its just grifting, prisoners stab people to death with a sharpened piece of metal off a light fixture everyday. using the word "blade" instead of knife is cringey.

I use a Nicholson Bastard file sharpened and cryo treated by an old timer called the “Iceman”. It’s wrapped with silicon plumbers tape for a grip, carried in an old Camco leather scout sheath that was my grandfather’s. It does the job - cost $20.

Yessir! A trainer is crucial for self defense blades. I carry the SOC-P Dagger mainly because it came with a trainer. Trainers can be a less lethal defense tool as well!

@@Mattwolek Yessir! People that don't train it I've seen hurt themselves because they are holding and striking with it wrong... I used it several times not as a lethal strike, but as a deterrent... So an aggressor is on me quick and to get them off I just jabbed at soft spots. so I can draw a sidearm, Worked every time.

Could I hammer it into a tree, then use it as a step? Would it bend with 200lbs?

When I’m at work, I have a Hogue First Responder in my pocket; I use it in a utility capacity only. Fixed blades are much better for self defense than a folder. One time this crazy lady came at me with a Katana blade, and I didn’t go for a knife; I went for a my pistol in my holster. I think blades are important, but they’re not really effective for self defense.

This is not a fair or responsible assessment. Firstly, you never take a knife to a gun fight. Equally you NEVER pull any knife on a sword wielding attacker. That would be plain and simply stupid. From personal experience, most dangerous situations take place really close up and personal. The first weapon you pull is your brain. Engage your mind, remember your training, read the situation, remember all war is deception and surprise, then engage with a ferocity that your enemy cannot predict or withstand. DO NOT DISENGAGE UNTIL YOUR ATTACKER IS COMPLETELY OVERWHELMED, WHATEVER THAT IS.

Fixed blade=correct . Practice=correct. No moving parts. If you are getting attacked look out for his partners. And people need to control their dogs. I am not afraid of any dog w/the knife I carry on bicycle.Winkler/Williams blade design HZO 02 6.5 in. Brown burlap micarta 1 of 10 made. I can't tell stories on here. Pedaling since 95.

Your belts are amazing but as a knife practitioner and someone who's been training with blades for over 20 years Your price point on your blades are way overpriced there's other companies like TKell knives that offer the same exact style with the same exact steel for half the cost so can you explain to me what makes your knives and your craftsmanship so much better to be charging over $500 for a knife that you're going to use for self-defense at that price point not too many people are going to buy that especially for self-defense and EDC but they do look very nice but $500 nice not sure sure about that when you got other companies that are just as good selling their blades at half the cost 🤷🏾
