I am continually amazed that people will spend this amount to live in London when the same amount could get you a fabulous estate elsewhere! Yes, the property is well done however given ULEZ and living cheek by jowl with neighbours, I personally think it is madness!
@naraithsil, i was thinking the same thing. Imagine what you could buy in the U.S. for this amount and acres of beautifully landscaped grass with 3 or 4 garages. i don't think the Brits are big on landscaping. i think they are happy with terraces. The homes are right on top of each other. i have seen some homes though where they are not on top of each other. Imagine if you had 2 big German Shepherds and when they start to bark because they hear or see something, the neighbors being so close together are not going to like the barking. But if you had 2 0r 3 acres of land surrounding your home, they are not going to be bothered by the barking as much!
If you check the map, there’s a really nice green space just steps away with plenty of grass… and you don’t have to mow it which gives you more time to live rather than work.
The interior design of that home was simply amazing. Not a bad place to rest your head at the end of the day. The only thing that stung was the price. Where I'm from (the American Midwest) that price gets you a lot of acres and a house with 3x or 4x more square feet.
Yup, it's how it is. I live in the NYC area and for 1mm (still a lot of money for most) you get a shoebox. Move right across the river from Manhattan and you get a LOT more. It''s the same everywhere.
Outside of the M25 which surrounds London that price will get you plenty of land trust me. Also Knightsbridge is one of the most elite areas of central London therefore the price is to be expected.
Yes! beautiful home with excellent taste, but the rooms were not that big and the yard did not have acres of land to it. Gorgeous home but overpriced for sure!
Love your presentation style, very professional and excellent knowledge. The house is amazing and of course Knightsbridge adds loads of zeros to the price tag but if I spent that amount of money i would be really unimpressed with the lack of privacy from all those other buildings with clear sight lines into almost every room. Love the channel, keep up the great content.
It has been designed bearing in mind the amount of space it has. I can’t help feeling it’s so pokey almost claustrophobic, the ceilings are low I get it maximum usage of space available. The space outside is adorable and very much needed. I love London if I had that kind of money I’d pay a more realistic 18mil….need the money for the country pad!
not even worth a million if u ask me!!! dang... only the top floor bedroom has an acceptable ceiling heigth and even that bedroom is disappointing! I mean look at the depth of that desk 😂 I'm sorry but this is ridiculous
You're a brilliant presenter Toby. You're well-informed and have a relaxed tone throughout. It's not about you as I've seen with other presenters. Beautiful home. Well presented.
Those outdoor spaces are truly stunning, but I personally find the glossy & greige aesthetic throughout the interior to lack coziness and feel a bit too hotel-like.
Stunning property. However for me personally as beautiful as this I prefer open plan living spaces and larger spaces. Sad thing about these older buildings is they don't always offer that.
I like open plan living and larger spaces too. The spaces in the London apartments are too small. I like the Mansions in Surrey, Buckinghamshire, etc because they have the same luxurious interior design as the London properties but they have larger spaces.
I didn’t understand the custom hardware over the fifth bedroom’s sink. I must say, all of this was beautiful. A telly in every shower… wow! Even I’m blown away (and I do consume a lot of telly). The chandelier was so impressive with its length and sparkle that didn’t overwhelm or invade the line of sight. I think it’s good to have subtle elegance here and there. Thank you for the tour Toby!
It's really nice, I think they utilized the space well considering it's under 5,000sqft. Also, in the beginning I said there are 6 bedrooms & I only counted 5. Maybe I missed 1, but there was the staff bedroom, 2 rooms on the second floor, the master bedroom & the room on the top floor. Unless they consider that study area on the 2nd floor a bedroom or 1 of the other rooms that's being used as something else is considered a bedroom. Also u'd think the master would have room for a king sized bed. Don't get me wrong it's really lovely, it just seems a little cramped. Maybe it's just me because I'm claustrophobic & also I'm from U.S. & am used to having more open spaces. It just seems like for 25mil pounds there should be more space
You are right. A 25 million pound property should have more spaces. The London luxury properties always have small spaces but are super expensive. I think it's because it's in London. It's the same in New York City where the bedrooms are small. The property is overpriced for me. It should cost about £10,000,000.
Pretty sure they are counting the study as a bedroom, which is typical in setups like this. I think the study should be separate and not counted in the bedroom count.
if the ceiling is one or 2 feet higher it will create a even better sensation of such is cramp nterior. How do you feel when you sometime need to slight bend you head in such a lavish home?
Beautifully finished and decorated, but all the rooms look really small with rather low ceilings. It also looks very much deprived of natural light. Fabulous postcode but not worth my £25mills (if I ever win the lottery…)
the slope ceiling are the issue. If you want speakers, maybe an AC unit e.g. in the ceiling you loose 15cm more likely 20cm without them the height would be decent.

For £25m, I expected the lower floor to have an entertainment and leisure, steam room, jacuzzi and bar area. Properties of this value I don't think will sell this days, the Russians, Africans, Arabs don't see Europe as a safe place to buy or invest in property.
Don't blame them when it seems the governments of some European countries will just take away your property because they do not like the actions of your country's leader regardless of what you actually even believe yourself.

The ceiling heights are ridiculously low, like walking in an underground parking garage.
Yeah, many details are not really great with this home, at least not 25 Million great.
Yeah but the damily height is 4ft 5 so it's high ceilings for them 😂 I honestly prefer low ceilings but the ground floor looks far too low
Almost claustrophobic it’s so compact

Yes, and so dark too. It has very limited natural light on the lower floors. It would be like living in a burrow.
Horrible

The kitchen has a definite caravan feel!
No matter how beautiful you stage this property, all I think is; No Privacy
If I had this kind of wealth there’s no way I’d be living in London.
As of February 16th, the price has dropped to 21.5 million pounds. Quite a drastic drop from the initial 25 mil.
Is the house still on the market?
It's still not worth 5 million, who'd want it anyway?
