I'm 68 now, but in the '70s thru 2007 I owned 3 1967 GP's, we drove them daily, my late wife left me in 2007 and hers has not moved since .

My first car was a 67 Pontiac Parisienne 2 + 2 (Canadian), red with a black vinyl, red interior buckets front and back with a 327 4BBL. I loved that car - waxed the heck out of it (back in the Simonize paste wax days). When I finally put it up for sale it was gone within an hour of the ad being posted. Beautiful big boat that drove like a dream! Thanks for sharing this one (I"m about 3 years late) but it brought back SO many memories!

Beautiful car and beautiful the love you have for it. I always felt in those years of GP’s they were more in the class of Toronado and Riviera but still kind of in a class all it’s own. Not knocking the Olds or the Buick at all but the GP doesn’t take a backseat to either one. Matter of fact when it comes to the interior the GP stands alone. 67’ the only year GP came in a convertible. Never understood the 8 lug nuts what if any advantage over 5 lug nuts.

I've always felt Pontiac had some of the most beautiful body styles.... And this 67 is absolutely outstanding even with the minor paint damage, I'd replace the vinyl and leave it at that....

When i was 18 or 19 back in Ohio, I had a 1968 Grand Prix back in 1978. I paid $600 for it. It was Metal flake blue with a White vinyl top, fender skirts. The interior was pure white. 400, 4brl, auto with posi-traction. The head light were vacuum clamshell type if my memory serves me (probably not). I had a vacuum leak on the left head light. It was a slow leak . by morning it was winking at me. I loved the hell out of that car. i had to sell it for money to travel to Texas to join the military. I haven't been back since. Can't find one to restore. Wish I had that one! It was a boat but a beautiful boat.

Hey man I’m with you on the degreaser pre-soak. I manage a car wash in Palm Beach and I know the difference of spraying some degreaser on the body as pre-soak as opposed to just water. It literally lifts the dirt away and isn’t hurting anything, and it’s how we always do our details. By the way we use that Eagle One wadding polish as well and man I love that stuff, used it on all the chrome on a Harley one time and it worked wonders.

Thank you for showing her some much needed love. I don't remember seeing a Grand Prix in 1967. She is gorgeous! I even have a name for her. It's Garbo Grand Prix. She even has the 8 track with GM's Cross Fire Stereo. She is so sleek and classic just like Greta Garbo. I miss the "personal automobile" that's made for driving in style. She is a true survivor! Garbo survived the 60's! If I had the money...... Thanks for cleaning her up and making her beautiful. My mom has a 66 Catalina 4 door sedan. I took my driving test in that car. I loved the styling cues. I used to dream that the sedan was a Grand Prix. Thanks for making me remember the memories!

THIS car I like very much. The '67 GP with hidden wipers and ventless side glass. What a look back then! Love that car - and the '68... All time favorites are the '69 and '70 however. That was an amazing car in my mind 😊 So basically you "restored" the vehicle to the extent you were able to utilizing strictly "products".... You did a really nice job for what it is AND at some point I time, if you restore the vehicle in the traditional sense I think you've got some great maintenance products! Thanks again for the write-up.

Amazing! I was mesmerized the whole time! In 1970 I had a 1965 Grand Prix with a black interior. I was swooning watching you restore that one. It's amazing that it could look like that without replacing any parts. I would love to see a video on just the engine compartment cleaning. Now, I would also love to know what your services cost for that car. Great Work! Oh yeah! Where are you located in case I find a car like that? I could do a road trip.

67 Pontiacs are so cool, much less a 67 GP !
My family growing up in the 60's and 70's always owned Pontiacs. I grew up in the back of a gold 4 door. My Grandparents had a 67 Executive in the same color blue.
That car was huge...longer than a regular 4 door.
When they were done with both those cars, I asked if I could restore them. I was only 13 years old, but loved cars. Those two cars is where I learned so much about everything automotive!
    Yes...major flashback

What a wonderful old car! Excellent detail and cleaning! In the mid 60's, Pontiac certainly was the winner in the class and style department in Detroit!

We had one of these GP's when I was a senior in high school. It was a light green with black roof and interior. I like driving that big old barge. Would love to have it now.

Sometimes, all one can hope for is detail clean. You went a bit past that. Nice job! My addition would have been to hit the tail pipe tips with SOS pads and to hit the wheel centers with WD 40 to remove he road oil residue. It might be just a southern thing, though...
