Been watching you and Pete for a while. If I had more than 4k of lawn I would be getting that cart buddy (spray buddy is tempting as well). You professionals always maximize your daylight as these cart buddy videos end in darkness. Love it.
If it comes with cart on pneumatic tires that should be on many peoples wish list! That spray you made is like double dark and a whole lot more! I like. I want.
I have an Ego+ plus since 2019, working flawlessly, one thing i noticed was having a hard time with fungus and weeds when mulching the st Augustine in central fl. I changed to bagging for a year and is better than ever it have been.
Awesome demo dude! I'm trying high volume this season as well. I bought a Tomahawk skid sprayer with 2.2 gal/min output. Teed of the output line to the hose to have a dedicated agitation line. Added a 35 gal Norwesco tank, and a Lesco gun. I believe I've finally tweaked it enough to have it calibrated at 2gal/1k. Also using my Gorilla cart as well. I'm anxious to actually see how it goes. Soil temps getting close for my pre emergent and other stims.
You used a Stick Figure song in something a couple years ago and I asked who that was. You turned me onto SF since then and it's my go-to mowing playlist now.
You will not be disappointed. It's literally a pro spray rig in compact form. Putting it together can be challenging for some people but it's not super difficult.
2 gal/1000sqft is 87gal/acre!!! But you are correct more water is great for coverage especially with the large droplet size. My nemesis all last year and this year is dollarweed!
My neighbors yard is mostly weeds--hairy bittercrest, chamberbitter and poa and everywhere my yard borders theirs its a constant struggle to control it. You're very patient. I usually go out and yank out by hand if I see it 😂
Wait until Creeping Indigo makes it up there. I'm down in Port Charlotte and it show up here last year and I've been fighting it ever since. - Great video, keep them coming!
I need help with Poa Annua. I currently have it in my cool season tall fescue. I have been mixing different herbicides trying to find a combination that will knock it down. I made sure in Feb to put down pre emergent of prodiamine. My spray mix is Sulfentrazone, Ethofumesate, Triclopyr4, Drive XLR8. I have been mixing them and putting it down with a backpack sprayer.
Pre m in feb won’t do any good against poa, as it has already germinated. Forgo over seeding in fall and pre m then. Now you could bag clippings, that will help reduce amount of seed heads. That concoction of herbicides won’t touch the poa. Good luck.
We've all been there. 😂 Nowadays I'll sometimes actually let them grow a short while before cruising around spot spraying. They're easier to see plus other little buggers always show up so I get to kill more weeds per trip around the lawn. There's nothing like spot spraying to learn the characteristics & needs of your lawn.
I have a zoysia lawn and just sprayed recognition and fusillade on it. It totally stopped all growth, and now the zoysia is either dying or going into dormancy, I can't tell which. I used 10 ml fusillade and .9 gr recognition per gallon for a 1000 sqft.
I have a question... We had our side yard graded for drainage towards a retention area, then we had new bahia sod put down. I'm noticing it is full of dollar weed and some other weeds that came from the sod farm. My question is, how long do I have to wait for the sod to establish (was installed 6 weeks ago) before I can treat it with Image? I just want to get rid of as many weeds as soon as I possibly can. Thanks!
Just bought some RGS from LCN to spike my second application of prodiamine with. I was a little overwhelmed with the different types of liquid fertilizer options. Can you point me to a video of where you explain what each one does and the differences between each? Thanks!
I really would love if you come to my place in Minneola to educate me on how to deal with my lawn here in Florida. My main issue is oak saplings from the roots
I've been using Scotts Bonus S here in Clearwater, FL. It's now a "Florida" blend. It doesn't kill weeds anymore. I guess I should have sprayed with atrazine because apparently Scotts doesn't have any in it. Maybe I'll try the Celsius. I'm just not happy with lawn this year, do to the new regulations cast upon us. What the hell are golf courses using? Hmmm?
I usually use "Roudup for Lawns" (not the weed/grass killer!) or Image here in N FL. Both work decently and are inexpensive. I gave up on Atrazine 3 or 4 years ago.
The reason the weeds are curling are because a lot of them are growth regulators. A cool season example is 2,4,d, it literally makes the weed grow uncontrollably until it just dies
Hi Big Al !!! Long time no comment . Life took a bad turn for me . But later this month I will be in Orlando !!! It’s so frustrating I will be so close yet so far from you !!!!! I would have loved to have met you and walked on LCN Hallowed ground . 😔 hope you are well !
I have a bottle of SpectracidePro, most of the directions are for Acres. There is one blurb that says 1.2 oz to 5 gallons per 1500 sq ft. After a bit of cross multiplication, I came up with 24/25oz per 1000 sq ft. Which meant that I put (after rounding) 2 oz in my Field King 2gal sprayer. Did I math correctly?
It comes on wheels - I put mine inside the Gorilla Cart and that is not included. Gorilla Carts are awesome for sure though - rock solid and useful for many things.
unfortunately not these. Pre emergents only prevent some weeds and in FL we have a lot more weed pressure than most places in the US due to all the rain we get
@@TheLawnCareNut No hate, honestly more jealous. lol perks of the business! Thank you for everything you do and sharing your knowledge. Been watching you for the last two years and learned almost all of my lawn knowledge from you. It doesn’t go unappreciated. Love from Wi 👍
I'm not sure what taller strains do well in Florida; but, part of the reason you have issues with weeds, is that your lawn is just too damn short. We mow ours upwards of 6" tall here in the summer, and, rarely have major issues with weeds. They just can't get enough sunlight when the grass is towering over them.
I'll tell u like I tell my wife 3.5 inches is as big as I go!! Also I dnt even know if I've seen a push mower that mowes at 6 inches (not saying they dnt exist)
@@johnjrkean7008 Well, for a couple of years, I had a V21P that would mow at 6". The tractor was a little easier, if not more expensive, to just put bigger tires on.

Please do more videos on the spray buddy! I’m very interested and Pete seems like a great guy to support!

Throw some mulch/topsoil on the bare spots. When the growing season kicks off it will fill in nicely!!!
I'm impressed. No hose kinks. You're a funny guy!
Shots fired at 17:17, as their competitor it was a good chuckle. by chance did you ever have to treat Giest.

Any plans to get the small Prodiamine bottles back in stock and potentially any sale?
I dont think they will be back in stock this season. Our supplier dropped the ball this season. I'm sorry about that
Do you have a suggestion for a way to get rid of violet in a lawn (northeast)? I’ve tried different herbicides but it always comes back.
Speedzone and you want to hit it in the spring for sure before it hardens off for summer

"Hard core enthusiast" - well, it is March Madness season! 😂😆

Poa Annua is the beast I battle every spring. You are running out of time for that Freedom Factory
When are you reviewing the Ego mini-bike? You need one as a pit bike at the race course! 😂
Will Celsius kill Crabgrass, and POA?
yes when its young.

Any one know the brand of hose Alan was using that was connected to his house? That cart buddy is money!
it's a ZeroG here is a video I made about it ua-cam.com/video/VAkD7gVwG2s/v-deo.htmlsi=ttoD8ZsYgqW1TEPk
When the weeds are dead should you pull them out? or just let them be?
just let them breakdown naturally - they will go away as you mow and the sun hits them.
love the adult content!
Image southern weed works well on dog fennel
Nice I love some Stick Figure check out the Elovators if you haven’t already.
What do you think the cart buddy weighs?
with the reel full of hose, 65lbs or so

The real question is can you mix recognition with glyphosate
What kind of blade you mowing with?
the mulching blade that came with the mower. it works great.
The Nut just mixes up $200 worth of chemicals just for fun 😂
