started watching this because i thought “yeah this’ll tide me over until Floppy’s Inscryption video” and it took me a solid 30s to figure out that this was the video i was waiting for
At 3:26:22 it's mentioned that the "Leshy uses his wildlife camera to capture beasts" which piqued my interest. I wanted to point out that there are some parallels between a camera and a gun, you can "aim/point" and "shoot" a camera. There also exists a "Chronophotographic gun", according to wikipedia: "The chronophotographic gun is one of the ancestors of the movie camera. It was invented in 1882 by Étienne-Jules Marey, a French scientist and chronophotographer. It could shoot 12 images per second and it was the first invention to capture moving images on the same chronomatographic plate using a metal shutter." The reason why a parallel between wildlife photography and hunting sprung to my mind is because I've seen a Soviet cartoon called "Three from Prostokvashino", and one of the characters, a dog, uses a chronophotographic gun and acts akin to a hunter. I don't know where Daniel Mullins is from and I doubt that he's seen said cartoon, but regardless I think the thematic link is neat.
Awww, now that’s a sweet reference from my childhood! :D And.. yeah, I think that’s actually the only time I’ve ever seen this type of gun. Never crossed my mind to research that before…
Here so I can be a hipster and 'was there when he was below 50K' when flaw peacock reaches 1 million subscribers. Seriously, one of the best brake down and story teller youtubers. From the editing, writing, even skits. This lad's going to be big.
I know how you feel! I was here when there was only one FAITH video and Skinnamarink. I was so excited to watch the back catalog and was like, "Wait, that's it!? Damn...I hope he keeps making more videos so I'm not left hanging." Watching this channel grow is like seeing a seed turn into a flower.
same, it always shocks me when i remember floppy technically isn’t a big youtuber, because he’s genuinely one of if not the best youtubers ive come across
Since we started talking about Leszy I just need to add that he is technically a Slavic demon (demon here is less Christian and could be more accurately described as fay creature but it could be of use that we call them that), unlike his Ent-looking cousin, who works on Lorax rules and won't harm you if you respect forest, Leszy is a creature that tends to seemingly for no reason will get you lost in a forest or lead you out of it. He is also often described as a pale, white man with black, long hair, tangled in twigs and evil eyes who is as tall as the tallest tree in the forest he lives in, which always forces him to crouch. In the beliefs of other Slavs, he is described as a shapeshifter or associated with missing one half of a set of body parts (like an eye) also often compared to the devil as a deceiver by Russians. Now that is nearly one-to-one of what Leshy does here (aside from black hair but seeing how it's not even black in the art Floppy showed, you might get it's super different across regions). Up until we see him as just this feeble old man he seems like a giant terrifying forest creature. If nothing else it's a cool play on folklore but if we are going with the "the old death cards are devs" angle I propose that it has something to do with the other Americanized Polish surname of Kaminski perhaps his part of the creative input seeing how the rest of the game of Inception (animals and characters) feel so decidedly American
I find it amusing that within less than a year of the skinamarink video coming out, we've already circled back to a piece of media involving the stabbing of one's eye. There's already so many different videos referenced throughout this both related to Mullins games and not and, intentional or not, this felt like one of those moments where being a fan of this channel since the start tickles the brain in a fun way. Great work as always, Mr C*ck.
"They should do a thing like in video games where instead of selling skins, you can open a box and you might get a skin". What a novel idea! Don't let big video game here about this
I love how much attention you just paid to fan art! Most people just put it on screen without mentioning it, but you went out of your way to acknowledge the artist and say something nice. All the best!
@@rachaelbeth3119 I think the nature of doing things like that is having to pick favorites. A fanart roundup feels out of the scope and vibe of the channel, imo. Though of course it’s not my place to say.
@@reddonut1518fan art videos might be out of scope, but it can still be showcased on a website or Discord or something. He might have a friend willing to help for a fair fee to collate and post it all someplace with attribution and links to the artist's socials or whatever. In my crazy mind there's a creative solution to almost any problem, or "problem" if you catch my drift. He can still pull his favorites for the intros and shunt the rest of the work to someone else if he wanted to. It was mentioned, however, that this is his channel and he can do whatever he wants on it. I do know he reads comments so this might get the gears turning for all I know.
something similar happens if you use a card with the Stinky sigil to weaken the moon. he’ll comment with what seems like genuine surprise on how that doesn’t make any sense because moons don’t have a sense of smell, and that he didn’t imagine the fight going this way.
