Bowser beating the ever-loving shit out of Mecha Sonic? Hell yes. Bowser's basically a walking, talking, fire-breathing juggernaut. Mario typically beats him not through strength but through being crafty and clever. His agility works to his favor against Bowser, but more particularly Bowser's penchant for dramatic arenas is a big part of what really lets Mario actually win. Here? Mecha fought him in the middle of a god damn field. Taking him out via environmental hazards is out of the question, and in a straight brawl Bowser is a god damn brick wall. Combine this with Mecha's planet-sized ego and the fact that Bowser almost certainly took him way more seriously than he does Mario, and we have a match hilariously tilted in the king's favor. As another point, I'd like to point everyone to Bowser's Inside Story, where the difference between the Mario brothers and Bowser is much more clearly illustrated; pretty much all of Bowser's numbers are an entire order of magnitude bigger than either brother's. His HP is counted in multiple hundreds, his attacks are at similarly high numbers, and moreover he just generally hits like a freight train. Bowser is very much brute force compared to the brothers' more finesse-oriented approach to combat, and it shows in both of his fights here. And consequently, both of his opponents, who are most used to dealing with quick, not very durable opponents, are caught completely off-guard by it. Really the moral of the story here is don't try beating Bowser in a fistfight. One does not simply out-brute force the Koopa King. You either use the terrain to your advantage or out-strategize him. Otherwise, you're gonna be hurtin'.
@@zackattack2307 If Mecha-Sonic had at least 4 of the Chaos Emeralds, it's possible that the fight with Bowser would have gone the other way. It would be interesting for Mario and Luigi to see Bowser utterly brutalized and bludgeoned to the point that he's practically near the Gates of the Underwhere after fighting a glowing golden Super Mecha-Sonic.
Idk… Mecha had a 1v5 with Team Mario and won. The only reason team Mario almost won was because of the power up he gave sonic. If Mario is so strong why didn’t he just beat Mecha right there and then in the maze pipe fight like he did with Bowser? On top of all that Mario was facing a powered up bowser in ep 1. Id believe that more but this was base form Bowser. Mecha is on another level in Smbz. Hard to believe, if mario is “creative” where was all of that creativity with his fights with mecha?
Even if by no means Bowser would defeat Mecha Sonic, I’d be satisfied if this is how the original SMBZ ended. Kinda gives Bowser that incentive to train like he did in the reboot episode!
I wouldn't say by no means, Bowser has a lot of experience and is just about the most durable character ever. Also Bowser would've defeated them all if Sonic and Shadow didn't accidentaly drop on him.
Mecha sonic would of had some of the chaos emeralds at that point before the fight and would of had more power, plus This is saying either shadow is still chasing after Mecha or was defeated by him, but I'm glade we will never know the true ending.

SSJ4 Gogeta Yea but tanking something and destroying something are two completely different things. Bowser has tanked black holes but he has never shown the power to destroy a star for example. Same goes for Mario but in his case, at least he always has powerups to back him up. But even without powerups or exploiting major weaknesses i still believe Mario could beat Bowser on his own i mean it s almost like a 50/50.
I notice a trend in the comments saying Bowser wouldn't win. I think one thing a lot of people forget is that the only point of reference for Bowser's power in SMBZ is Episodes 1 and 2, and the only reason Bowser lost in those episodes was poor circumstance. Meanwhile in Episode 8, Yoshi, Sonic, and Luigi are left completely incapacitated by Bassilix, who then proceeds to bring Mario the brink of death. Of course the nature of this fight is rather one-sided for a reason, but you still have to consider that someone who likely isn't even on par with the Koopalings was capable of doing this. And if that IS the case, then it really makes you have to think about how strong Bowser has grown since the series' beginning lol.
I mean, I'd argue Basilisk is way ahead of the Koopalings just because of that one skill in which he turns things to stone. Without it, he was actually losing to Mario and only managed to beat him because he used his friend's statues as a weapon, preventing Mario from attacking. Thus, with the skill, he's way ahead of the koopalings. Without it, he's probably not even on par with Mario. So I'd still give it to Mecha Sonic. (still a satisfying fight tho)
I dont really understand why mecha Sonic showed Up because where is Shadow? Mecha Sonic asked him where the Chaos Emeralds are and then Shadow wanted to Fight him. This means Shadow lost against mecha
@@dragonod8890 Mecha Sonic would of had at least 3 of the chaos emeralds at this point if it follows the story, but this also means either shadow was defeated or Mecha was looking for the rest of them here. I'm pretty sure Shadow wouldn't have lost to Mecha at his current state, but we will never know.

