"Ready" for " RONALDINHO-Football's Greatest Entertainment".
He is retired now and bequeathed his Number 10 shirt to MESSI who replaced him, as a teenager, in Barcelona. The very last clip shows them together. He took a shy and, awkward, young Messt under his wing. Also, just came across "Zlatan Ibrahimovic-Trash Talk" which appears self-explanatory. ENJOY:)

His debut for LA Galaxy was typical Zlatan. When he signed for them, he took out a full page newspaper advert that just said "Los Angeles, You're welcome". Also, Lebron James sent him a Jersey as a welcome and Zlatan signed it and sent it back.

Zlatan is probably the most unique player to ever do it, there's been nobody else like him.
He had a reputation for being overrated in England due to not performing in the Champions League vs English clubs before he scored 4 goals against England in a friendly. The last of those 4 goals was the incredible overhead kick from 30+ yards out which you saw in this video.
His taekwondo style combined with his massive frame made him unstoppable when he was on form. He's scored in each of the last 4 decades and won trophies in Italy, France, Spain, the Netherlands and England! An absolute legend of the game.

    • @DenUitvreter

That was a disgrace, they just didn't know him and judged him on a WC where he played injured. The goal he put in the top corner with his back to goal against italy in Euro 2004 didn't even make it into the goal of the tournament list because it was too brilliant, the English believed it was a lucky.
Euro 2004 was the tournament when also Rooney and Ronaldo burst onto the international scene, all under 20. Maybe it all had to be about Rooney as he was English.

Zlatan is from Rosengård a place in Malmö Sweden famous for its poor living standards. Got the Black belt in Taekwondo. Started playing for Malmö then moved to Ajax, ( the goal where he dribbled past almost the entire team was hes last game for them after getting in a fight with another player in the team, this was hes 2nd goal in the match, when he scored the first no ajax fan celebrated however when he did that 2nd goal they couldent be quite anymore.) Almost the same with the bicycle kick from 30 + meters against England. Was hes 4th goal of the match and before the match english media had been shitting on Zlatan for being a overhyped player. lets just say he likes to shut the critics up.

Another interesting fact. He has scored a goal through his career in every minute of a 90 minute game. That's one goal in the first minute, one goal in the 2nd minute, one goal in the 3rd minute and so on until 90th minute.

Zlatan "Yes, I gave her a signed Zlatan picture"
    😂😂😂😂
Oh and when he signed with Manchester united towards the end of his career.

He played professional football as a striker till he was 41 years old and only retired last season. That's after 25 season when he made his debut back in 1999 at the age of 18 for Malmo FF in Sweden. Zlatan is the true definition of a football player with a real street mentality. He has zero fear and to him every match was basically survival of the fittest because of where he came from, which was a poor, dangerous town in Sweden where you had to be tough and be fearless to survive. That's why he's a taekwondo black belt because he has a real fighter's mentality that madehim so agile and strong and it gave him another thing to do besides just playing football

His parents are Bosnian so you're right about his name, he grew up in a rough neighborhood and had a tough upbringing. He truly is one of the most eccentric and loveable people that make the world interesting to live in. A reaction to his interviews and one liners would be awesome because he often roasts the interviewers or says some pretty wild thing... he can come off as big headed and cocky sometimes but he's just one of those people who likes to say things for entertainment purposes, the world is so much better with Zlatans. Another thing he scored a lot of headers too which there weren't many on there, obviously being 6'5 he's a beast in the air too.

Yeah there are lots of fans that truly don't understand how fast a football is travelling especially when a player shoots for goal and they get angry at goalkeepers being 'too slow' to react

    • @JacoWium
      @JacoWium 27 днів тому

That is so true. From the regular TV camera angle a shot sometimes looks quite slow and one may think, "Even my granny would save that". But if you see the shot from behind the nets in real time, the thought becomes, "These goalkeepers are damn quick, hey!" The same goes for the rest of the game: One can only appreciate how quick those players are when seeing the game in real life. As with tennis: One has to be at a Wimbledon match to get any idea of how fast those balls travel and how quick those top players really are. Because of cameras' wider angles, all seems to happen slower, but that's just an illusion.

Thing I don't like about these kind of compilations is they overcomplicate things. They never show the broadcast angle of the goals at the normal speed which is the best way to watch a goal initially. Cutting between different angles, zooming in and out, speeding it up and down just makes it difficult to tell what's actually going on.

"What a strange angle". This is Zlatan. "Any distance, any angle" and if need be upside down with his back to the goal....

He once called another player the best scorer in the premier league. When asked “even better than you?” He said you don’t compare humans to Lions. Im a Lion! 😂😂

I`m from England We where playing Sweden in a friendly. I put 2 bets on @ 50p each for Zlatan to score first and England to win 4-2 or loose 4-2. He scored from the half way line to make it 4_2 to Sweden. First time I cheered at seeing England loose. I got £ 189

Intresting video to review, but not really of a style I like. I don't follow football, but I know of the player, which says a lot!
For short stories: shameless plug, my friend Julian M Miles does some very good short stories!

Zlatan is one of my favs. Nr1 in my book (taken everything into consideration) is King Eric Cantona. If i had to pick a player in his prime, to take a team to the top, it would be king Eric. Fan:"Isn't it hard on a man, all this pressure and stuff?" The King: "I am not a man. I'm Cantona!" ua-cam.com/video/wsWlVZ7ESWQ/v-deo.html Very good movie with rare interviews and footage: ua-cam.com/video/rkQMUm4Zdso/v-deo.html

10:09 He could be Swedish with Slavic ancestry. Maybe one or both parents are from a Slavic country originally.
