I bought Distress Crayons three years ago and never used them. Today I said, enough - you are going to do a project with them. So, I came on UA-cam and found this video. I am so excited!!! Thank yoou so much for so many different ways to use them! Limitedless!
I bought a bunch of these. Haven't played yet cause I wasn't sure where to start. So watching several videos to help. Thank you for your help. Hope to play with them tomorrow. Getting some ideas. TY again..
I just got some of these distress crayons and yet I’ve haven’t played with them yet, so I had to find this video and now I’m super excited. I can’t wait to play with them.
Okay just love your products and watch you cuz I learned so much, but today I am kind of glad my sniffer was working because I was watching you and being so intrigued that I almost forgot about my supper on the stove. So much humidity in PA that I get a sinus head cold all the time.
you have the greatest job ever ! :P i have about 50 of these so far and love love love working with them on my wood laser projects...the colours are so beautiful and they blend wonderfully
I must say, that I have Botton some of those crayons because they’re so pretty but I never knew quite what to do with him now I do thank you so much for sharing that video
I’m grateful for this demo. I don’t have any of the sets yet, because I was misinformed and thought that they’d be too similar to oil pastels to captivate my curiosity. I’m glad you’ve set me straight-if you hear a rustling sound, that’s the crayons flying off the shelves and cash flying out of my wallet. 🤟 💸💸💸
Just rec some of my crayons love them , have to watch video first to understand the Crayon first . I Love Love watching u , the way u are with crayon .
What an amazing product! Crayons and inks look like a lot of fun and so versatile. I think a crafter could really get their money’s worth from all the products. Props to you Tim, you doing a great job presenting your products and seem genuinely enthusiastic about them. You have a nice speaking voice, of course very knowledgeable about the product and speed of delivery makes for a pleasant and comprehensive tutorial. I think you’re kind of a big deal, I am a freak about everything your name is on! Regards, keely henson Murrieta CA.
I got a few sets and wish I could get them all. I’m not an artist and have very little experience with inks in any form but these crayons make me feel like I know what I’m doing and I’m an awesome artist, lol. Thanks Tim.
OMG And WOW!! WOW!!!! WOW!!!!! That was so much fun watching your Distress Crayons Creative Process and seeing your amazing visions come together....it was like magic!! Gosh I have your crayons but truly never realized that they could be used in this way.....OMG the look is Spectacular and breathtaking!! YOU SO ROCK!! Joan Smith
Just what I needed to see !!! THANK YOU SO MUCH . I just received both CRAYON markers AND the DISTRESS markers in all the colors. I started collecting your stencils, stamps, inks and whatever else I would need last year... I so INTO this craft and it was so nice to finally see your face. Thank you so much for the simplicity of the video ESPECIALLY NO HORRIBLE, NOISEY, DISTRACTING , "MAKE ME WANT TO SCREAM" music.... so NOT NEEDED. I think your products are of fine quality and the colors are FALALALALA. I AM LOVING IT TIM. :):):)
I agree with Christine’s comment below. U should be teaching. Every time u demo a product I have to get it. U r really a great teacher. I love your products. Probably best out there. Thank u for all u do!
Having attended one of Tim's workshops I can confirm he is an amazing teacher of mixed media - full of knowledge of what will work and why and if not how to make it work the next time! Yes, 'he could sell sand to an Arab' but it goes deeper than that, much, much deeper - he teaches from the heart and at everyone's pace - that's such a talent these days!
Thanks so much for these refresher videos. I have not yet broken into my crayons and have a bunch of oxide inks on the way, so it's time for some fun! You really are amazing Tim and your work brightens my life 😊
Tim I love your products, and I am going to get some of these crayons. I also LOVE your fabrics. They are such high quality and I love the designs. I am making a hexie quilt right now with some of them. I also like your tutorials. You are just a nice, likable guy. Here is one old lady who hopes to see you teach in person some day.
I just started using your distress inks and love them so far, but have never tried using your distress crayons. I will have to try these later when funds are more readily available. Love your products so far.
OMG OMG mr tim holtz, ur the best of the best!, wow those crayons are amazing! gotta get them now, all, and I'm saying ALL tim holtz products are amazing! Thank you so much!
Thank you, Tim. I enjoy your videos and learn a lot by your techniques. I love the smaller sized stencils, but haven’t seen them in “PV”stores. I am collecting a nice collection of your products.
I wish I had never seen this video, every time I watch one of your videos.....I want! Oh yes I so want these distress crayons, only thing is I’d have to sell my soul to get them, oh well there is always my birthday or Christmas, both a while off but so worth waiting for!
@@memekendall3197 No I got money but was ill so couldn’t order anything, got into resin after I was better, but still have money to spend to get them, yay!
Thank you so much, I really really appreciate your time and effort. I have some distress crayons 🖍 and I really really love 💕 the effects you can get with them. xxx Mags
Where do you obtain your stencil? I have gelatos etc and find them hard to use. May look into the distressed crayons. I've never found a good source of stencils....would love to use nonpaper ones that tear easily. Informative video....thanks!
I'm assuming you have to use fixative with these. They seem to be a bit oil based. I haven't played enough with mine yet but my thought is I'll have to seal with a spray to be on the safe side or else it looks like it will just rub off
YAY! This is where you NEED to be Timmy Boyo (a Welsh word for someone you hold in high regard/are very fond of) - on the front-line - teaching and demoing - not hid away in some pokey industrial / science lab! Wondering if 'Scrapbook.com' would take a fifty- something year old woman on for work experience under your tutourage - is that even a word? I've been told to take myself off on an adventure - passport at the ready.......