So Shadow is probably out searching on his own, and Mecha Sonic probably detected the energy signature of the Doom Kannon, so he came to investigate.
I like the idea of Bowser defeating both Dr. Robotnick (Eggman) and Mecha Sonic. Because of these three possible reasons: 1. Bowser can STILL unleash Mecha Mario regardless of the wreckage of his ship as plan B. 2. Robotnick (hopefully still alive) comes to Mario and his friends and BEGS them to help defeat Bowser and Mecha Mario. In return, he’ll never build Mecha Sonic and/or Mecha Mario ever again (fingers crossed since he hated Sonic for many years). Besides, he might know Mecha Mario’s weakness since he built him in the first place. 3. Mecha Mario betrays Bowser the same way Mecha Sonic betrays Robotnick, steals the remaining 5-6 chaos emeralds for himself, and plans to reformat the entire world including the Mushroom Kingdom from living things and people into metal (uh oh... Ultron reference). It’s up to Mario and his friends to stop Mecha Mario’s Mecha-pacolypse. BONUS: The Wario Bros. steal the chaos emeralds, but got sidetracked by Princess Peach’s charm.😁
Honestly this is my head cannon ending for smbz, this happens, then they find shadow wounded in the dessert, they get sonic and shadow back to normal, (they make amends), they get the last two emeralds. and thats it, happy end. (I have hope that the Reboot will be finished someday.)

I think Bowser could beat Turbo Mecha Sonic in this kind of circumstance: Mecha's ego would have him trying to out-muscle Bowser and Bowser would be fighting full-force to avenge his son (without any chaos emeralds involved Bowser has a chance). But I do think people overestimate Bowser's durability. He nearly died 4 times being crushed by things in Bowser's Inside Story one of which being a train which was a lot smaller than the castles and mountains. He became Dry Bowser in New Super Mario Bros when burned by lava, and lava in general seems to have been a weakness of his. If he's survived his defeats, remember this is the Mario universe we're talking about with magic and 1 ups galore. He's been shown having to be revived by Kamek multiple times and Bowser Jr. revived him in New Super Mario Bros. Mario has survived countless deaths considering 1 ups and he's not as durable as Bowser thinking of it that way. And Bowser also didn't survive a black hole, the reseting universe actually saved him and everyone else. And if Mario could hit him back with a swing in Mario Galaxy, even considering how far he could swing him by the tail, I think Mecha Sonic would be able to hit Bowser much farther back in an actual fight.

