- Long takeoff with great engine sound! Filmed from the second row aboard Frontier Airlines! Wonderful footage of blue skies and the Great Plains included! Flight 448 to Philadelphia. 10/4/11.

Engine sounds like it throttled up to about 90-95% throttle during takeoff! Epic!

Denver's airport is in the middle of nowhere...
Great video, sound, and channel, as always! We flew out of Denver in November on a United A320 and they used IAE V25XX engines, not nearly as great a sound, but my camera and positioning likely impacted that. I've got the video of that flight uploaded if you'd like to see it!

what engines does delta use on their A320s?
There are many many more airbus with CFM56.
Air Canada, Air France, Easyjet, Philippine Airlines, Cebu Pacific
thought so. what cam do you use? costly? another important question for me. when traveling on an A320, which row is best for capturing sound? Row 5? Row 7? Or Row 1? Correct me if im wrong, but i seemed to notice from your vids that when seated in such a position as shown here, the sound comes out better then sitting on par with the engine or just in front of it. i noticed from the video taking off from oklahoma and landing in chicago (recorded in 480p so dont know if that makes difference).
Sounds like an IAE but looks like a CFM, wich engine was it? if it was CFM he was pushing it to the max! :) Brilliant video...AGAIN! :D
was it your position that enabled you to capture the engine's sound so well? or the camera? ive seen loads of other videos of a320 cfm takeoff, yet none have sounded so good as this. ive seen the video of yours of a frontier landing, and the cfm engine sound came out really well! check out my videos, and the sound barely comes through. is it your camera?
I know it's Denver but that was a loooooong takeoff roll for a 320......
