  • Welcome to my kitchen! Today I am going to teach you how to prepare a delicious Dominican liver with onions that will make your mouth water. This recipe is perfect for those looking for a meal that is full of flavor and easy to prepare.
    Dominican liver with onions is a typical dish of the cuisine of the Dominican Republic. It consists of chunks of beef liver seasoned and cooked in a mixture of onion, bell pepper, and other seasonings. The final result is a dish full of flavor and with a smooth and tender texture on the liver. Liver with onions is often served with rice and beans or with a fresh salad to balance the strong flavor of the liver. It is a very popular dish in the Dominican Republic and can be found in many Dominican restaurants and homes. Bon Appetit, friends.
    Ingredients.
    500g of beef liver.
    1 large onion cut into julienne strips
    60g bell pepper julienned
    1 1/2 cup milk
    salt to taste
    1/2 tsp oregano powder
    1/2 tsp pepper
    4 tablespoons of olive oil
    1 tablespoon butter
    1/2 tsp liquid seasoning. I use the maggy brand.
    Preparation.
    Clean the liver by removing the cloth that it brings. Cut it to your liking and put it in a bowl with the milk. for 30 minutes
    Take them out and remove excess milk. season with salt, pepper and oregano
    Let stand for at least 15 minutes.
    fry them in a pan with oil for 3 minutes on each side over medium heat
    remove from heat and reserve
    In the same pan add the butter, onion and bell pepper
    Brown them and then add the water and the liquid seasoning.
    After two minutes, add the liver again, mix well and leave it for one more minute to cook. make it juicy not dry out completely.
