Good evening everyone! Hope you’re all having a fab Sunday…Welcome or welcome back to my favourite day of the week on the channel….this weeks meals of the week :) I hope you’ve all had a good week! I’ll join you down in the comments for a wee while xxx
Love your holiday intro and the music. Your Christmas dinner in the air fryer last week was very interesting. With the price of groceries these days I think lots of us can take inspiration from it. Hello from Canada!
I swear I can taste those chicken wraps and fresh, warm homemade chips with corn on the cob. My husband and I like to purchase fresh white sweetcorn on the cob (cheap and cheerful and healthy) which is so good you don't even need butter or salt and pepper, and you can zap in the microwave for healthy fast food/snack. Much Love, from the San Francisco coast. Love your channel and miss Scotland.
I do this evey year around this time I buy up a lot of toilet paper and and shelf stable milk and anything that can go in the freezer just to avoid crazy Xmas shoppers thru Dec because that is my Xmas present to myself.
Cheryl, looks lovely 🙂😋 My versions of "Chicken Wraps" , quick and easy, and pittas freeze really well and cabbage lasts for weeks in the fridge: 1. Breaded chicken fillets served in a toasted pitta, with raw sweetheart cabbage, sliced Cornichons, raw onions, chili sauce and mayo (or salad of your choice). 2. Breaded chicken fillets served in a toasted pitta, with bacon on top and melted cheese on top as well. Much ❤
Apparently I haven't been here for a whole year yet, because I don't remember the festive opening. I'll never forget those awesome blue plates though, still got it on my todo list to order some.
Good afternoon, Cheryl. These meals look so yummy. I want to eat it all right now. Hope you have had a good weekend. Looking forward to this weeks recipe. Have a good week.
All looks good! Not sure if I am the only person in the world that can't abide peas / beans being on the same plate as mash. Texture nightmare for me. Also, massive fan of the Tesco skin on fries, the Lidl ones are equally as good too.
Hi cheryl! So happy to see the holiday intro..that burger looks lush..just got back from 6 weeks on your side of the pond..did what I called 'Cheryl shops'..had so much fun! Have to say your sausages are superior to ours..had one chock full of ginger..sounds weird but very delicious....have a good week!
Hello Cheryl! Your meals this week look delicious as always! My all time favorite meal is cheeseburger and fries (or chips for you).. yours looked great. I hope you all have a wonderful week ❤
Youv made me want chicken wraps 😂 ooo and that cheeseburger pasta looks 😋 👌🔥 I do love a good burger too, we had burger last week and it was from a hamper from a local farmer - the burger was best I'd tasted. Thanks for sharing your meals 😋
I usually use the tins of condensed mushroom soup for pasta, will try it with the seasoning mix. Another nice pasta to try is with the spanish chicken tonight sauce.
Hi Cheryl! Question-on the cIhicken wraps, what kind of lettuce did you say you used? The brioche wraps sound really good, I've not seen those before, I'll have to look for them.
Looks delicious as always. My meals were - Monday - Sausage, mash and beans. Tuesday - Tomato soup with ham and cheese toasties. Wednesday - Chicken stew and dumplings. Soda bread on the side. Thursday - Leftover stew. Friday - Fish, chips and mushy peas with curry sauce. Saturday - Baked potato with beans and cheese. Sunday - Roast beef, roast potatoes, Yorkshire pudding, peas, carrots and gravy. Bakewell tart and custard for pudding.
Cheryl is one of the best family cooks on UA-cam and I have tried several of her recipes and they never fail to impress ( if you have ever tried any of Madhur Jaffrey recipes, you will know what I mean )
Good evening Cheryl, - I hope you’re okay and keeping well and that you had a good week - we got medication early tonight so soon as I saw your notification bell flash up I just wanted to say a quick hello ~ The only problem I find is that I wish I live nearer to you and you could do home delivery your food looks so tasty and so delicious ~ the weather down south is awful. We’ve had the temperatures last week. Going down to 3° to 4° went out on Thursday for the day with the psychologist but we came home early as it was bitterly cold - we are being battered by storm at the moment very very windy but very warm - I hope you have a great week - sending loads of love and hugs as always ~ Xxx Xxx
Very stormy here too Louise...windy and cold 🙂 no snow (yet) though! Have a fab week my friend, and thank you as always for stopping by....lovely to hear from you 🥰
Where do you live without independent butchers,as I have about 20 butcher shops with in a few minutes car ride, not including supermarkets with a custom butchery department.😊
@@Paul-gp6ol. We use holders all the time in the US made out of all sorts of things, wood, stainless steel, ceramic, plastic, they never break, keeps the butter, salt, cheese, mayonnaise, whatever you put on corn off your fingers.🌽

