It's 2022 and I still think this is one of the best metalcore albums ever made

I only heard about them in 2022 thanks to Spotify randomly making me listen to this album after my playlist ended and wow, Pioneers is the first I've listened and that was the gateway to absolute beauty ! This is one of the best metalcore I've ever heard ! Recounts & Recollections and Travel are easilly my 2nd and 3rd favourites.

@@maxwelld23 Too Bad You're Beautiful is my favorite. They used to play a often in NJ. I've seen them 11 times. The last time i saw them was in Minneapolis, MN. There wasn't a big crowd, 30 people max. i remember making eye contact with with drummer. Lol, it was a awkward but funny moment for the both of us. I still have the hoodie i bought at the show. I'm thinking 17 years ago.

its based on shirley jackson's "the lottery" about a small town which hosts a lottery each year in which a sacrifice is chosen at randomt to appease whoever and ensure good harvests for the next year.
Although "the lottery" is based around June 27th not March 3rd. Im assuming its a sacrifice to ensure productivity levels at the factory stay well through the next year...
Just a guess.
i came up with my own story for it..
it's a dying world and the resources are dwindling every year. some kind of post-apocalyptic thing where the amount of lives that can be sustained is dropping, so they invented a death lottery. this death lottery is held every 3 months, and it's their solution to find the fairest most impartial way to choose who has to die so that the rest may live.
that's the story i made up in my mind ;D

I love the fact that FAtA sounds like no other band out there....unlike some other bands of the sort whom sound the exact same. This band right here knows how to stand out; I could recognize their music anywhere.

From Autumn to Ashes is the singled greatest hardcore band before being a hardcore band was even fucking cool. This is probably the best hardcore song ever made, and sets the bar for all other bands, and they don't fucking touch it.
i like the way they're music is a big mixture of genres... they sound hardcore and metal and screamo and yet it has melody which is a badass combination

I remember seeing these guys a few times. But i have to say the best show i saw was was around 2003 at warped tour. The guy who was only on vocals had left the band and the drummer found someone for the rythym and focused on singing. He killed it. I had never been to a vad FATA show but the last one was by far the best. Rock 'n' roll is the devils music

He left more than a year ago. The drummer Fran Mark became the front man. Jeff Gretz the former drummer from Zao is now FATA'S drummer.

Especially since he is a guitarist by trade. Josh did a hell of a job with FATA and deserves nothing but praise for his work. I wish him all the best, He's a great guy.