2:24:18 not sure if you mention it, but it’s really interesting that the person who eventually beats Leshy, does it while filming his play through on a Camworks camera. The camera is used against him, just like how he captured his own cards.
Satan went from generating artificial souls through the GameWorks software to collecting human souls through the KamWorks... Kinda makes you think, doesn't it?
i just love the way you, not only hyper-analyses the game, but also interacts with skits, it really adds to the immersion and peculiality of your videos. glad i found your channel by skinamirink.
2:13:33 this is actually the ruby golem from the finale, a magick (act 2) card from magnificus, it may have glitched in like the other scrybes items in act 3 (holographic woodcarver mask, skulls and books)
I was like: "what is this channel in my notification feed..." OH WAIT THAT IS THE FAITH UA-camR. I can't believe you are still doing these super in depth analysis videos! This is amazing! I am going to watch all of these. Quality channels like this are a complete rarity. But as the prospector says "I've struck gold!"
When I see how Flaw strategises the moves on the whiteboard it makes me feel like a brainlet, I beat the game without ever really thinking about evaluating my moves; all of my battles were based on instinct and thinking in the moment. Then again I’ve never been good at card games but Inscryption is designed in such a special and unique way that accommodates any play style, Daniel will go down as one of the best game designers I’ve ever seen.
41:30 I always see Leshy as a guy who loves to be the DM. He's fair, and enjoys watching his players overcome his challenges. I see different styles of players in all of the characters in this game.
And here we are, inscryption, the favorite of the three, not saying it's overrated, of course (but the The Hex fan inside me is crying, the pain of being the middle child). Found this Channel only like 1,5 mounth ago, and Jesus this is the good content, i always wanted. Thanks for giving :).
The rusty armor during the walk towards the cabin could also be referencing well... Rust. Rusty armor? The name of one character, Rust, and the apparel of another, Theodore, being combined together. It makes the linking of the fixed position movement even more clear since both protagonists of those segments are referenced by a single object.
I may be getting floppy with it, but the numbers needed to get the roll of film could be a reference to 0451, a common calling card of the Immersive Sim genre. The first passcode protected door in Deus Ex uses the code and it was a reference to a code used in the Ion Storm's office. Subsequent games in the genre also use that code for their first locked door. Now I don't know why that would be referenced in Inscryption, but it's the only connection that comes to mind.
What better way to get immersed in a simulation (as in Leshy's game simulated within the larger game of Inscryption) than to be literally brought into it (as a death card in this case)?
As someone who is a long time Magic: The Gathering played and have been a fan of Floppy since his Skinimark video, the "Lesson" sections are a treat to watch. I loved the "Blue player" bit in the "Value" lesson. I also love how they can apply to other games like Magic, Pokemon or Hearthstone. It's probably the best part of this video. I look forward to the rest of this series!
This channel is such a gem! The music, impeccable. The skits, darling. The recurring bits, comforting. The floppy thinking, titillating. Thanks for sharing your creativity with us!
" These keygen songs are always such bangers" , I feel personally attacked and amused by this bit. Goddamnit bro, how are you not more popular? Keep creating, your work is absolutely fantastic. Explore all your creative ideas, make everything you can.
This channel is just under 50k subscribers. This was done in less than a year, going by the posted date of the first video which was Skinnamarink, AND was through organic discovery as far as I can tell. No Abby Shapiro million dollar ad blitz needed to force everyone to become aware of it needed. That is absolutely explosive growth! I know we all roll our eyes when we hear, "Like, share, and subscribe!" But it's actually really important; the sharing part especially. If you want to help get more people watching, even one post on Twitter, Facebook, or your social media of choice with a link to the video will have a massive impact.
