You know what it is that makes Maxwell better than other opera singers? A complete lack of artifice. He is simply singing, and he happens to sing opera, beautifully.

Thank you so much Ken, I really wanted you to hear him. Maxwell just doesn’t realize how good he is. He ended up in fourth place overall but I think he should have won. That’s what I don’t like about talent shows - sometimes the talent doesn’t get to win. Thank you!
Sometimes I don't want them to win - because the talent show then controls everything about them for a set period of time. The talent can be way beyond the show's limitations and so have total freedom to fly!

The microphone thing is because he has been a busker for 10 years and if you hold a 'cheap' microphone up close to THAT voice, it will distort, thats why he cups it and pulls it down.

You put Simon down too much. He is a business man and he is the boss for sure. You should watch from beginning and see what he was saying. In fact Simon has changed so much and he has amazing soft heart. Do you know how much money he has paid to those singers and dancers, who were sick and almost paralyzed? I tell you this. He paid 250 thousand pounds to a dancer with spinal deformation since birth, because she had to go to hospital for surgery after her performance. That sure should really change your idea about a pure business man.
