definitely useable.

Hi David, I don't believe it has underwater/swimming heart rate monitoring, as I never get any heart rate readings or data when I'm in the pool.

This is basically almost identical to the Sense 2 lol.
It makes zero sense to have a fitness centered device with zero music app integration. Very strange decision.
