- Video of dyno session today. Vehicle drove from our shop 20 miles to
independent Mustang Dyno, made 1005awhp and drove back to the shop with
A/C on and cruise control set. The goal of this combination was to
generate 1000whp while maintaining a dual personality. We wanted to
have a GTR that would cruise around as comfortably as our milder
upgrade cars, but be a terror when at full boost in kill mode. - Авто та транспорт
I seriously love how it's got that much power and it looks bone stock....it's freaking great!
Dream car right here...In about 10 years I'll be calling to have one of these...if they still do them!!

@kageryu311 Well as for traction on the street,you can acheive very similar standing start acceleration from a 2wd car like a corvette.awd will always be quicker right out of the hole,but the extra weight and drag means you loose a little once you are on the move.For example,The hennesey gtr800 is only 2 tenths quicker to 60mph than the zr1 750(on normal road tyres)Its also a few tenths slower over the 1/4 mile.
@GallardoFreak888 Oh I have seen that one. It never really beat it. There is one part where the P800 was ahead, but that was because the Veyron and to slow down and go to his lane because there was a truck ahead.
@kageryu311 yea, Love to see a tuned veyon. If you watch the long video how they make it. When they first tested the engine it made 3240 bhp.

@dwill8919 Thank you for your technical analysis, but the GTR is a RWD biased AWD system, and with the correct suspension tuning, you can balance the car for less push in the corners. Most class race cars are HP limited, so drivetrain losses are dropped by running RWD, increases drivetrain efficiency. Funny you mention the Z06, because our full interior street driven P800 GTR's setup for the track consistently lap gutted Z06's that get towed to the track, now add another 300awhp to the equation.
Approximately 800AWHP, if you would like a more pump gas oriented combination, check out the Ultimate Street Edition which makes over 900AWHP on pump fuel.

@untamed326 VP C16 or Q16 leaded. Approximately 800awhp or more is possible on 93 octane.
It would likely add a lot of complexity to the engine, and failure points when under stress, but it would be interesting for sure.

@dwill8919 The R1K is still street legal and sounds stock. They had one at TX2K12 and didn't sound crazy. The car came with AWD and it doesn't have anywhere near the amount of understeer you are talking about because its RWD biased AWD. Secondly modifications for any cars are expensive. Another thing is a 1300hp Z06 sucks ass at getting traction on street tires and hell even drag radials unlike the GT-R in this vid.

@antonyr123 A stock GT-R is geared for 220mph and has the Aero to hit that speed. Bone Stock GT-Rs have hit 196 and the 2012 GT-R hits 200mph easily. I don't know of any place where you go beyond 180 on the street or the track and I guarantee this car will hit 200 in the mile well before the Veyron. a stock Veyron does about 190mph in the standing mile.

@calvinblinkee it will get destoyed. When VW first made the Veyron engine is made over 3000Bhp @ the flywheel.
VW tuned it down to 1001bhp. i once watched a porche over 1000bhp and lighter then veyron and it still lost top end.
@antonyr123 I agree and thats what I've been saying this whole time. The GT-R in this vid would out accellerate the veyron at these speeds.

@kageryu311 The corvettes also run in full interior,street tyres etc etc.. I have seen a factory delivered z06 beating a p800gtr off the mark,even with both drivers reacting at the exact same moment,and then almost keeping up over a full mile.So much for 4wd!Yes you are correct that the gtr will be better on a slippery surface.All i'm saying is that the gtr is not "the best car in the world" as cult followers would like to beleive.
@FatB00 ams are working on the alpha 12 package right now [so probably 1200+awhp.] So will see.
@kageryu311 The switzer is SFA different than the hennesey.Btw the zr1 750 is just as quick or quicker than a p800 over the 1/4.I would like to see a rolling start race between a 1500 hp zr1 like nelson racing build and a p800.Bring that on!In any event,you cant drift an r35 real good,the thing is driven by computers i.e no driver involvement and you have to upgrade more stuff like brakes to do serious track work.The ride of the gtr is R.S and the driveline hideously noisy.Some street car.
@LtGenAkshonJackson dude, i agree. i cant stand it when people are like 'where are your vids'. it takes time to create first off and second people get busted for street racing all of the time here in oklahoma. not necessarily because of the vid showing an illegal act but because it shows the surroundings and then cops show up a few weeks later and its an all out sting. a race is easiest to film but creating an actual video that has any value is much more time consuming.

