Good evening everyone! A warm festive welcome back and I hope you’re all having a fab Sunday! I also hope you’ve all had a good week! I’ll join you down in the comments for a wee while xxx
You were so right about that Steak Pie feeding 4. That is a "mountain" of steak for one serving. Very nice. I had a great week and today is going perfectly. I'm glad you are well. If you get out in the wind make sure your ears are covered. Stay warm and well. I gotta go share and cook. Love ya.
Have u any idea how to make kebab meat Cheryl? I don't trust the 'meat' recently in local takeaways and fancy making my own but cannot find any of the kebab meat in any of the Irish supermarkets not even that VivEra stuff I see on the British channels
I love Meals of the week, it’s my inspiration because I hate wracking my brain trying to think of what to make. You always do such practical eatable meals.
Hi Cheryl, today my dog died and I’ve been crying all day. It’s late night now and watched your video. I can’t say I’m cheered up, but your calming voice and lovely meals have at least let me find some comfort. Thank you for your video and I look forward to them every week.
I'm getting ready to make the chicken pasta. I'll be making some Mince with the dumplings later this week. I love the potato & fish cakes. All of your meals look so comforting and cozy. TY. Love ya.
I'm making beef stew & dumplings this week. I got the baby potatoes but I cook them right in the gravy with the beef & carrots. I'm laughing because our corn holders disappear too!
Your page popped up on my feed quite randomly…I then recognised your very familiar accent which was confirmed by the seascape at the end. Now feeling very nostalgic😊! I’ve been away for decades but still make the same sort of meals. Thank you!
I would love to see a video of what you eat for the whole week including breakfast and lunch. It's always nice to see what other people have as it gives other people some other ideas
Monday's cheesy pasta was my favourite this week. Hope you were not too battered with the storm yesterday. Still some folk without power on the north east coast. I have to say if i had to choose i would pick your grocery shop (sorry can't bear the word 'haul') over Meals of the Week but i never want to have to choose! It is lovely to see what you buy and recognise it when it pops up here. A big plus is that over there we often have a real treat when Jasper features!
That all looked very delicious, I have to say when you say Wild Haggis I picture some sort of beast running around, and judging by the label on the Haggis I am not the only one thinking that!
All your meals this week looked so comforting & warming 😊, impossible to pick a favourite Cheryl & your plate presentation is always perfect.👌 Thanks as always for sharing, take care & keep warm. xx 👩🏻🍳👌🍲🥰💖
🤣🤣🤣🤣 “The first and original Hornings Wild Haggis hunters” 3:34 Oh, that made me laugh! There’s a channel on UA-cam that has David Attenborough-style mini documentaries on various aspects of the various varieties of Scottish Haggis (all AI, (natch) but oh, so funny! Cheers, and ATB!
Yes it’s been so cold and is again today..Monday 9th…definitely stew and dumplings weather… Haggis is my favourite….I love it….. Chicken burgers are lovely but make your own beef burgers syn free and delicious….
What a lovely homey warming week! I really do need to find some haggis to try...ate all sorts of offal growing up so think I'd do okay..looks a bit like corn beef hash... Stay warm and have a good week!
@@WhatsForTeadrizzle some hot honey over that chicken. So good! Very popular here in the US to serve that way. And the hot honey is great over pepperoni pizza too! I always keep some on hand.
“We love haggis but it’s quite naughty on the calories…” Wonderfully expressed and gave me a chuckle. The “balls of doom” for brussel sprouts made me loll!! Have a wonderful week in your beautiful, beautiful corner of the world.
I normally don't care for brussel sprouts, but when they are broiled with brown sugar and bacon(I think, my mother made them, lol). I tried them and then had seconds. I don't like them plain. Thank you for all of these helpful ideas for meals.
This all makes me very hungry. I'm jealous that you have cold weather. We don't have it very cold except at some wee hour of the night right now in Arizona.
In my area of the States, butcher shops are hard to find and you almost have to take out a loan to patronize one. Large supermarket chains have put most out of business. I'll go to one for very special occasions only.
Hi Cheryl it’s only me - the nurse has already been in and giving me medication so I’m free for the rest of the evening to watch your meals of the week I will definitely be in contact with you during the week and let you know what’s going on ~ thank you for all your love care and support ~ sending loads of love and hugs as always~ Xxx Xxx
@@WhatsForTeaHaggis is available in the US. They just can’t use certain parts, you can order from Cameron’s British Foods in Florida and they ship via UPS. Haven’t had dumplings for ages.

The problem for the FDA is the lungs in original haggis, if it doesn’t have lungs in it , then it can be sold in the US.