the speed at which you make these analyses is unbelievable, and their quality too! your videos are honestly some of the best and most in-depth ive seen on all the topics you cover. really excited to see you cover more of inscryption and other games as well! p.s.: watched the whole video and my head is already full of theories. im in huge anticipation for the act 3 video specifically after hearing about the p03 and lionel parallel bc i think theres a lot to think about there. also a lot of stuff can be said about magnificus and the themes surrounding him (him being called stunted in act 1 for example). act 2 will also be very interesting, as i think it's the act that says the most about the four scrybes
Whilst you were on the subject of illuminati symbolism I noticed that Sado's hair parting can also be interpreted as the point of a triangle, with her eye in the centre Edit: her nose and ear are the other points of the triangle. It could be a stretch, but it may be intentional. Either way, I can't unsee it now
I'm starting to study for my finals today and I was feeling super down at the prospect of spending my whole afternoon glued to my desk, but seeing that you had uploaded made me audibly say "OH THANK GOD". I really really love your work, I hope creating content makes you feel happy and fullfilled for many years to come :)
Dude, youve been posting videos for less than a year and already youve put out 16 video essays (most of which are well over an hour!), and all of them have been incredibly insightful, not to mention super entertaining. Happy to have found you near the beginning of your channel because Im super excited to see where you go from here. Just try not to do so much you burn yourself out, yeah? Take care :)
Just as you begin your take in the Mullinverse, the mad man release the trailer for Panda Circus Also, as discovered by youtuber Flemmonade in his latest video, in the Hex Walk section, after perfoming the falcon kick, you can fall even more out of bounds and find a message written: "Pony Island 2: Andy Serkis". Not sure what to make of it
I'm so excited for this!!! It's crazy to see how this channel has evolved from the first video, while still maintaining core individuality and identity along with certain aspects remaining consistent throughout all videos! I'm forever thankful for coming across your Skinamarink while that movie was being discussed, as I have enjoyed every single video since!!
Love the references to other Mullins games like Beneath the Surface and Sacrifices must be made! Even though they were explicitly mentioned I think it may have been a little better to have them be just fun hints/references until you get to the ARG, but that’s just my own way of getting flawpea with it As always a lovely video, I can’t wait to see how you cover Act 2, and what happens to the Flaw Peacock characters
im so very glad that i found you when i searched for who\s lila content! your style of editing and videos in general are so smooth and the fact that you make skits in-between analysis and you MADE YOUR OWN OST??? its just incredible!! love you stuff so so so much!!!
It is actually possible to survive the "Too fast. Too soon." event, but your deck has to be exactly right. A lot of cards for blocking, cat cards, and poison adders. Also having items like the scizors helps. Least that's how I did it my first playthrough If you do survive, Leshy's eyes stay red until you lose later.
the whiplash i felt when they said "i was crocheting, i don't have time for videogames!" in a joking manner i had to look up confused at the screen away from my crochet in my hands
Part 1? What a cockroach tease. Looking forward to more content from my favorite videogame story detective on UA-cam. :) Also: your interest in card games really shined through, and you came off so genuinely excited talking about these things had me smiling along.
This is such an ambitious project and I've been so excited to see the result! Super happy to go into this video with the extra context from your hex and pony island breakdowns :D
I just want to give you kudos for your writing and editing. I love feeling like we are solving the mystery together. I'm so looking forward to future videos!
So glad this is out! The Hex and Pony Island videos have been fantastic on their own and a great buildup, but this game's got a special place in my heart and I've been excited to hear your well thought out analysis on it ad how you tear down all the mechanics. Can't wait for it to consume the rest of my afternoon. ❤
The "Desk" game is a very neat concept. A card game puzzler where the results of your plays will change how the story/interrogation pans out. I wouldn't mind seeing an actual game about it.
10:04 the situatuon you describe here is particularly 'fun' when you're a writer who hears the voices of their characters very strongly in their head. Sometimes the legit reason I return to a project is "The protagonist showed up in my dreams and shoved me off a cliff so clearly they're feeling neglected.' 😂
Found this channel through the pony island video, rewatched the hex video about 6 times already, and when i went to watch the rest of this channel's videos i saw that the channel is actually very new. I really enjoy your content floppy man!
