- Scores of diplomats have walked out of two meetings at the United Nations in Geneva in which Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov was beamed in for a video statement, as a protest against Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.
Lavrov spoke by video to the Conference on Disarmament and the Human Rights Council, which he had planned to attend before closure of airspace to Russian planes by several European countries prevented his travel to the Swiss city.
“What you have seen is strong support for Ukraine,” said Bonnie Jenkins, U.S. Under-Secretary of State for arms control and international Security, after the walkout from the disarmament meeting.
Shortly afterward, in a conference room two floors higher, scores of diplomats - including Ukraine’s ambassador in Geneva and the foreign ministers of Canada and Denmark - poured out of the Human Rights Council chamber.
A spokesman for the council said about 100 people left the room. #Ukraine #Russia

They did when Russia put nukes in Cuba during the Cuban Missle Crisis. This is no different. If the U.S. or NATO puts missles in Taiwan , Vietnam, or Hong Kong ,,, China will react the exact same way. Many NATO treaties and ballistic missle treaties have been broken by NATO and the U.S. since the 1980s and most were broken after the fall of the Soviet Union. The deals struck in 1947 were that no NATO countries could border Russia and no missles or heavy military equipment could be placed on Russia's borders. 14 countries have joined NATO since the first deal was struck in 1997. Also... Agree or disagree Russia will not allow a NATO country to control the land that borders where their Black Sea Naval Fleet is stationed . We were all blind to those conflicts, because, let's face it, the Middle East has been destroying itself for millennia, for religion & tribalism. If the West thought it could contain the Middle East, it wouldn't b a problem to world peace. But, this is different. There's a lunatic in charge in the Kremlin, who's desperate to press that button & looking for any excuse to do so. His threats become more terrifying daily. Stalin ended up the same way. He suffered a stroke one night & no-one would go into his bedroom from fear. Even his doctors wouldn't enter his room. So he died alone, choking to death, because everyone was too afraid to save him. He'd personally murdered hundreds of thousands of his own people, just by signing a piece of paper. You just had to glance his way & u were dead.

And what your countrymen are doing to my beloved city right now, as well as others in its country, is a greater outrage than anything the world has seen since China's genocidal invasion of Tibet in 1951.
Remember that when nukes start raining on your beloved Russia. I pray you live long enough to watch your children puke up their irradiated guts and die in your arms, instead of dying first.

What I'm trying to say is that we have come to this point because Russians security concerns weren't taken seriously, Russia's diplomacy neither. In such a critical situation western diplomats should stop childish behaviour, time will come for all these accusations/protests ecc. But what is needed right now is PEACE, therefore diplomacy is more important than ever, dialogue is crucial. This type of behaviour won't lead anywhere good, the more the time passes, the more suffering in Ukraine. This guys aren't having their job done, protesting for Ukraine instead of solving the issues that would bring peace for that nation.
The UN is suppose to try to resolve by peaceful mean but they are just escalating. Even if you don't like the other side you still should listen, that is the job of the UN; dialogue between all countries. Well I am going to walk out of the UN in the vietnam war, the wars of Israel, the falklands and the gulf war.
