  • The Jetson ONE flies effortlessly over our 800-meter airstrip at our new R&D and limited production facility in Arezzo, Tuscany. The airport will also be home to a client experience centre and pilot school. We will welcome guests with an assigned chassis number to test-fly the Jetson ONE in April 2023.
We are proud and humbled to say our great news continues. We have secured a +$8M investment and look to secure $10M in the coming month.
The lead investors in the $10M seed round are global tech icons. Luca Spada, Nik Robinson and Rikard Steiber. They all share a passion for flight and are pioneers in their respective fields.
With this investment, we will continue to invest in R&D, recruitment and mass production and will be opening operations in the US in 2023. Jetson ONE is the perfect EVTOL for the US market and is built to comply with existing FAA regulations.
Please share and subscribe. With your support the future of personal aviation begins now!

Unless you have flown a Harrier or F/A-18E, F-16, A-10 or SR-71 you are setting your bucket list pretty low. But to each their own.
My bet is this: If there was an A-10 fully fueled on the ramp and this multirotor on the ramp and you were cleared through and into a MOA, low level route or gun range outside of Tuscon(Davis Mothan AFB), my bet is, unless one flew attack/CAS fighter-bombers, almost every swinging dick that still has some lead in their pencil would jump into the Warthog.
Now maybe you have flown fast-movers or the like and this may be a bucket list deal.

Its a great toy that I'd definitely fly. The problem is that companies like this think they are trying to solve an urban flying transport system problem. Thats misguided because product liability, airspace constraints, tricky weather conditions and the fundamental problem of battery energy density. Batteries will never suddenly get 10x capacity and flying with rotors is very inefficient if you have a wing its 3x more efficient but even then its not viable. So I'd concentrate on making it an extreme sport toy first and then go from there.

For example, if you tried your hardest to fly into a tree, the terrain warning system would not allow you to do so. This looks awesome. Also looks like a scaled up version of a toy drone. Same physics, mechanics... Surprised it's taking this long to bring it to market. But looking forward to it.

You can see it's suffering from square-cube revenge vs the smaller models.

lots of people wanted to make them but most of them used math and decided not to bother. there is a reason nobody including this company has shown one fly for two minutes straight with a human rider. it can't hold much battery weight and it can't draw so much power so fast without dropping voltage. its not possible to do what they claim. under 2 minutes max flight time and creative editing

Celebrate with me, Mr Richard has done a wonderful job in my life. I have received my payment this evening. His company is so good for investment, i don't even care much about bullish or bearish market anymore because Richard got me cover as I am comfortably making 1.5B T C monthly...

If there's one thing I would say that is needed, if only for the general public's peace-of-mind, it is light-weight (perforated?) propeller guards of some kind. They would protect against accidental damage to the propellers on landing as well as add an obvious safety margin for the pilot. I'd love to fly this one day soon!

I’m in the us, would I need a license to fly one or is it like the paramotors and don’t need any license?

If a drone the size of a football needs a license in today's world I will assume that this will certainly need one.

@EVOVIISWE If it stays that way after these become commercially available I will be very surprised. I hope I’m wrong though.