if you worked out the maths you would need close to 1600Bhp to get a skyline even close to 250 then it's not saying it will stay down on the floor. As japan proved before when they crashed there Twin turbo skyline at 218bhp due to it letting go.
It really isn't that easy to beat a car that cost over 3 million to build.
@kageryu311 Problem is, You gotta think about drag. whith is somthing a stock skyline isnt tested for at over 200mph.
Did u know veyron had to be tested with NASA because no where else had a wind tunnel to test them close to 270bhp.
@SICKNESSstunting They were too close. This one should show a huge difference while being a comparable car.
@dwill8919 Another thing is that most Z06s making 1300hp are dyno queens unlike this car.
Jst doesn't cut it on a track.it hurts more then helps

I am blown away at how smooth this car idles. Holy shit, 1000+bhp hell 1000+whp and it idles like this. What mods are done to this?

@dwill8919 check out the british top gear test track... chevy lost to nissan there... also where can you get a new gtr for 60k with mods? lowest ive seen for a gtr was 80k...

I've looked into the GTR and I've realised that they don't have VVEL technology, but the 370z does. Is it possible to install the VQ37 heads from a 370z on a VR38?
I can imagine that there would need to be some custom mappings and tuning for it but VVEL on a GTR I can imagine would have amazing torque and power all over which means larger turbos for with lag. The GTR sounds WAY throatier though, possibly due to camshaft profile.
@SwitzerPerf This GTR would be eaten alive by a Z06 such as that built by Dallas Performance.250kg less weight,and extra 300whp means this GTR will finish a long way behind on the straight.AWD doesnt always make up for the extra weight in the corners either.Official figures show the gtr is no better than a corvette on a skid pan,slalom test,or under brakes.I guess thats why nissan had to run a trillion laps at nurburgring over 3 years to finally edge past the zr1!
@weetnietgeen What streets or races would you need to go over 200mph. The R1K would beat the Veryon SS in the 1/4 mile, the standing mile. Any roll race that shuts down at 200mph.

@kageryu311 I know of at least 2 or 3 6 speed corvettes running lo 9's in street trim.yeah I saw on a video the dallas performance corvette run from 50-180mph in around 10sec on the street.Fitted with auto boxes,c6 vettes are running in the7's currently with factory rear ends.BTW this gtr is no less a dyno queen than DP corvettes.If anything the DP cars are more streetable.You can hardly hear them run and they're on boost at 3000rpm.What so "dyno queen" about that?

You people talking about bugatti forget 2 important things:
1- The Bugatti has 1000hp stock, not modified/tuned
2- There's the new version with loads more hp

@rivenz6 What are you talking about dude? The Hennessy GT-R 800 is a crappy system done by hennessey. Those guys can't build a car to save their lives. The Switzer p800 and AMS alpha 9 would eat the Hennessey gtr800 for breakfast and kill the ZR1 750. Both of those cars would do that on 20" street tires as well.

@kageryu311 Well theyd be about the same over a 1/4 mile,actually the r1k would be a bit slower.It would be a bit quicker to 60mph,see what i mean.Gain in one place and loose in another.Incidentally Dallas performance can be seen racing on the street and anhialating 1000hp cars,and strangely enough getting no wheelspin in the process!You cant even hear the engine on full song,It's that quiet.Quieter than this gtr.
What kind of octane fuel was yall running during that dyno?

@Tj1056 not one with mods.u can find a used 09 gtr for just under 70k.and I'm in no way talking about top gear.im talking about real racing.hint the the bringing up of the rowlex car serious..where highly modified vettes n gtr's battle it out.and other race serious of that sort where Chevy whips Nissan.again I love the gtr but awd

have there been changes to make this car lighter? cause the car is pretty heave and there are some luxuries in it which arent meant to be in a supercar.

@antonyr123 Why run all the way to 267mph. There arent many straightaways in the world that can do that. This GT-R would own the Veyron in many different motorsports. It would beat it in the 1/4, standing mile 0-200-0, Any road course with some good turns etc.