I initially skipped all the skits, but now on my third rewatch of this video, I'm appreciative and invested in the story you made with the archetypes from previous videos! The only reason I was turned off by them was because when this video first came out, I sent it to my sister’s boyfriend. He got me interested in Inscryption yet he never finished it, with a negative outlook on the game overall, so I thought he’d be interested in the overlapping story. The skits are a delight, but when I first got to them, I worried that he'd be weirded out by them with no prior context, idk if it has a name but I get really anxious when sharing things I like with others, and if I THINK they don’t like it, I start liking it less. On a tangent, I think I'm starting to grow out of this mindset with my recent love of Batman cartoons, specifically BTAS currently, Alfred is the goat
this video started playing on my autoplay while i was sleeping and i woke up while u were explaining the value/econ of the cards...thought dps stood for damage per sacrifice based on pre-existing knowledge. had a nice laugh upon hearing it meant damage per squirrel, and started the video back from the beginning. solid humor and breakdowns, dude 😂 subbed
I cannot wait for Act 2! I love your storytelling and the humor and all the "crazy theories" that you throw out there (though in this franchise, it's hard to tell what's out there and what isn't). As a budding creator myself, it's really inspiring to watch you grow and watch your videos get better and better. Editing is the part I struggle with most, and you do it so well! I don't even know how many dozens and dozens of hours went in to making this. I wouldn't be surprised if you got into triple digits, actually. Just wanted to let you know that we see the hard work you're doing, and from where I stand it looks like it's all paying off!
Learned a lot of extra things I didn’t know! Also, Grimora is indeed in the back room, she’s just hard to see. And if you sacrifice Child 13 enough times, it becomes the Hungry Child.
Flawpea you did it again! So excited to see every last morsel of mystery and intrigue in Inscryption laid bare on the whiteboard. I really enjoyed the discussions of strategy and Leshy’s game philosophy. The difference in the scribes’ approach to their game was initially somewhat lost on me, as I’m not a TCG player. I feel that understanding their philosophies is crucial to fully “get” their characters and the story of Inscryption. The game development process holds much thematic importance in the Mullinsverse after all. On another note, thank you for your engaging and thoughtful approach to media analysis. The consistent love, excitement, and positivity you bring to your work is such a breath of fresh air in this era of algorithm-fed negativity. I’m wishing the best for you and your channel in 2024 and I’m proud to say I was here before 50k :)
I’m only in the intro skit now, but the production of your videos is always amazing. I love that you have a catchy theme tune and you even have ambient background music of that theme for your skits! Your work never ceases to astound and inspire, my man. ❤ I look forward to learning the secrets of the Mullens-verse!
1:43:00 I think maybe Stinkbug is referring to not being able to remember Stoat's name, beyond the first letter. Perhaps being turned into a card replaced their proper names with their animal names, at least temporarily.
I’ve been subscribed since your FAITH series and I’ve been super excited for this video to come out! I’ve been obsessed with Inscryption for a while and it’s really cool getting to see you tackle all of Mullin’s games, not just Inscryption
About Leshy's name and it's meaning, it's hard to translate, but it would indeed mean "the man of the forest" or something to this accord. In my language the proper spelling of Leshy's name would be "Leszy". They're generally guardian spirits of deep forests, and they're very moody creatures. If one was to get lost in the forest, a leszy could just as much guide them out, or chase them deeper into the woods, depending on their relationship with humans and individual personality. However, the other two names you mentioned sound like "leśnik" and "leśniczy" respectively, and while they would translate simmilarily to "leszy", they are specifically referring to normal people's jobs. "Leśnik" and "leśniczy" mean the same thing, and that's an occupation, that's a little obsolete nowadays. They rougly translate as "the guy working in the forest". The job is something between a forest ranger and a lumberjack. Probably depending on a region and type of forest, leśniczy could also be known as "gajowy", "las" being a general name for a forest and "gaj" being specifically a small, dense group of leafy trees. A leśniczy may have hunt animals for meat, chopped wood, hunted big predators that may have endangered local villagers, and left out food for larger herbivores in winter, but today they mostly focus on raising saplings and making sure dumbass kids and other pests don't make a mess in public forests.
