En serio? Tommy canta sólo 12 segundos el sólo, lo demás es a dos voces con Tarja y en la grabación Tommy casi no se escucha, está a mucho más volumen Tarja. Ah, pero esos 12 segundos de Karevik su voz se escucha hermosa.

Tarja fue quien le dio a Nightwish la posición que alcanzó; su expulsión fue a causa de la envidia de que era dentro de la banda la estrella y mas admirada por su arte y belleza, igual sigue deleitandonos con su estilo y voz variada de matices.
Pero no se puede olvidar que ella tuvo éxito con Nightwish y las canciones que fueron escritas por el creador de la banda.
No creo que ella sería una cantante de metal sí no hubiera estado en Nightwish todos estos años. Posiblemente sería una cantante de ópera, así que Nightwish no sería una grande banda sin Tarja, pero ella tampoco sería una cantante con mucho éxito sin Nightwish.
@@carlosjj662 Ni siquiera los temas de NW que interpreta como solista me conmueven . . .salvo exepciones como por ejemplo Passion and the opera (donde ella viste de azul y violeta) o The phantom of the opera en ACT 1 en Rosario ( argentina)

Es más probable que ella hubiese vivido de su voz , sin Nigthwish, que que Nigthwish hubiesen llegado a algo más que banda del montón , con otra voz . Su voz creo este estilo. Nigthwish quiso renunciar a él cuando la echaron al contratar a Annette y no les ha quedado más remedio que traer a Floor para que cumpliese ese papel. Fue un gran equipo.....para mí Nigthwish ahora suena terrenal, con la voz de Tarja era otra cosa más elevada

En lo personal a mí me pareció aburridisimo el último álbum de Nightwish y no por eso voy a cada vídeo de la banda a criticarlos.

Totalmente de acuerdo. Yo pienso que este álbum de Tarja es Alquimia pura. Viene desde el alma. Va más allá de lo monótono. Y es verdad, el ultimo de Nightwish no fue bueno.

Para saber si un álbum me gusta necesito escucharlo, y me refiero a realmente escucharlo, de lo contrario solo me formaré un prejuicio de ese álbum. A propósito el 'Endless Forma Most Beautiful' me parece a mí, uno de los álbumes más sublimes que he escuchado, son unos músicos realmente fantásticos y Tuomas llegó a la beta de su genio como compositor. This is an epic love journey. I love everything about it but Karevik's voice, it would have been perfect if JP or Valo sang instead but it is not a big deal. The collabs for this album were unnecessary. Anyway, about the song, I love Tim reading Shakespeare in the beginning and closing, the sorceress vocalizations in the middle, the piano, the metallic chest voice... this song is a maelstrom of emotions. I am very intrigued to see it performed live.

Exactly. Karevik is almost as annoying here as the Soilwork whiner is on Dead Promises. Fortunately there is a version of Dead Promises without Strid, wish there also was one of Silent Masquerade without Karevik. And Goodbye Stranger most likely would be better off without Ms Scabbia's contribution as well.

I m pleasantly surprised! This is a million times better sounding than almost all of Nightwish's releases. Furthermore I did not like Nightwish's music when she was there, I ve always felt Nightwish sounded much better without her so I was reluctant to listen to her own band's releases. It's clear she was destined to go her own way. She would not have made such great music had she stayed with Nightwish. I did not think I would be a fan of Symphonic metal. She has just made me one.
Interesting opinion. I can say that she made me a fan of Symphonic metal while in Nightwish but she makes much more interesting music solo.
Tarja changing for better while NW fading away stuck in the past ...

I was expecting a duet like when Tarja was ft In the Within Temptation song paradise. This song is ok. I wanted Tommy to be more involved and be able to hear him more.
Kamelot barely lets their guest singer sing, maybe three lines in the whole song. Tarja was generous. ;p

the one doesn't exclude the other she hasn't signed any exclusive right with tommy which prevent her from singing in a future with roy... Tommy is an amazing singer and so is Roy, there are a lot of great singers she could sing with this time it was Tommy's turn which he deserved maybe more since Roy was out for a long time from the scenes, I don't think there's nothing personal from Tarja against Roy Khan or maybe she did ask him to sing and he was not interested... who knows, in the meantime just enjoy this song 'cause Tommy is really awesome

Lol! Her solo stuff has been weak at best tomas of nightwish is a master musical storyteller and she was able to deliver the music the way it was meant to be ! Without that strong songwriter her stuff is just lax at best ! In the end tomas has floor which she does a fantastic job and poor tarja has these weak writers and no matter how great her voice is the material is just not there! ...by the way i love her voice oceanbourn/ wishmaster are still one of my favs
@@randymoran67 songs in this album can merely call decent. Some are ok songs, like this one and shadow play, some are really boring, like serene and goodbye strangers. I don't understand why she keeps saying this album heavy metal. In fact it sounds like symphonic rock. The singing melodies are lack of creativity which sound like the same. The instrumental of most of the songs are straightforward , predictable and not intriguing. She tried to make them dramatic but she failed(shadow play). Her cover Supremacy is the best one to show her amazing vocal range. The song structure and composing are beyond amazing and of cuz this song can't be written by Tarja.
Creo que algunos siguen nostálgicos con lo que Tarja fue con Nightwish, que reconozco, era fantástica; ahora con su banda es buena, sí, sólo buena, lo cual no basta con los monstruos de banda que existen, incluyendo por supuesto a Nightwish.
Y aun así sigue siendo la más reconocida en el mundo del metal jajaja

Tengo sus 2 primeros CD's, originales claro, un DVD que grabaron en Argentina (malísima calidad, audio e imagen, por cierto [se podría grabar algo mucho mejor con un celular]), otro DVD con el baterista Mike Terrana, toda la discografía de Nightwish y hasta 'rarities' , tuve la fortuna de verla con Nightwish y por supuesto tengo toda la colección de Nightwish. A Tarja le falta un compositor y buenos músicos, la vi en vivo y traía músicos absolutamente mediocres, no sé si para ahorrar o porque no le alcanza para comprender que no puede escatimar en la calidad de los músicos. Por eso, créeme, yo sé de qué hablo. Ah! Se me olvidaba decirte que yo escucho a Nightwish desde 1998, compré calientito el oceanborn, que por cierto, está genial. Saludos.
Sinceramente el ultimo disco de nightwish no es mejor que el disco que sacó Tarja el mismo año (the shadow self)

I didn't like the song. You know why? It really reminds me of the Kamelot style, so no surprise Tommy is featured. I don't say it's bad at any point, and Kamelot is doing a great job. Just not in my taste. Kamelot fans may like it.
Naught Russel You’re are actually super dumb. If you didn’t notice Tarja is a Symphonic Metal God and this song is shocker symphonic metal. Its Tarja taste in it. Not tommy. She wrote this song from a tragedy from a family member of hers. She’s using her element not kamelots. Tarja actually sang this song for herself to sing but. If you heard the solo version of this song that was supposed to be in, in that raw album but she invited tommy to sing because she wanted that extra rawness to the song. It was last minute decision and I loved it very much.
