That would probably hold it together physically but it would not be remotely sealed and you would eventually have issues. It may take up to a few months but you would get both moisture and dust building up inside that would cause an issue, most likely being the end of the watch at that point. You should be able to get a pre cut double sided stick on gasket but if you can’t find one you will not mess anything up with the right glue even if you were a bit messy, it won’t cause issues electrically and it’s very easy to clean up.
The back of my mom series 7 cracked. She’s a special ed teacher and needs it everyday, but I can’t afford to pay for it to be fixed. Should I attempt this, or could I mail it and pay you 😅. Also if I do attempt it, where should I look for some of the needed parts
Hey man sorry to hear that, this isn’t as easy as an iPhone battery replacement, looking into the same thing for my series 7 watch since battery capacity is only 83% now
True, I just damaged the screen on my watch😢 This tutorial is pretty bad. You shouldnt slide the pry tool like in this video. Take your time, use heat, alcohol and gently try to pop the screen up from every corner. Such a shame I missed your comment on this video before repair
Where do I find that nice syringe for alcohol? And do they make a higher capacity battery that is compatible?
Thanks!
Hallo 👋 ich habe beim Ausbau des Akkus wohl das Flex-Batteriekabel beschädigt. Lässt sich das Kabel tauschen ohne löten? Gruss
Can you again open the apple watch in future after applying the B7000 glue?
yup, its a hot removing glue so its the same as the one used by apple to glue their screens
Do you think I could buy a back protector and hope it keeps everything together?

good video, thank you, could you tell me what that device that emits hot air is called and if you have the link where they sell it
Any heat gun, or hair dryer
Is it still waterproof?
With the glue he’s using, yes.
Good video, thank you. Is it waterproof?
The iwatch its not that easy to open guy the screen its easy to damage
Nice 👍
Gonna be real useful now that the ban is in place
welched verbot?
@@Mister.LandscapesSp02 sensor ban because of the massivo lawsuit
yyyyyeaaahhh, I'm gonna go ahead and not try this, mmmm-kay
This is terribly hard to do yourself, you will 100 percent damage the screen just from separating it from the case. Highly don’t suggest this.
Looks easy to me, he did it 🤷🏽♂️

Was that a brand new battery? Replacement battery showed 95% battery health! YIKES!!!
He put the same battery back in obviously lol. It was just for show how to do it.
I bet replacement battery won't have option to check health and will probably display a non genuine part warning
@@domino5711 It won't. Only with an Apple made battery installed by Apple themselves.
