That Trump is the real president and the election was stolen, homosexuality is an abomination etc. I went to the Shen Yun ballet here in Barcelona. It was beautiful ballet but packed with propaganda. My (ex)friend spends all her money to flying to NY to listen to the Master. They have a big portrait of the Master in their living room.

During my week long trip in Germany i came across them in Berlin near the Reichstag. They handed me a pamphlet with (graphic) pictures of members that were killed by the Chinese government, and a story about what Falun Gong is, where it started, etc. They seemed like calm and nice people, mostly Chinese and a few European followers were there. I was quite shocked to read about and see photos of people that were tortured to death though...
This reminds me of the early "investigations" that concluded there was no evidence COVID-19 could have come from the lab in the same city that was doing gain of function research.

one thing to note is that you can make an appointment for an organ transplant in china (or atleast you could but if they stopped 2015 maybe not anymore:D) but im honestly suprised they admittet to organ harvesting up until 2015 but they dont do that anymore (yeah right^^) anyway falun gong seems as crazy as the government itself wich doesnt suprise me considering what the population went through over the years
Not sure why you would bother reporting anything the Chinese government says. I don't know about the cult, but I would assume any statement from the Chinese government is false, given their track record.
If you're not willing to consider all perspectives you'll miss out on parts of the story, and potentially be susceptible to lies from an opposing entity. For example Falun Gong isn't exactly publicizing that their people hijacked a TV broadcast in China, since it is a serious crime that makes them look bad, but the Chinese government is more than happy to make that info public. I think that a large part of Falun Gong's strategy is to rely on negative sentiment towards China in the West. They figure they can say anything they want because no one will believe China when they deny it.
I also believe the truth is somewhere in between and more deep. Chinese government does not oppress Tai chi and meditation in general just like cops don't generally harass people who have their things in order and contribute to society. Why form an organization and lore around morning healthy exercises that supposedly help you feel more peaceful. It's strange.
