@Needlecraft I'm behind the theory that Frisk died while attempting to cross the border, hence why no one answers the phone (or Flowey answers it but says nothing) and Flowey's either talking to the player or monologuing to Frisk's body.
Knowing that I've never seen the genocide ending (i'll probably do the run by myself one day, maybe ???), this ending is for my the worst of all the endings i've seen. Seeing Papyrus with this sad face just makes me cry.

In the ending where you SPARE METTATON mettayon says on the phone that she vouldn't find Alphys, he looked everywhere... But shewas gone... That's why people think that Alphys commited suicide. After all the things she did to the amalgamates, AND when Undyne is dead... I think she didn't care anymore, she commited suicide. Probably in her lab, where nobody can find her. God that's sad... :(

He thinks his friends are on vacation. I personally think that that's what Papyrus wants to think. He KNOWS they're dead. But he just wants to believe they're doing well.
Fun fact: When you kill Undyne on a neutral run, this exact OST plays as she is about to die Imagine playing it through the ending, hearing how Papyrus wishes Undyne could send him a post card, and having the OST remind you of how you killed her and how she died… Saying I’m marveled is an understatement. Maybe it’s more accurate to say that I’m terrified

The neutral endings fucking SUCK. You have pacifist, which results in a saccharine-sweet ending for everyone except goat bro. And then in genocide, it's easy (ish) to pretend you are a soulless killer. But the neutral endings, where you only kill a few, or don't befriend anybody...fucking hell. Especially this one. I am dead inside.

Papyrus is probably the second best ending you can get. His human policy is great and he makes improvement and gets sans out of his lazy hole.
