    How exhausting was it even filming the 20's version. Also, this was 20's VS 40's. You missed the thirties where you try to do the 20's thing but by Saturday afternoon everyone is hungover and using their wife as an excuse to go home.

    A few friends and me did a guys trip last year. We were all in mid 30's. Only thing changed was that we couldn't hold in a lot of alcohol and we slept early so we could get up soon and go see places and one of the cars was mine so I had to be careful not to have anything spilled in it and also I had packed my diabetes medication and we had an app to split the bills equally and I hated that it was so loud at a club that I had to go to another place and..... • @RyanKaup
      @RyanKaup 3 роки тому +6

      @@cordcd7 That’s how we would typically run it too. Now we usually just setup in a single basement/or level of the house. Most of us are within a 3-4 hour radius so it’s not terribly difficult to get together, but with covid, kids, jobs, etc. it’s gotten more difficult over time. But man, when the stars align and we get a date on the calendar, it’s magic. It’s the best. We usually haven’t seen each other since the year prior but it always feels like just yesterday we spoke to/saw one another.

      The youtube algorithm frequently points me to people doing very dangerous stuff like ski mountaineering. There's this crazy dividing line between 20 year old ski mountaineers and 30 year old ski mountaineers who post videos.
      The 30 year olds start going up the mountain at 4:00 am (they have well planned timetables for safety thing), they get the to the top at 9 am, they have time to dig a pit/assess the conditions, and they ski down before the avalanche risk becomes large due to warming.
      The 20 year olds start going up the mountain at 7:00 am. They get to the top at noon. There is an argument at the top because the snow conditions are seriously deteriorating. One person says they should dig an avalanche pit to figure out if they're going to die. The other person says that he doesn't want to know if he is going to die, he wants to either die or not die, and any further delay would bring more danger. He goes down the slope on skis and immediately triggers a massive slab avalanche, which he somehow avoids falling into. They avoid death by following the avalanche path down to the bottom.

    Turned thirty recently and was together with the boys, a few of us still know how to have fun but most of them seem to have given up. It's really sad, we never see each other and they can't even keep it together for a weekend anymore. I get that hangovers suck more now but one or two years doesn't have to turn you into a frail, old man. That's a mindset and a choice.

Back where I was from everyone in their 30's behaved this way....but then after I moved to California I noticed 60 year old men on skateboards and mohawks. It was a new experience because I was not used to seeing "adults" behave that way. Also, I think single people tend to carry out adolescence and open mindedness more than married people, who become more set in their ways and on a routine.

Such as a Christian and who's family either farmed or did a lot of other growing/raising animals/building things type things ( and not just as a little cute hobby , for best results ). They're familiar with real life, often also babies and kids or at least baby animals & their mamas. It seems normal to them to be mature and responsible and have intelligent conversations and so on.
