This is Bucket List level stuff. I have 5 VIP's to their first show for my wife and 3 adult children. It will be the first time I could take my entire family to see U2. This venue is likely going to blow our minds. The 8K format from the previous tour was pretty mind blowing, but the sphere is going to be to Las Vegas as the Colosseum is to Rome. PS: I wish Larry a speedy recovery! Its not quite the same without him.
We’re going to the Sphere in October for the U2 concert. I’m a little concerned after getting an email from Ticketmaster that the level 1 sec 105 seats are under the level above and tho great view of the stage, only partial view of the massive video display behind and above. We had only 1 week to decide on a refund but we’ll go and hope for the best! And the last time I saw U2 was in 1984 in Toronto so I’m due again! 💚
Sounds like you’re there for U2 and not as a Sphere tourist so I’m sure it will be awesome! I feel like I’d be happy close to the stage to focus on the band and the music! I saw them in the 80s too and I’m so excited. I know U2 will design an immersive/connected experience but I don’t want the visuals and spectacle of it all to distract me from the music. That’s where the power and soul is. Can you imagine 40 years ago… “you’re too close to the stage, do you want a refund?” 😂 Enjoy!