I love these! My only concern is that water or dampness dissolves the ink. Is there a fixative for these crayons?
I continue to be amazed by Tim's salesmanship!! So good at what he does!!
I've watched this video more than once and I still find it helpful, thanks.
Loved this video. I have had them forever and not used them. With the start of the new year, this video will get me started. Thanks so much.
I bought a bunch of these. Haven't played yet cause I wasn't sure where to start. So watching several videos to help. Thank you for your help. Hope to play with them tomorrow. Getting some ideas. TY again..

Ooh. Never seen the metallic ones before! Nice 🙂
I love all the Distress products! Super fun!
We love them too! :D
It would be great if we could bring the empty crayon tubes back to the craft store for the manufacturer could recycle them. :)
I love to use them as storage for scraps of paper or embelishments.
Or get a refill
Yes to this!!
Or Better Yet We Can Get Refills!
Or get them refilled, since we’ve wasted so much on the baby wipes 😅
Love this guy and ALL his products! Love Mario too!
Thank you so much; for the great tutorial videos and the line itself. I am loving the pigments and how vibrant they are! xxoo

That man is a FREAKING GENIUS...sorry the loudness but it's so true! And in person....so down to earth and humble!

I wish I had never seen this video, every time I watch one of your videos.....I want! Oh yes I so want these distress crayons, only thing is I’d have to sell my soul to get them, oh well there is always my birthday or Christmas, both a while off but so worth waiting for!
Souls are overrated! Just take my money, take my soul, i don't care, just gimme distress crayons ;-)

I feel your pain. I never paid attention to these crayons before, now I want them.
@@memekendall3197 No I got money but was ill so couldn’t order anything, got into resin after I was better, but still have money to spend to get them, yay!
Every holiday all I ask for is art supplies. Love it all!
I purchased some over a yr ago but have not used them. Guess I should get them out and play.
Pat Cyzauskas Me, too. Now I know what to do with them!
Great tips. Thanks
Thanks Tim for sharing yet another one of your amazing art products! Continued success & Hugs!
How long does it take them to complete dry or set on a completed project?
Thank you
Great tips Tim! Knew some from playing but not all! I love your products b/c they’re so stinkin’ versatile!!👍🏻
So inspirational (and most of all, so SIMPLE & FUN)! Btw, I think the metalic crayons can be wonderful as WAX SEAL HIGHLIGHTERS 🤔💭 Aren't they?!
Great tutorial!!! Thank you so much. Wishing you a super week. Hugs Susan
Some good tips here. Thanks!
Thank you so much, I really really appreciate your time and effort. I have some distress crayons 🖍 and I really really love 💕 the effects you can get with them. xxx Mags
will these ever set? thank you
I love this. TFS a video.
hi! wondering if the tag you made would require a sealer on top of the crayon or will it dry? thanks so much!
Thank you. I love them!
Amazing!!
Very cool!

amazing tutorials!
Love this tutorial! Thanks for sharing.
Do they ever dry on a mod podge surface do you have to seal it? And what do you seal it with? Marvelous tutorial.
That's what I would like to know too
I'm assuming you have to use fixative with these. They seem to be a bit oil based. I haven't played enough with mine yet but my thought is I'll have to seal with a spray to be on the safe side or else it looks like it will just rub off
PewPewCat they dry after awhile
If you wanted to seal these would you use collage pauge?
Could you use the crayons on gelly plate?
How excellent can something get? Endless possibilities
It seems so easy ..u are brilliant..just want to ask if we can use these colours on modpodged surface ...like wood ..glass etc ....
Cam we then seal on tip of the crayon surface? I don't want to give someone a messy tag
Love these and now I have to buy them, lol.
Is there any way to seal the design when you have it like you want.
so glad you did this video. I have several sets but just didnt know i could use them like this. YAH
Thank you- love your videos I buy the products and don’t know how to use them correctly.

Hi Tim. I’m so late to the party lol. Once dry, can we stamp on the distress crayons, will black ink show up? Thank you for your wonderful products!