Love the snowflake intro. We had 6 inches of snow on the mountains of southwest VA on Thursday.
Oh wowzers!! We haven't had any yet 😶
@WhatsForTea Sean the Sheepman had some, but don't know where he is. North of Perth. And the West of Ireland as well

Aw thank you Deborah....I missed this morning! I came over around 9:30, but it had ended....I guess it was just a short stream 💙
I love the Christmas start of the video it’s so Christmasy I haven’t seen brioche wraps in our stores yet - but I will watch out
They're nice, just a wee bit sweeter than standard wraps 🙂

We get all of our meat from the local meat locker. This is close to a butcher. Better meat than anywhere else.
I do look forward to these posts each week, everything always looks so tasty. Thank you for sharing

Hi Cheryl, when you roast or air fry your potatoes do you still par boil them as you would with a conventional oven? 🩷
Hi Cheryl. Thanks so. Much for the delish meals. Will you be posting any festive ideas? Thanks Gale. PS made your lentil soup. Absolutely delish🎉
Hi Gale! Yes...just writing down Christmas recipe ideas now. Oh yes, the soup is fab 💓

It all looks delicious! Thanks so much; I really enjoy these Sunday videos. ❤️🌹
Thanks Cheryl ❤
Chicken wraps so yummy they looked amazing 😂😂
Your hamburger meal and steak pie looked especially good to me!
I don't tend to eat/buy burgers very often.
We're the same Robert 🙂
@@WhatsForTea try turkey
1 lb (1/2 kg) ground turkey
1 egg
1 grated carrot
1 grated zucchini
1-2 cloves minced garlic
1 1/2 t ground thyme
😋
@@LindaC616But that is meatloaf, not a burger which should just be 100% meat.
@@JanetBrown-px2jn nope on both counts. Makes 4 burgers, and you get some veggies in. The egg is optional, but she said she wanted more protein.
@@LindaC616 so if you make meatloaf what would you put in it besides vegetables, herbs, and egg?
Thanks Cheryl! :)
I bought we pk of macaroni am going to have that tomorrow try it
Thank you
Those meals are beautiful!
What do you call the basket the chips are in? Does Amazon have?
Wasn't it you who gave the advice to pop mayo on the chips in the air fryer ? If so that was the best thing ever they taste like chippy chips
Miss the independent butchers here in the US.

No soup n rolls this week! 🍲🥖
Does chips look better than any McDonald’s fries I’ve ever eaten in the US!!!
❤
Wow
Please fewer packet sauces and beans!
Well you know that you can buy fresh mince at the butcher’s right And make your own burgers. 🍔. Surprise 🤣
All delicious 🤤🤤🤤
HI Cheryl I've joined your instagram page Keep meaning Eat my Beef Burgers I've got a Freezer full of Food Only me here lol till next week take care x
Aw that's fab...thank you David! 🤩
That corn on the cob holder doesn't look right to me. What if the plastic cracked?
They're quite robust Paul 😄👍
@WhatsForTea I wouldn't chance it, just eat it straight from the cob, hold it at each end all good
We had some for years that never cracked...
@@diannebayley4644 It just doesn't look right to me

It's not even December or Advent.
Not quite 🙂 I was going to leave it till next week....but I was dying to get the festive intro up 😆👍
Mine don't go up until the middle of December and they come down on Jan 6 th,
