- Power verification of our latest customer build, nicknamed "Beast", this gorgeous custom painted blue GTR features a custom build capable of producing over 2000HP at the flywheel as verified by this testing session last week. Please note that this is an AWD GTR converted to RWD only for dyno testing, it is a true AWD GTR on the street and on the track. The GTR is primarily RWD with front wheel assist, dyno testing in AWD with disconnected rollers will burn out the AWD clutch on the first pull. It also does not affect the power output whatsoever. This is also much safer for our crew and the vehicle because the car isn't oscillating on top of the rollers during the pull.
The "Godzilla" name makes more and more sense now :D

You can build a much cheaper car to be faster and quicker. That's been done and done. But none will do it with the luxury that the Veyron carries drivers in. It's a luxury car with a crazy high top speed.
It is still AWD, but dyno'd in RWD for safety reasons.

I agree! It's not wroth the price to me let alone the price VW spent on the car building it. I call it luxury because it's built to be as smooth and comfy as possible, like a cruise missile, around a track it's not exactly...in it's element. I sat in one once and feel it's as luxurious as any other luxury car. But then again I'm not exactly a luxury car guy lol. I still think the Veyron is a party piece for people to show how much money they have.
yah i have also seen with such power car have blown up on track..Why some cars blow up with such engine??because they cannot control their transmission on time

great numbers no doubt about it (a fucking beast), but lets get the ball rolling and see some performance numbers! meaning quarter mile, 60-130, etc etc.
gets boring (competition-wise) seeing AMS being the only shop that produces these numbers for everyone to see. SPE needs to step their shit up too. you guys gotta stop worrying about dyno numbers lol

I have never really been a big Veyron fan myself and my money will always be with cars like the Hennessey Venom GT all day any day. I also know of cars for less then half the cost of the Veyron that would smoke it in both acceleration and top speed. I even know of a car that was making a full 200 less horsepower at the wheels that has already been proven to be a full 2 miles faster vs the Veryon because it toke the Veyron 5 miles to do what the other car did in just 3 miles.

I would rather have a GTR as well lol. I can appreciate the masterpiece that is the Veyron, but it's just too much everything. Take a GTR, Switzer ultimate street package and you'll take a Veyron up to like 150mph easy all on pump gas!

stock stroker in 2000hp would blow up the engine lol
+Kj K Stock crank and block, both get examined and reworked for our purposes. Still a 3.8L, so it's stock bore/stroke.

If you divide 1760 by .85 it is 2070hp. They are factoring a 15% driveline loss.

Every engine loses power to heat lol. An engine that big creates a lot of heat, even leaving the engine out in the open. Believe all those radiators are what helps it run at it's to speed for a full tank of gas and never overheat.

You didn't correct anything lol it's not about ignorance, it's about not making absurd comments from documentaries trying to make the car seem more powerful than it really is. There are Vipers on the road that have been making over 1200whp since 2007 with a lot more time on the road than a Veyron will see.

This car on the the street surely you would get slip from the rear wheels with that much power so the 4WD system (I am guessing you have taken the front drive shaft out) would have kicked in meaning that you would actually get less HP on the street then this dyno pull? Also there is a certain % of HP given to the front wheels all of the time only the R32 GTR (I have 550hp one) truly is 100% rear wheel drive until there is slip the R33 and R34 always send 5% to fronts. I am not confident in 4wd mode this car would push that much HP. Its wicked result and it wouldnt change the engine output just the ATW reading.
Our cars make more power on the street because it actually loads the engine harder. Traction is always an issue at 1000HP, let alone 2000HP!
SwitzerPerf Oh really. Suppose that makes sense you also have alot more air rushing at the engine to. Makes sense wont argue on my limited knowledge. Yeah I could imagine that traction is at an extreme premium.
oh i totally understand what they they and how they got 2000hp. but its on a dyno. why not just say what the dyno reads instead of doing math to get a bigger number. no one rates crank power accept car manufactures. thats like me titling my videos 700hp integra when really it puts out 639whp