Wanted to add one more thing about the title. It also includes the word "crypt," which fits the fact that all of the characters and code are dead in one way or another. By opening the game, you are opening the "crypt" and interacting with the dead. And in the end you close the crypt and allow them to rest
you know what? not having finished the video (but knowing a lot of the funny secrets in inscryption), i've only just now realized that the "crypt" part of inscryption is important actually. also (again, not having finished the video), hope that you also cover "Sacrifices must be made", the... prototype? of inscryption.
I found this channel yesterday, and I've already binged the entire Mullins verse series you've made. I'm IN LOVE either way this video style. I'm probably going to go binge the rest of the channel now. I can't wait to see part 2 and 3. This is one of my favorite games.
I am absolutely loving this Daniel Mullins game series explained. I bought Inscryption when it came out, with no knowledge that it was a Daniel Mullis game, with no understanding that it had any connections to Pony Island. I only vaguely knew about Pony Island at the time. After beating act 1 I then discovered that it wasn't strictly a roguelike deckbuilder, and put it off for a while. But because of this series, I'm going to redownload and go through it again before act 2 and 3 get put out. So, Thank you. P.S. From Golgari to Selesnya.. Poetic.
I bought Inscryption when you announced this series, and the whole time playing it I kept saying things like "oh, Flaw P. is gonna love this part" or "I cant wait to hear what Flaw P. has to say about this." Can't believe this is only your first year of content! Keep up the fantastic work!
The “hardcore mode” skit was so amazing-actually, scratch that, EVERY skit was amazing. I’m always blown away at your creativity and charisma. Your skits are my favorite part of your videos… I’m so invested in the lore of the Floppyverse
I noticed while watching that the bodies you see when you finally trap Leshy in a card look a lot like the protagonist from Walk (from the Hex). The hat and noir-like clothes as well as the first person pov. It may be unimportant, but I found it interesting.
Thank you. THANK YOU for voice acting the lines that aren't voiced in your video essays. I love watching these deep dives while working, and it really helps.
3:29:40 gonna get a lil floppy with it here, but i find something interesting about the safe code, grimmora, and the hopeless soul's password. 2734, the password 273, the safe code 4, a number closely associated with death, grimmora's domain. not much meaning to it, just a lil somthin-somthin. excellent video as always; i'm going to go play the hell out of kaycee's mod again now.
Leshy sounds like Leszy in Polish. Leszy means a lich. You know, undead magician/ necromancer. Edit: You are right. It's a pale, weird dude of the forest, not a lich. Which in polish means licz. Edit: On further research, Leszy was of ambiguous morality. He was definitely anatgonistic towards lumberjacks and hunters, however if you did not harm the forest, sometimes he would allow you to find your way out if you were lost in it. Sometimes he would even make wild animals run from you, so you were protected. Something like Orion from Warhammer lore.
this is very exciting for me, I haven't played pony island or the hex (just haven't had the time yet), but a friend got me inscryption as a gift. i spent so many hours in leshys game (kaycees mod sweep) and also really dug into the rest of the arg (something i never really do. im just not very into ARGs, id much rather just deal with a straightforward story and complicated subtext and themes. I'm into interpretation not decryption) so this is the first in your mullensverse series of videos that i come into with full context!! i love your art man, your style is lovely and i love your skits and characters meditating on the themes and elements you're analyzing. i always look forward to watching what you post.

Business/supply chain PhD student and uni tutor here! at 2:25:00 - the answer is "vertical integration". Horizontal integration is when a company acquires a company at the same point in the supply chain (i.e., if a grocery store bought another grocery store) whereas vertical integration is when a company acquires another company either before or after them in the supply chain (i.e., if a grocery store bought a manufacturer for a certain product). Because Game Funa is supplying Game Works, and then Game Works is supplying Cam Works, they would be "before or after" each other in the supply chain, making it vertical integration. I understand the confusion though, becuase, if you were to map out this supply chain "horizontal integration" would "appear as vertical" (i.e., you're buying a company above you on the diagram), and vice versa (where "vertical integration" would "appear as horizontal" because the acquired companies are to the left/right of them).