If were going to power scale here Mario > bowser Mecha sonic > mario, luigi, sonic, shadow, and yoshi I understand why this was done, omm has whoever is more popular win, but comparing a fan character to mr videogame's nemisis is kinda unfair
Realistically, in the SMBZ universe, Mecha Sonic is deemed the most powerful but I honestly think this battle deserved to be won by Bowser. He almost lost his son so his anger and power was triggered from that. Bowser, like any other character, gets stronger and smarter about his battles so it’s safe to assume he would have made his battles better after losing to mario, plus the circumstances of the first episode of SMBZ making him lose in the first place.
Bowser is the only big and bulky opponent that mecha Sonic has faced in his base form. This dude can take a ton of punishment and both are cocky. But Bowser could punish Mecha Sonic doing unsafe attacks like he did in the fight.
Honestly, I feel that this fight (Bowser vs. Mecha-Sonic) should have been far longer and far more brutal than this mere 1 Minute Melee presentation, and even with Bowser as the winner. I would have loved to have seen a more drawn-out battle between these 2 monsters, with Bowser brought to his absolute limit after finishing off Mecha-Sonic.
For all of you saying bowser shouldn't have won: the main reason mario would beat bowser was because he something in the environment to use, while this battle took place in an open field If both mario and bowser had nothing to use and where on a flat open area, bowser probably would stand a chance
Mario was using fire flower and cape items, plus he got revived by Luigi during the first episode of SMBZ, so even without the steel mushroom Bowser would beat Mario without power-ups.
Three things I like to say about this video: 1. I wish that this video would be episode 10 that picks up from episode 9 after Mario and Luigi’s victory against the Basilisx. 2. I like Sonic and Yoshi free from Basilisx’s stone curse after his defeat by the Mario Bros. 3. Either Mecha Sonic should’ve defeated Bowser and take down the plane that has the remaining 5-6 chaos emeralds with Mario and his friends, or Bowser (after his victory against Mecha Sonic) should’ve gone to the wreckage of his ship to find and operate Mecha Mario as his plan B. I personally enjoyed “Super Mario Bros. Z” very much. I wish I could help make better episodes if I have the Adobe set. All I can do is make 3D characters move in MMD. I think the bowser vs mecha Sonic dogg was accurate. Now think about this for a second, bowser is one of the only big heavy fighters that Mecha has ever fought. The big yellow dude doesn’t count as much since this was him in a more powerful form. Mecha Sonic normally fights people who are strong but not as durable. Sonic and Shadow are both good fighters but they aren’t as physically strong as Mecha Sonic. Shadow has a much better chance at that fight but it’s overall still in Mecha’s favor. Now we have Mario, Luigi, and Yoshi. Yoshi’s moves can easily be used against him. I’m sure Mecha could’ve just torn him up from the inside or rio out his tongue if he felt like it. But if he really was trying then the Mario Bros might have a better shot. Luigi is cowardly but still still strong as fast. But ultimately, his inability to have confidence for fighting will be his downfall. Mario has a very good chance since he has multiple Powerups as well as being very strong. He also has hella reaction time like the other fighters. Mecha Sonic is more durable so he could overpower Mario but that would be difficult. Mario is still a capable fighter and with the right power ups, he could win. Both Mario and Shadow would be the most expected to beat down Mecha Sonic but he’s fought both before and won the exchanges. Bowser is strong, can survive a hella a lot of stuff, and is used to taking on fast, agile fighters. Both are also very cocky. But Mecha did things in this fight that aren’t exactly practical. He took his time to charge his attacks and rushed in head first with his starting punch. Bowser capitalized on this and stopped his punch. This foreshadows how this fit would end. Mecha took time to charge an elbow to the face. But instead of reacting fast enough to follow up when bowser obviously tanked the hit, he just waits. This gets him punished by bowser. He probably should of just grabbed him or have hit him with something other than his own elbow but eh. Mecha Sonic also just tosses chunks of mountain instead of throwing them and then charging with them to fight bowser. This gets him hit with debris and a *Forward Aerial* And finally, bowser’s final part of “not being able to take his own attacks” is pretty valid. The fact that he couldn’t survive that blow shows that if bowser got in one strong hit, it would’ve been over. And even at the start of the fight before the fighting, mentioning how Jr was able to be that Durable only solidies that Bowser’s durability would far surpass his and make mecha’s strikes inferior. So overall, Bowser won because of his clever punishes, patience, his superior strength, and his incredible durability.
Realistically, Mecha Sonic can take his own attacks though. Yoshi spat his missile right back at him, it only bought the team a few seconds to escape from him. Mecha Sonic has also taken the strongest attacks from Mario and Sonic without a scratch. Bowser is durable, but he isn't stronger than Mecha Sonic in smbz
Yeah, since that was Mecha with no Emeralds, Bowser has a high chance of winning. If Mecha had at least 2-3 Emeralds and even 4 for his Semi Super form, Bowser would be dead, period.

@@suckerman7gm Hmmmm. Perhaps. The only thing that I would say against that is 2 feats from his base form. It's actually in the same episode. The first is when he was able to plow through the Koopa Bros chaos emerald attack which previosuly had knocked out Mario, Luigi, Sonic, and even Shadow in one hit. And Mecha plowed through it like it was nothing. The other time was when The Axem rangers used their warship laser. the attack previously had blown up like 3 mountains and Mecha Sonic again plowed through it as if it was a laser light. Bowser has NEVER shown any feats to that extent. That's why I say Mecha Sonic still beats him even if he improved.
Here's how I see it.. Mario defeats bowser. Which means Mario> Bowser. Mario+Sonic> Bowser Mecha Sonic> Mario AND Sonic But....Bowser>Mecha Sonic becaaauuussee.......reasons
Fighting isn't really summarized in power levels, it's much more complicated than that. There are many comments on this video that explain how factors like the enviroment, strategy, fighting style and attitude towards the fight play a role into it.
Say what you want but besides losing to mario in dumb ways because of himself or dumb magic, Bowser rarely takes Ls he may look and act dumb, but he is cunning strong and doesnt have a low pain level he gets strength from pain like a goku, so honestly he can beat anyone and i wouldnt doubt how it happened and with Kammy or a magi koopa he damn near is unstoppable unless peach makes a wish 🤷🏿♂️ and hes a single father who just saw his true kid beat, ever heard of parent strength, in the bag anytime his som is involved

While I would like to agree with you, I was the first person to actually view his first SMBZ creation. Therefore when the change occurred I welcomed it with open arms, but what we got had to be shoved away until someone took over and made it the way it's supposed to be.

