I'm a second generation Slovenian living in Canada and these are so spot on! We visit our relatives in Slovenia every couple years. Love it there! Such a beautiful country!
Sister Hallo how are you .I like Slovenia Lernen when you can help me you can my whatsapp number send sms my whatsapp number is 004368864141631 and I am living in Austria never Slovenia city name Eisenkappel Thank you so much
I'm a third generation Slovenian living in Argentina and I agree with all of this! As a kid I was raised following Slovenian culture and when I went there with my classmates I felt like home. I think everything at my house is 90% from Slovenia and every time someone visits me brings 1001 cvet teas, Gorenjkas and rosaries from Brezje 😂 and now that my friends moved there I feel even more connected and can't wait to go back!
@@boyan64 yes, absolutely! We have a very big community here. I went to Slovenian school here in Buenos Aires up until I turned 18 (on Saturdays) and I am a native speaker, I can write too ☺️
im an American just finding out im slovenian/german living in cleveland ohio. looking up documentaries on where ur from is sketch. from what my grandma told me they moved to cleveland from pennsylvania but. i wont know til i meet them and its just nice to know where ur people that look like you come from, thanks for the info!
You last name wouldn't happen to be Semonich or have a Semonich in your family tree? Just discovered I have Slovenian/Austrian German roots as well, living in PA
Just discovered my family roots going about 100 years back to Slovenia, living in Pennsylvania. Love any more information I can get. Also strange coincidence, we have the exact same eyes (same shade of blue with gold in the middle)
Your charm is irresistible!!😁 You look energetic.💪 You have a great smile. I love you!!😘 Someday, I wanna go to Slovenia, beautiful country! Having friends from other cultures makes me more creative. In fresh ways about space and how people create their own world and environment. It is best way to connect between creative thinking and cross-cultural relationships
I’m a Dutchman who moved to the USA 30 years ago. Number 2 sounds very familiar to me. In the USA a two hour drive is nothing. From where I lived in The Netherlands two hours would get me to the other side of the country where people speak a different dialect altogether. I’m planning on retiring in Europe and Slovenia has come on my radar screen a while ago. I love skiing and also visiting the coast so think Slovenia is interesting. Haven’t been there yet but plan on visiting next year.
I liked the thing about slippers. I think Turkish people do it too. We do the same meeting for coffee. I was surprised about the envy thing. It's good that you don't have that habit.
The slipper habit is so rooted in me I can't bring myself to walk inside with my shoes on. Even if I'm told to enter the house with my shoes on here in the UK, I feel so bad, haha!
Thanks for making these videos! My startata lived in Trpčane and my Staramama in Ilirska Bistrica, moved to Australia in 1953, raised my father in rural Australia. My dad met my mum, who’s parents moved to Australia in 1956 from Den Hague and Nijmegen and moved to Melbourne, Australia. I’m 29 now and I’ve never been to Europe!
Your video - London in a day was very helpful for my London visit last month. I will be visiting Zagreb, Ljubljana , Vienna and Bratislava in May & Jun Will be in Ljubljana for 2 days from 3 & 4 Jun. If you have any travelogue for these places please let me have the link.
No wonder..:)We were in the same kingdom till 1918 and we are neighbours. We share the passion about winter sports(sky jumping, alpine skiing..) and also oberkrain music :) I'm not much into it though :)
Strange British habbits? lol! Fly to NYC and Californey, you will witness some real odd balls. If you travel, there are some really nice places to visit in the South, DFW Texas, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennasee, Kentucky, To name a few, Beautiful scenery in the Applalachian mountains, the nicest folks on the plannet as far as im concerned. England is different, I lived in Germany, but nothing beats the South in Merica. Bring your friends for a visit some day, you might find is pleasant.
Mogoc se nam zdi, da je vse tok dalec zato, ker mamo tok slabsi javni prevoz? Ker tu ne mors kr na podzemno skocit pa zvecer nazaj ker je itak sam en vlak na dan 😂
