We all focus on how amazingly powerful and clean Tarja's voice always is and her incredible use of lyrics always seem to be something that takes a back-seat to that.....well she's as amazing at word use and creativity in her lyrics as her voice is beautiful to me on this new album and this song deserves that credit most definitely
Too bad most so-called pure metal fans judge her solo work by their notions of how metal music should be musically and lyrically. She has transcended the metal genre since her first solo album.

Fellas this quality is not good, the Tarja Turunen topic account has uploaded them in HQ. They sound totally different. OP put a disclaimer that there is better quality - you are the first result, or reupload in HQ.
cristina sounds so much better here than with the current coil line up.
I hate how Cristina pronounces “raw” like “row” because it’s the album title so I feel like some attention should have gone into pronouncing it correctly
i don't know why but scristina sounds so weak in this song, maybe it's to high for her
Cristina has a powerful voice but she's not a soprano, tarja is a powerful soprano and with her voice she overhangs every other singer, if you listen silent masquerade she overhangs a wonderful Tommy karevik, it's not anybody's fault it's a risk singing with such a great singer as tarja, she is always two steps higher above the others, she's looking for singers with voices that can make a good contrast with her voice but she overhangs everyone except sharon den adel in paradise (what about us) it's still a very good song
I am always hoping for Tarja to do duets with American singers with gospel or soul background. She sings like them in her use of vibrato and melisma, and to sing like she lived it with intense passion live. It would great to see her unleash her vocals, even with Annie Lennox or Joss Stone, even it they are British. Yep. Tarja can be a soul singer if she wants to.
@No one here well of course she overpowers floor, floor is great but she has not the full range vocal of tarja, that I already knew and sharon den adel same thing is a bit lower range compared to tarja but she has an agility voice soprano so she compensate... Or at least that's what I understood but I'm no vocal coach so I'm pretty ignorant about voices and music and wikipedia school doesn't make me an expert in any subject... 😅😜 I was merely expressing a personal opinion... In quite awful english... Mostly... 😣

There are, but they sound similar. Cristina sounds sweeter here than in Lacuna Coil. Probably it's the mixing.
