- Welcome to another episode of Trailmakers! Today we are doing another fusion themed video. This time is gliders! Fusion is where we take the winning and losing creation, and combine all their parts into a new creation to compete in the next round. Despite having all the same parts to work with, there are unlimited numbers of ways to create a new vehicle out of them.

Trailmakers is about building very awesome vehicles and machines, but you don’t need an engineering degree to get started. The intuitive builder will get you going in no time. Everything you build is made from physical building blocks. Each block has unique features like shape, weight and functionality. They can be broken off, refitted and used to build something new. Individually the blocks are fairly simple, but combined the possibilities are endless.
Expedition Mode is the challenging campaign mode of Trailmakers. You are competing in an off-world rally expedition with only a few building blocks to get you started. You must build, tinker with and rebuild your machine to progress. Journey through a big world, overcome deep gorges, angry wildlife and dangerous weather to progress and find new parts that will juice up your machine. The world in Expedition Mode will test your survival skills and ingenuity.
Sandbox Mode is where you want to head for an unrestricted, sandbox, vehicle-building experience. Here you can build anything you can dream of, and play around with it in the world of Trailmakers. It is a great place to test out crazy machines, and experiment with the physics engine. With tons of different blocks, hinges, thrusters and interactive vehicle parts - the skybox is the limit.
Trailmakers is even more fun if you play it with other people. Build cool vehicles and compete in mini-game modes with your friends or other Trailmakers online. Build a helicopter, send it to your friend, and shoot them out of the sky. Put two seats on a tank, and let your friend control the turret. As we get further in Early Access development Expedition Mode will also be adapted to multiplayer.

Same as last time: who wins and who loses doesn't actually affect the next round's vehicle, appart from the first round
Realized that, too.
The first round determines the parts based as the sum of first and last vehicle of that round.
Every other round is just doubling parts.
Personally I would prefer the evolution with a little more build time.
1-2 min are not enough to try out stuff like active aero.
But would be cool to have a more "advanced" evolution series with longer build times.
Like @Azurium said, it about skill. As we all saw, the results were different even though the pieces were the same.
Yeah I think it'd be cool if you had to fuse your own previous one with the winner's instead of just the worst and the best. Then everyone's first round design choices would carry through and you'd see more diversity in the later rounds.

@@DianaTheLance Agreed, but I think it'd be funnier if they fused their own build with the WORST one, so they'd have to do a lot of brainwork to make something decent. Also, in either of these cases, wouldn't one of them always be fusing his vehicle with a clone of the same vehicle? Not that it wouldn't work anyway, just odd to think about...
Instead of fusing the winner and loser after each round, I think everyone should fuse the winner's vehicle with their own. It would add more diversity in the last rounds, and it would also make more sense with evolution

I saw the title and though: this gonna be a chaos after the first round and was even more happy about the video.
try to combine all of the creations together that well be so messed up!

How about this: fusion, but you only use half of the parts from the winning and losing crafts instead of all of them. If you want, you can add a one-minute "mutation" similar to the evolution series.

there's something very pleasing about having yellow and green on the same creation
I feel like the problem with this one is that past the first point you basically have the same piece for all creation so maybe make it a proportion system with the 1st making x% then the second y% and the third z% of the final product with no indication on what to keep form each, x>y>z

Challenge idea: do a bomber challenge in trailmakers or main assembly where you have to make a plane that drops bombs on a target.

Idea: glider ground race. Make a good glider and race on the ground with it so it might fly away if you take a jump too fast
You should call this series "Fusing Evolution" or "Fuse Evolution" or "Evolution Fusing".
Do an evolving tanks episode. That would be sick
I just binged the entire evolution challenge playlist, and I really want to see you guys do a walker evolution challenge. No engines or thrusters, only movement from pistons or bends.
I come here to say you guys need to redo this challenge with the new update. Gliders are crazy easy now. the distances that could be achieved on this same map would double I bet.

Video idea: fighter plane fusion, the winner gets decided by a dogfight
Pro tip: pitch down and when you have speed pitch up so you can go higher and fly faster even just a little down and when your fast then pull up to gain distance.
You should do another one of this combine evolution races with hypersonic vehicles start with like 50power cores

#Idea You guys should try it instead of like building a part has all three of you build a part of a Mac and try to see if you can combine them together like someone builds like part of a Mac someone bills like the arms or so and you guys try to put it together and see what you make it’s like putting together a potato head
This is just a suggestion but how about a copy race how it works is that the first building time is 3-4 minutes with 1 power core after the race you have use the blocks in your vehicles just copied but instead putting them all in just add a 1 minute timer instead so it doesn’t get too laggy and also the power cores can be exchange for another power cores like 3 bulldog engine for a jet engine oh yeah 100 building block at the start
Make hovercar fusion, boat fusion and like in scrapmechanic horting vehicle and horting "bots" (aka animals with sensors tha detect your vehicle and run away when they see you

fusion but the last chose the veicle he want to keep , 1rs and 2nd have the veicle of others to combine (example kan 1st , kosmo 2nd and scrapman 3rd. scrapman can chose any of the 3 veicule. kosmo have kan and scrapman veicule , kan have kosmo and scrapman veicule to fuse).

would've been nice if only the winner fully paints his vehicle, and the loser one was always multicolored
Maybe you should do something similar to the glider but just a regular car to see who can get the farthest jump

So after the first run it would matter who comes second, so the parts would change.
Maybe you have a rule that you have to delete, let's say 5, parts of your choice on each creation you get to build with. 😄
i think u guys should discard both cockpits and the wheels.
This might be thw only family friendly channel that has 0 problems or controversy. Thats also the reasom why i watch more of your videos than any other channels
Imagine how far they could have gone if they had realized they were putting majority of their lift in the front instead of evening the lift out between the front and back.

How about make a Frankenstein-car evolutionary.
You have to attach it to a seat, then the winner can choose which corner he wants to evolve, basically pick a corner that isn't being evolved.
Only 1 cockpit would be a good idea.
Technically, they could just get the first fused vehicle and double the number of these each tie. The parts will be the same but it will be easier (probably).

Gave up on trying to make a grasper in story mode, now I'm trying to make a glider and I can't figure out how you guys keep the nose of your glider on the ground before take off. Mine is just so light it pops a wheelie before even getting to the ramp.

I watch your videos every day and I just realized I wasn’t subscribed
You talk about momentum, but there is no momentum in gliding. Being heavy just hinders a glider. Gliders are made to be light and kosno's glider proves it. He lost si nuch speed yet he reached as far as scrap man's gluder. Not because it had momentum, but because it was light and being light makes it possible to fly at lower speed. He also had an arrow shaped body because drag affects lighter aircraft more than the heavy ones. That's the minus to being light