I'd accept this as the cannon ending to the original SMBZ. After seeing the 2nd episode of the reboot though... Metallix would curbstomp Bowser lol.

Honestly this is my head cannon ending for smbz, this happens, then they find shadow wounded in the dessert, they get sonic and shadow back to normal, (they make amends), they get the last two emeralds. and thats it, happy end. (I have hope that the Reboot will be finished someday.)

I think Bowser could beat Turbo Mecha Sonic in this kind of circumstance: Mecha's ego would have him trying to out-muscle Bowser and Bowser would be fighting full-force to avenge his son (without any chaos emeralds involved Bowser has a chance). But I do think people overestimate Bowser's durability. He nearly died 4 times being crushed by things in Bowser's Inside Story one of which being a train which was a lot smaller than the castles and mountains. He became Dry Bowser in New Super Mario Bros when burned by lava, and lava in general seems to have been a weakness of his. If he's survived his defeats, remember this is the Mario universe we're talking about with magic and 1 ups galore. He's been shown having to be revived by Kamek multiple times and Bowser Jr. revived him in New Super Mario Bros. Mario has survived countless deaths considering 1 ups and he's not as durable as Bowser thinking of it that way. And Bowser also didn't survive a black hole, the reseting universe actually saved him and everyone else. And if Mario could hit him back with a swing in Mario Galaxy, even considering how far he could swing him by the tail, I think Mecha Sonic would be able to hit Bowser much farther back in an actual fight.
great video, but based on the source material, there is no reason Bowser would beat Mecha Sonic.. Mecha Sonic beat the entire team of heroes, and Boswer couldn't beat just Mario...

SMBZ: Episode Bowser?
Realistically, in the SMBZ universe, Mecha Sonic is deemed the most powerful but I honestly think this battle deserved to be won by Bowser. He almost lost his son so his anger and power was triggered from that. Bowser, like any other character, gets stronger and smarter about his battles so it’s safe to assume he would have made his battles better after losing to mario, plus the circumstances of the first episode of SMBZ making him lose in the first place.
Bowser is the only big and bulky opponent that mecha Sonic has faced in his base form.
This dude can take a ton of punishment and both are cocky. But Bowser could punish Mecha Sonic doing unsafe attacks like he did in the fight.
Honestly, I feel that this fight (Bowser vs. Mecha-Sonic) should have been far longer and far more brutal than this mere 1 Minute Melee presentation, and even with Bowser as the winner. I would have loved to have seen a more drawn-out battle between these 2 monsters, with Bowser brought to his absolute limit after finishing off Mecha-Sonic.
Well, after years, I'll take this ending.

For all of you saying bowser shouldn't have won: the main reason mario would beat bowser was because he something in the environment to use, while this battle took place in an open field
If both mario and bowser had nothing to use and where on a flat open area, bowser probably would stand a chance
Plus you have to remember that Bowser would've actually beaten Mario if Sonic and Shadow hadn't intervened

Mario was using fire flower and cape items, plus he got revived by Luigi during the first episode of SMBZ, so even without the steel mushroom Bowser would beat Mario without power-ups.
Three things I like to say about this video:
1. I wish that this video would be episode 10 that picks up from episode 9 after Mario and Luigi’s victory against the Basilisx.
2. I like Sonic and Yoshi free from Basilisx’s stone curse after his defeat by the Mario Bros.
3. Either Mecha Sonic should’ve defeated Bowser and take down the plane that has the remaining 5-6 chaos emeralds with Mario and his friends, or Bowser (after his victory against Mecha Sonic) should’ve gone to the wreckage of his ship to find and operate Mecha Mario as his plan B.
I personally enjoyed “Super Mario Bros. Z” very much. I wish I could help make better episodes if I have the Adobe set. All I can do is make 3D characters move in MMD. Oh well.😔

