I do not recommend buying a cellular version. Anyway you have your iPhone connected to the internet. When you leave your phone at home you dont want to be bothered by phone calls or notifications. Music and podcasts can be stored locally. You have to buy an additional cellular plan for the apple watch. Save your money ;)
If you go to settings and then scroll down to accessibility you can find a hand gesture feature (double tap)

Series 7 is still a pretty fresh Apple Watch. I sold mine for 200 EUR. It will get updates up to 2025-2027 I suppose.

For a first Apple Watch series 7 is great. If you like it you can get Ultra 3 in September 👍

If the battery is new - 1.5 days. If the battery is heavily used 1 day max.

Ya, maybe it just depends on how much you paid for it because you can replace the battery for around hundred dollars