my partner really loves inscryption. it's never been something i could really sink my teeth into, not sure why. im a little tipsy and we had to put down a dog i loved today. ive been putting off watching this video until it was the "right time" because i love your content and you can only really watch something this good for the first time once. as dumb as it is, this feels like the right time. i don't know where i was going with this but your videos always make my day better. im glad i saved this one for today
Apparently in Act 1 the Moon doesn't have the sigil that makes it immune to Death Touch/Deadly or whatever its called (Doing damage always Kills an opposing card)and Smelly (-1 ATK to card opposing this card), infact Leshy has a line of dialogue about how Smelly negates his strategy. Only reason i found this out is because during the first 30min of this video i was like "You know what? I heard theres a console port of Inscryption, I wonder how well it works, i got eshop money for Christmas and love the Kaycee's mod portion of the game, it'd be really fun to playthrough on the go" so i bought it on my switch, and actually beat the bears using a 6/6 Oroboros with the Hourglass item during the 2nd phase of the Trapper/Trader. This was honestly an amazing combo: play Inscryption on my switch while watching an awesome brake down of it, thanks! Good luck with covering Act 2 and 3! Also little thing that not many player know, but you can use cards other than the Ring Worm to poison the campfire. Keyword is Poison, deadly cards/Death Touch- whatever, they work also. So if you have a useless Adder or Long Elk, that'll also work
I just found this channel, and I’ve been binging this stuff. It’s just so damn good! Something about the way you present everything is incredibly engaging, I cannot get enough of it. At 3:26:22 it's mentioned that the "Leshy uses his wildlife camera to capture beasts" which piqued my interest. I wanted to point out that there are some parallels between a camera and a gun, you can "aim/point" and "shoot" a camera. There also exists a "Chronophotographic gun", according to wikipedia:

The reason why a parallel between wildlife photography and hunting sprung to my mind is because I've seen a Soviet cartoon called "Three from Prostokvashino", and one of the characters, a dog, uses a chronophotographic gun and acts akin to a hunter. I don't know where Daniel Mullins is from and I doubt that he's seen said cartoon, but regardless I think the thematic link is neat.

Everyone saying that long videos like this are the waste of time… but i just enjoy every second of this magical horrific world building things
Time enjoyed is never time wasted!
The people saying that are wrong and should be ashamed of their wrongness.
I mean they take more time sure but that doesn’t mean the time is automatically wasted

i love listening to stories, its what i use this platform the most. to listen to what people have to say.
Great work as always, Mr C*ck.
say your words with utmost vigor and without censor! MR. COCK!!!!!!!
I'm always glad that Skinamarink video popped up in my feed when researching what that movie was about
They do say the eyes are the window to the soul.
A...hopeless soul, perhaps?
It all circled back, is what you're saying.
Time moves forwards, but the Oroborus remains
"They should do a thing like in video games where instead of selling skins, you can open a box and you might get a skin".
What a novel idea! Don't let big video game here about this
I love how much attention you just paid to fan art! Most people just put it on screen without mentioning it, but you went out of your way to acknowledge the artist and say something nice. All the best!
I hope that once he gets big and gets to much to really to that in video that he’ll make fan art videos to do the same thing
@@rachaelbeth3119 I think the nature of doing things like that is having to pick favorites. A fanart roundup feels out of the scope and vibe of the channel, imo. Though of course it’s not my place to say.
@@reddonut1518 thats fair
@@ChristopherSadlowski this is the answer 100%
If you kill the moon card on turn one with a poison touch card Leshy says something along of the lines of "oh damn didnt think of that, anyway gg"
something similar happens if you use a card with the Stinky sigil to weaken the moon.
he’ll comment with what seems like genuine surprise on how that doesn’t make any sense because moons don’t have a sense of smell, and that he didn’t imagine the fight going this way.
Act 1 and 4 hours of content... It's gonna be a blast!
@@ChristopherSadlowski how come anyone in this universe trusts anything with "works" in the title anymore?

i just love the way you, not only hyper-analyses the game, but also interacts with skits, it really adds to the immersion and peculiality of your videos. glad i found your channel by skinamirink.
2:13:33 this is actually the ruby golem from the finale, a magick (act 2) card from magnificus, it may have glitched in like the other scrybes items in act 3 (holographic woodcarver mask, skulls and books)
Hi Max
This is like the late Christmas gift I never knew I wanted. Thank you for your hard work!