Bowser found a way to dismantle Mecha Sonic. But that cost Sonic his "one" chance to have all of his Mobian friends restored!!!
I think the bowser vs mecha Sonic dogg was accurate.
Now think about this for a second, bowser is one of the only big heavy fighters that Mecha has ever fought. The big yellow dude doesn’t count as much since this was him in a more powerful form.
Mecha Sonic normally fights people who are strong but not as durable. Sonic and Shadow are both good fighters but they aren’t as physically strong as Mecha Sonic. Shadow has a much better chance at that fight but it’s overall still in Mecha’s favor.
Now we have Mario, Luigi, and Yoshi. Yoshi’s moves can easily be used against him. I’m sure Mecha could’ve just torn him up from the inside or rio out his tongue if he felt like it. But if he really was trying then the Mario Bros might have a better shot.
Luigi is cowardly but still still strong as fast. But ultimately, his inability to have confidence for fighting will be his downfall.
Mario has a very good chance since he has multiple Powerups as well as being very strong. He also has hella reaction time like the other fighters. Mecha Sonic is more durable so he could overpower Mario but that would be difficult. Mario is still a capable fighter and with the right power ups, he could win.
Both Mario and Shadow would be the most expected to beat down Mecha Sonic but he’s fought both before and won the exchanges.
Bowser is strong, can survive a hella a lot of stuff, and is used to taking on fast, agile fighters.
Both are also very cocky. But Mecha did things in this fight that aren’t exactly practical. He took his time to charge his attacks and rushed in head first with his starting punch. Bowser capitalized on this and stopped his punch. This foreshadows how this fit would end. Mecha took time to charge an elbow to the face. But instead of reacting fast enough to follow up when bowser obviously tanked the hit, he just waits. This gets him punished by bowser. He probably should of just grabbed him or have hit him with something other than his own elbow but eh.
Mecha Sonic also just tosses chunks of mountain instead of throwing them and then charging with them to fight bowser. This gets him hit with debris and a *Forward Aerial*
And finally, bowser’s final part of “not being able to take his own attacks” is pretty valid. The fact that he couldn’t survive that blow shows that if bowser got in one strong hit, it would’ve been over.
And even at the start of the fight before the fighting, mentioning how Jr was able to be that Durable only solidies that Bowser’s durability would far surpass his and make mecha’s strikes inferior.
So overall, Bowser won because of his clever punishes, patience, his superior strength, and his incredible durability.
Realistically, Mecha Sonic can take his own attacks though. Yoshi spat his missile right back at him, it only bought the team a few seconds to escape from him. Mecha Sonic has also taken the strongest attacks from Mario and Sonic without a scratch. Bowser is durable, but he isn't stronger than Mecha Sonic in smbz

Yeah, since that was Mecha with no Emeralds, Bowser has a high chance of winning. If Mecha had at least 2-3 Emeralds and even 4 for his Semi Super form, Bowser would be dead, period.

@@suckerman7gm Hmmmm. Perhaps. The only thing that I would say against that is 2 feats from his base form. It's actually in the same episode. The first is when he was able to plow through the Koopa Bros chaos emerald attack which previosuly had knocked out Mario, Luigi, Sonic, and even Shadow in one hit. And Mecha plowed through it like it was nothing. The other time was when The Axem rangers used their warship laser. the attack previously had blown up like 3 mountains and Mecha Sonic again plowed through it as if it was a laser light. Bowser has NEVER shown any feats to that extent. That's why I say Mecha Sonic still beats him even if he improved.

Fighting isn't really summarized in power levels, it's much more complicated than that. There are many comments on this video that explain how factors like the enviroment, strategy, fighting style and attitude towards the fight play a role into it.
Say what you want but besides losing to mario in dumb ways because of himself or dumb magic, Bowser rarely takes Ls he may look and act dumb, but he is cunning strong and doesnt have a low pain level he gets strength from pain like a goku, so honestly he can beat anyone and i wouldnt doubt how it happened and with Kammy or a magi koopa he damn near is unstoppable unless peach makes a wish 🤷🏿♂️

While I would like to agree with you, I was the first person to actually view his first SMBZ creation. Therefore when the change occurred I welcomed it with open arms, but what we got had to be shoved away until someone took over and made it the way it's supposed to be.
