I'm 50 and From Autumn to Ashes is still my favorite band. I'm so glad I got to see them in concert before my MS got bad. This is music not the crap today
49 and whilst not my favorite band; definitely one of the best of their time and the top of their respective sub-genre in my opinion. I know how it is getting up there in age and dealing with issues that weren't there previously as well as other mounting problems. Sadly, it doesn't get easier or even 'more relaxing' as some would think. Hang in there and take care. Best wishes.
This came out in 2003. 3 years before I even found metal music! What a beautiful time to grow up ❤ most kids these days will never experience what we did
15 years ago I had this song on repeat on my MP3-player for months. Can feel the emotions I felt back then, all the events and faces of my old friends and everything. Fucking hell. I'm glad I found stable ground at last. Thanks for keeping this song available.
I randomly stumbled across this song a couple days ago while listening to some metal. The fact this video doesn’t have at least 20 million views shocks me. This band is underrated.
We all need to meet in the middle and agree that although they were post hardcore, many elements of their music, and the things they innovated were then used by metalcore bands, and often the lines between the two genres is a bit blurred. They certainly were an inspiration to many metal core bands that formed in the mid 2000s. I have always found them to be a lot more technical than a lot of the post hardcore bands during that era, with certain sections of their songs sounding more like 90s melodic metal than punk or hardcore. All that matters at the end of the day though, is that they were a fantastic band who's contribution to music will last for decades to come.
listening to this band in 2017 and reading the comments is so amazing... how bands like this Thursday senses fail I set my friends on fire the sleeping fear before the march of flames the kinison etc. make everyone remember their youth... I remember that listening to this bands was the best time of my life... ten years ago!!!
Saw them live once I Wana say 2004 I was very disappointed with the live performance and the show man ship. Don't get me wrong I love Fata and I am from long island so will always be a fan
Im sure after a decade since 2004 they would play alot better. Ive never seen them live so I cant say anything about it other than what Ive seen on UA-cam. But im sure if they all got together now in 2015 they would pull off a fantastic show
J Nicolosi Dude im pretty sure the're playing Amnesia RockFest in June 2015. side note: Last time I went to Amnesia Rockfest; I slept on a a stack of peatmoss (outside a Metro) btw: i was quite intoxicated
I was the perfect age when this stuff came out, 17 going on 18. Metal has changed so much since then for better or for worse, who knows. I will say that nostalgia is strong with this one.
My goodness, I was a senior in high school when FATA released this track. I remember going to hardcore shows in '01-'04 but FATA was always top-3 that shredded. This is crazy nostalgic.
Saw them way back in Houston for a warped tour, Ben was leading the charge. Introduced me to the genre of music, was addicted ever since. Great memories.
Good ol high school days. Randomly asked a kid in my class to let me listen to his ipod. Then landed on Pioneers and was blown away. Since that day, always been a fan. Truly underrated.
I was 9 years old when this song hit me so hard that it introduce me to the "core music" Now Iam 21 years old and still one of my favorites and the first wild song of my life.
For anyone who knows Scott Gross he is an absolute legend of a man, I've had the pleasure of hanging out with him a few times in the studio out here in PA
Freddy Vs. Jason soundtrack was my intro to this metal when I was a young buck jarhead. I’m 43, shot knee and ankles still hitting the mosh pit. Love metal, it’s like therapy!

My goodness, I was a senior in high school when FATA released this track. I remember going to hardcore shows in '01-'04 but FATA was always top-3 that shredded. This is crazy nostalgic.
