Oh man. The poor OP who planned an event had no one show up. I remember getting invited to what was clearly a sales pitch at work and I couldn’t stand the idea that no one would show up so I went and it was just me and one other person besides the host and the sales person. I'm 23, and when I tried being more active and losing weight, my hip started hurting the more active I got. Went to the doctor and found out I had a deformation in my hip joint that caused bone to rub against bone. After the discovery they made me go through physical therapy, but the deformation in my hip wasn't getting fixed without surgery. Well I finally got my surgery a few days ago and am on the road to recovery. I hope I can start being active without anymore hiccups once I recover.

There is an actual creepypasta about plastic surgery and it starts in a similar way. I didn't finish reading it because I could feel myself starting to go pale. Glad this story had a more pleasant experience than the creepypasta.

So, after hearing the post and comments after 8:37 I wanted to offer some extra commentary (go figure, it's my thing): when declining someone's approaches, try to be fair and neutral. Obviously it's mean to be rude to others, but also consider how you present _yourself._
A long time ago someone voiced their interest in me, but I had none in them. Rather than kindly decline, I described myself in a very poor light because I had issues with self-deprecation and it was a defense mechanism.
However, my attempt to put myself down also hurt the feelings of the person interested in me because I, without realizing it, was basically calling them dumb for liking me.
Be considerate of others, people. Don't put yourself or others down. Be fair and reasonable to others until their behaviour warrants other action.
Im thankful that I can trust my parents. I am disabled and they help me manage my money responsibly. We all know how much I have and I have never found money missing.

I lost more weight just rearranging my calorie intake to a deficit instead and cutting carbs/gluten/dairy, rather than using exercise. I'm not fond of dislocating my arms lifting weights either.

The problem with weight loss is that hundreds of millions of years of evolution have reinforced making weight loss as difficult as possible, because the ability to eat more than one needs to is a very very recent thing, on an evolutionary scale. Your body has evolved to hold onto any weight it has gained so hard that getting rid of weight and keeping rid of it basically takes constant, non-stop effort. You have to go hard all the time and not let up ever. A single cheat day can cause you to spiral back to weight gain. Whoever said it just takes a little work was wrong; losing weight and keeping it off takes a ceaseless, Herculean effort.

emkay I thought you were done with the stock footage over the stories instead of showing the text? It's so irritating trying to follow along when I have audio processing issues and ADHD and instead of hearing it I just get distracted by stock footage of some idiot rubbing their belly. I really don't want to switch youtube channels but if they keep trying to change stuff like this I might have to go, it's just hard to follow along with for no reason
