I think the big problem with this kind of thing, is there are no real clear rules/guidelines. All this stuff is happening now. The mistakes someone can learn from are currently happening. I’m also feminine of center gender and I identify as a mother of 3 trans children but don’t have any kids. My trans kids all have unique pronouns they use and I’m so proud of them and so blessed to be a diversity officer with such diverse children.
In the canadian military, they have separate recruiting qualifications for women and minoritys so it's easier for them to get in because of a diversity quota.
Lot of places now have "Diversity Champions" as an executive/partner level title. Raking in the cash to walk around and say "you don't have enough *insert non-white/non-Indian/non-male person* so go find one."

Ok, I'm not the only one wondering that.
There might be (read: shouldn't at all be) a subtlety in how the trans man defines gender-queer; but masculine-of-center should default to him not a woman. This really says a lot about how that school seems fucked/bizarre; usually you divide genders for schools up during youth, if anywhere, not as adults... seems depriving. The individual seems bordering on crazy, too, thinking he would be accepted. Maybe he wanted to see what would happen out of curiosity. I'm all for not being regimented, but there has to be a limit to one's own psychology getting checked out.
