Back with another discussion vid featuring Superliminal this time! Thanks to everyone for your topic guesses in the comments of the last video 😊 (Btw I know I said I should be back to streaming atp in the video but I need a lil extra time on that lol) 🌟 Leave a comment about the topic of the vid to be included in a follow-up video! 🌟
I definitely felt like I did not fit in going through middle school up until halfway through high school. Everyone else had that friend group they belonged to, and I was the one that was bouncing between groups. I never fit in because I was adjusting my behavior to what each group of people acted like. I was not invited to any hangouts or events, and I just felt isolated. Sophomore year of high school I gave up and decided to just be myself, and soon after I developed a group of friends that felt genuine. Most of this friend group dissolved after high school, but I kept the lesson of being myself, and my confidence has really grown. Being myself has made who I would call my best friends, and life has just been happier. I've always found your videos entertaining, and I'm loving the new series! Can't wait to watch more!
I've been feeling this a lot about UA-cam. Some of my best friends came from a random youtube comment or a channel I liked and most if not all of them gave up on UA-cam and UA-cam in general got boring and competitive but I found that same friendship and fun spirit on twitch. Glad to see you're trying to bring that spirit back to the platform
I'm glad I'm not the only one feeling it! Kinda seems like with the sensationalization of UA-cam videos that we've moved away from the community aspect. If I could be any small part of a revival of community I'd be happy!
I'm definitely not the only one in this case, but I felt like you were talking about me almost all the time here. The feeling of not fitting in any group at school (until I found mine), the feeling of not really being included at work, the feeling of not finding myself enough quality and being in front of my mirror every morning saying to myself that I am handsome… Today I know myself more than I did when I was in highschool, but having an Asperger syndrome (which is legally considered a social disability, not a mental one), I've never and probably will never feel totally connected to people, so although I'm more connected and sure of myself, sociallizing will be a constant battle for me (and I'm not even talking about finding love😅). Anyway sorry for the novel again, great video as always, love this series keep it up!!
Also want to echo I also struggled to fit in with friend groups until high school. Ive been lucky to keep close friendships from then and university. Once I decided to unapologetically be myself I found my people. Im very grateful for our friendship and hope we can hang more in person soon 🖤
Aww thank you Jenny, I'm grateful too 😊 We should absolutely hang out more soon! It almost seems like feeling like an outsider is a universal teenage experience lol, I'm glad you found your tribe though :)
When I was in high school / middle school I had felt I didn’t fit in. I would get i.s.s. a lot in the fear of not finding a table at lunch or thinking people who wouldn’t want to sit with me. I had friends and whatnot the but fear of thinking I was annoying or whatever stopped me from doing a lot of things. Years later I caught up with some people from school to find out that to them I was seen as “popular”. My perspective and their perspective were much different. Eventually I found a close knit group of friends in person and then I found twitch. Which lead me to communities I felt welcome and which further lead me to good online friends. Speedrunning and world of Warcraft brought me to 10+ year friendships. Loot crate brought me to this new UA-camr named Lauren! I would watch her twitch streams, eventually became a mod for twitch and UA-cam. Found her awesome editor, some cool chick named Emily. All leading to this very comment today 😁😉
Definitely makes me wonder if I wasn't as much of a loser as I thought I was in high school lol. I'd be curious to hear it from someone else's perspective. Online communities are no joke! Some of my best and most long lasting friendships have started online 😊 Glad the internet fates brought us together haha
@@EmSArcade I look back and it wasnt at all as bad as I thought when it was happening. I'm sure that in actuality it wasn't as bad as you thought either!! I would have definitely been friends with high school Em! I was nerdy but also a skater kid and good at shop class. I had a classic case of the grass is always greener.

How many degrees of separation are you from Markiplier is the new question to ask people I befriend at this point.
Lmao it truly is the thread that binds us all together
@@EmSArcade I would love to see you do a playthrough of Granny Simulator with Markiplier. His playthrough with his regular cohorts was comedy gold.
@@deanjustdean7818 Lol sadly we haven't hung out in any capacity since like 2016 so I don't think that's likely, would be fun though I'm sure