I was like: "what is this channel in my notification feed..."
OH WAIT THAT IS THE FAITH UA-camR.
Then again I’ve never been good at card games but Inscryption is designed in such a special and unique way that accommodates any play style, Daniel will go down as one of the best game designers I’ve ever seen.
it sounds like you played how leshy wanted you to play
41:30
I always see Leshy as a guy who loves to be the DM.
Thanks for giving :).
proud to say that receiving 33 hours of flaw peacock has been the highlight of my year
Some tribes of native Americans believed that having your picture taken would steal your soul. Perhaps that was part of the inspiration for this game
inspyrytion :)
Soma :)
33:00 I love "DPS = damage per squirrel" so much lmao.
The references for both characters would be separate from one another.. If only they didn't have to snap to fixed locations!
Or that one steamboat Willie reskin
It's a Ruby Golem, one of Magnificus's cards
I loved the disco elysium bit. We need to see more of it later.
I know I said this last time but I adore your voice acting in your videos. Absolutely keeps me coming back, you're very fun to listen to.
i totally agree, he did an awesome job with the hex!
Whilst you were on the subject of illuminati symbolism I noticed that Sado's hair parting can also be interpreted as the point of a triangle, with her eye in the centre
Edit: her nose and ear are the other points of the triangle.
Good luck on those finals! Hope your studies pay off 🙏

The Moon not providing any value to Leshy's board goes down as one of the best moments in gaming's history. Superb vid!
Just as you begin your take in the Mullinverse, the mad man release the trailer for Panda Circus
Also, as discovered by youtuber Flemmonade in his latest video, in the Hex Walk section, after perfoming the falcon kick, you can fall even more out of bounds and find a message written: "Pony Island 2: Andy Serkis". Not sure what to make of it
Kinda sounds like “panda circus” which is the title of the next pony island game
Even though they were explicitly mentioned I think it may have been a little better to have them be just fun hints/references until you get to the ARG, but that’s just my own way of getting flawpea with it
As always a lovely video, I can’t wait to see how you cover Act 2, and what happens to the Flaw Peacock characters
im so very glad that i found you when i searched for who\s lila content! your style of editing and videos in general are so smooth and the fact that you make skits in-between analysis and you MADE YOUR OWN OST??? its just incredible!! love you stuff so so so much!!!
It is actually possible to survive the "Too fast. Too soon." event, but your deck has to be exactly right. A lot of cards for blocking, cat cards, and poison adders. Also having items like the scizors helps. Least that's how I did it my first playthrough
If you do survive, Leshy's eyes stay red until you lose later.
Hey, Flaw Peacock, I am living for these multi-hour long in-depth analysis of indie games. Thank you.
HOLDUP, ALREADY? Hell yeah, time to binge this masterpiece
i am doing that rn
I'm on my 4th (?) rewatch. No, no, I don't have a life, it's okay for you to notice that. 😊
the whiplash i felt when they said "i was crocheting, i don't have time for videogames!" in a joking manner i had to look up confused at the screen away from my crochet in my hands
Part 1? What a cockroach tease. Looking forward to more content from my favorite videogame story detective on UA-cam. :)
Also: your interest in card games really shined through, and you came off so genuinely excited talking about these things had me smiling along.
Holy moly! Thank you! I'm a very casual card guy, I can't claim any level of expertise just the basics. I'm glad you enjoyed!
I just found you through a Who's Lila rabbit hole (great video by the way) and now THIS? Man. I am beyond excited. Thank you for the content!
This is such an ambitious project and I've been so excited to see the result! Super happy to go into this video with the extra context from your hex and pony island breakdowns :D
Just a minute in and I can tell that this is going to be a blast.
I just want to give you kudos for your writing and editing. I love feeling like we are solving the mystery together. I'm so looking forward to future videos!
"after covering pony Island and the hex we're as ready as we'll ever be"
Well I guess I have homework. BRB
I'm back
So glad this is out!
Sometimes the legit reason I return to a project is "The protagonist showed up in my dreams and shoved me off a cliff so clearly they're feeling neglected.' 😂
so hyped for this new masterpiece. I already know it's about to be a "keep this in mind" marathon.
