There's something so eerie about the state Alphys is in this Neutral Run. She lost Undyne, Mettaton and Asgore all at once. And normally this, coupled with the Amalgamations, would drive her to a bitter end. And yet the tragedy was too much, it actually pushed her to take action and help everyone with a newfound backbone. The way she's so calm about this predicament, without even a stutter. How she's both thankful of Frisk/the Player for "helping" her take courage... and serene in voicing her desire to kill them... Alphys is an already broken girl who's got nothing left to lose anymore, looking like she's on the verge of completely losing her sanity... The lack of music or sudden imagery makes it even creepier.
Sans' threats is in primal show off, while Alphys just regeat not fighting with you. Best part is that nobody knows her true power and you can only guess all of it.
Maybe frisk was strong enough to cross the barrier even without asgores soul on this run, so they actually get to the overworld and survive and take the call. In the other neutral runs, however, frisk basically doesn’t make it and dies because flowey destroyed asgore’s soul so it goes to voice mail
Best neutral ending it got the character develompment and the raw line "I should kill you if I had the chance" along with Sans's "go to hell" in the leaderless ending.

I think it's better and even more unsettling to have alphys in her normal state. she doesn't have any scary music, dramatic lines, epic pauses or any uniquely spooky expression to go along with what she's saying. her eyes just slightly misaligning makes it clearer than anything how degenerative she's become. she doesn't even stutter once, meaning she's entirely content with wanting to kill you, and that makes it even more chilling to me
Honestly despite literally being a genocide run I think this ending is better than mass murder non-genocide neutral runs. Because in those you just kill people with no remorse *or consequences*. You can spare 1 whimsun and get off scot free killing everyone else. But in this run you faced the consequences all the way up to the hotlands being evacuated and having to beat Undyne the Undying to get there. People feared you, people truly reacted to your murder, and unlike the ending where iirc just everyone felt miserable because so many people were dead but there was no Alphys to take charge, this ending feels like the same loss of hope in the face of death but it was so traumatic an experience it forced people to unite against you. You kind of did Alphys and the underground a favor by commiting to genocide until the last moment instead of dancing around neutrality. Regardless, go to hell

So to get this do you have to kill toriel so she can't be queen, papyrus cuz he's not here, undyne so she cant be queen and her dying would affect alphys, and mettaton cuz him dying would also affect her? Wow at least spider bae lives
you gotta be on the genocide run but you can kill whoever you want as long as you spare at least one monster (doesn't have to be muffet or the rg's) and abort the genocide route you get this ending. I would spare muffet though because muffet's cool.

You must abort it after Undyne the Undying in Hotland which is aborts you from meeting Alphys.

In this ending sans didn’t want to talk to the human, Alphys did. Sans also didn’t care for formalities with this nearly genocidal monster.

no you have to spare the royal guards or muffet to abandon the genocide run, but you can kill everyone else if you want
