How are you guys arguing over a good player complementing another good player? Embiid is playing better but Jokic got a ring so he's saying you're the best player because what Embiid wants is a championship so after a good game by both of them they just showed mutual respect. I don't know how you guys can take this in a negative way. 😂

Media is the one who created the Embiid Jokic beef. Embiid and Jokic have nothing against each other and have complemented each other’s games.
Embiid acknowledged Jokic is the best player because of Jokic’s success in the playoffs and it’s clear there is a lot of admiration between both of them as players. Jokic probably would’ve said that Embiid is the best player in the world. I don’t it’s that deep at all.

@@Brloder Jokic is over the last 3 seasons a back to back MVP and Finals MVP in one of the most dominant playoff runs ever, Iguodala wasn't close to that domination in the regular season and an entire postseason.

I still really don't understand what was soo wrong with Embiid's compliments to Jokic. In past years he said a bunch of times that he was the best player in the world at that moment when he obviously wasn't, many people didn't like that and now when he is a little bit on the ground, when he doesn't fly too much and gices praises to Jokic who is actual champion media members some how are critisizing him again. Yeah, sometimes it's really hard to understand these people.

I don’t get what they’re arguing about. Embiid giving props to a player who he knows can bring it on any given night and is a certified champion is not an issue. He also knows that given both of their talent, it could’ve gone either way but he came out on top this time. If I’m his team mate, I’m not worried about what he said because I know the guy on my team is just as much of a beast and certainly hungrier for a title.
They just gotta find something controversial to speak about.

I thought it was pretty awesome by Embiid. Most people in his place would feel pressure to justify last years MVP vote. I think this enhances the 76ers long term chances because Embiid can play a more team oriented game if he doesn't pressure himself with the MVP distraction.

Creator of The Wire David Simon, a show frequently considered one of, if not the, greatest shows of all time said that Buffy the Vampire Slayer was actually the best (which, if you've ever watch BtVS, is a very valid argument). If people think BtVS is better they're not going to, as Austin would say, 'use it against him' and it doesn't bolster the argument one way or the other anyway. Get over it. RJ and Austin sound like average NBA players who had to convince themselves they were the greatest to perform even though they weren't.