I also really enjoy your use of skits to take a break and reflect on certain concepts. Framing it as a dialogue does wonders for my understanding.
Found this channel through the pony island video, rewatched the hex video about 6 times already, and when i went to watch the rest of this channel's videos i saw that the channel is actually very new. I really enjoy your content floppy man!
Are there actually people who skip the skits? If so, why? I love them so much, they add so much detail and depth to the video.
I love the FPCU (Flaw Peacock Cinematic Universe)
amazing video as always
this video started playing on my autoplay while i was sleeping and i woke up while u were explaining the value/econ of the cards...thought dps stood for damage per sacrifice based on pre-existing knowledge. had a nice laugh upon hearing it meant damage per squirrel, and started the video back from the beginning. solid humor and breakdowns, dude 😂 subbed
Saving this for when I’m back to work in the new year, but thanks so much for the shout out and I’m glad you liked the art I made!
Please never stop making videos. You truly have love for what you do and it shows in every video. Thank you.
Absolutely the best channel i've found this year, the time and effort you put in to these videos really make all the difference!
Saw the length and went "huh, it's much shorter than The Hex". Then I noticed the Act 1.
Yea, turned into a final time of 12 and a half hours
Bro got super floppy with it
Learned a lot of extra things I didn’t know!
I look forward to learning the secrets of the Mullens-verse!
I can’t believe this came out so soon after the last one, I’m so excited!!! I also can’t believe the second pony island was just announced!!!
This is the only long-form UA-cam channel I rewatch videos on
1:43:00 I think maybe Stinkbug is referring to not being able to remember Stoat's name, beyond the first letter.
"It is with heavy heart and heavy balls..." that got me, I can't believe you said that so nonchalantly lmao
Wanted to add one more thing about the title. It also includes the word "crypt," which fits the fact that all of the characters and code are dead in one way or another. By opening the game, you are opening the "crypt" and interacting with the dead. And in the end you close the crypt and allow them to rest
I was surprised to hear you say my name as the peace offering Leshy gives XDDD
you know what? not having finished the video (but knowing a lot of the funny secrets in inscryption), i've only just now realized that the "crypt" part of inscryption is important actually.
also (again, not having finished the video), hope that you also cover "Sacrifices must be made", the... prototype? of inscryption.
There's going to be alot of cool moments even still I'm having epiphanies! Thank you so much for the support!
i’m so happy that u posted this today! i’ve been feeling a bit depressed the past few days, and this will make me feel better for sure :)
Hope you are feeling better.
3:24:19 I think you noticed already but near Magnificus’ body was Grimora’s bony hand
3:29:40
gonna get a lil floppy with it here, but i find something interesting about the safe code, grimmora, and the hopeless soul's password.
2734, the password
273, the safe code
4, a number closely associated with death, grimmora's domain.
not much meaning to it, just a lil somthin-somthin. excellent video as always; i'm going to go play the hell out of kaycee's mod again now.

I know this is old but just want to day congratulations and hope all has been going well!
This was such a good video. Now I gotta play inscryption
my partner really loves inscryption. it's never been something i could really sink my teeth into, not sure why. im a little tipsy and we had to put down a dog i loved today. ive been putting off watching this video until it was the "right time" because i love your content and you can only really watch something this good for the first time once. as dumb as it is, this feels like the right time. i don't know where i was going with this but your videos always make my day better. im glad i saved this one for today
Oh let's fucking go!
I'm ready for another 7 hour long rabbit hole.
So if you have a useless Adder or Long Elk, that'll also work
It's finally here and it's 3 hours long??? Thank you lord for this gift 🙏
I just found this channel, and I’ve been binging this stuff. It’s just so damn good! Something about the way you present everything is incredibly engaging, I cannot get enough of it. I have no clue how the channel only has 52k subscribers, it deserves way more!
EDIT: Will the console ARG of Inscryption also be covered with the main ARG?
Had to tell my mom that my favorite UA-camr was flaw peacock and she took my phone away. I’m a 30 year old man.
found you through Who’s Lila and have been binging all your stuff since, your videos are top quality and full of love for the topics!! insanely excited for the rest of Inscryption :3
(your channel name and theme is absolutely genius too
