- Welcome to another episode of Trailmakers! A lot of people have been requesting another multi-purpose vehicle race in Trailmakers. We did it once 2 years ago when the game was in a very different state, so now it's time to do an updated version with the newer physics!

Trailmakers is about building very awesome vehicles and machines, but you don’t need an engineering degree to get started. The intuitive builder will get you going in no time. Everything you build is made from physical building blocks. Each block has unique features like shape, weight and functionality. They can be broken off, refitted and used to build something new. Individually the blocks are fairly simple, but combined the possibilities are endless.
Expedition Mode is the challenging campaign mode of Trailmakers. You are competing in an off-world rally expedition with only a few building blocks to get you started. You must build, tinker with and rebuild your machine to progress. Journey through a big world, overcome deep gorges, angry wildlife and dangerous weather to progress and find new parts that will juice up your machine. The world in Expedition Mode will test your survival skills and ingenuity.
Sandbox Mode is where you want to head for an unrestricted, sandbox, vehicle-building experience. Here you can build anything you can dream of, and play around with it in the world of Trailmakers. It is a great place to test out crazy machines, and experiment with the physics engine. With tons of different blocks, hinges, thrusters and interactive vehicle parts - the skybox is the limit.
Trailmakers is even more fun if you play it with other people. Build cool vehicles and compete in mini-game modes with your friends or other Trailmakers online. Build a helicopter, send it to your friend, and shoot them out of the sky. Put two seats on a tank, and let your friend control the turret. As we get further in Early Access development Expedition Mode will also be adapted to multiplayer.

there will be a car, and a helicopter..
the car will be doing the ground mazes and stuff to the helicopter and pass through,
and the helicopter will be flying the car over place it can’t drive...
there also will be a base helicopter to make everyone’s life easier...

Been watching transformers lately, and the 3 in 1 vehicle is called a triple changer
@Josiah Santiago imagine a "multi-changer" with many vehicle parts, like a car, tank, train, helicopter, and etc. They could escape at any situation by scanning the desired vehicle with no scanning limit.

Do another one of these, but with Kan‘s idea with the detachable parts. But the vehicle MUST detach the essential parts for the other types, so i.e. that your boat can’t fly. Also only one seat or you could build 3 vehicles

Next idea. Have vehicles as they go threw the challenge, slowly fall apart. Who can last the longest wins.

scrap man on XGame mode with his builds!
The Double Trouble Challenge: The first round is a regular race with plenty of time to design a vehicle. Then in the rounds after that, two races are randomly selected and you all have two minutes to modify your vehicles to compete in those two races.
This video has inspired me to take on this challenge myself, and buy the game.
HEY SCRAP MAN make a challenge where you add *2* driver seats on a viechle and one makes the viechle go forward and backward the other makes the viechle go left and right....so you need 2 players to drive and get moonbo in and race these viechle
You should have to finish the race to get a point! Great concept, and glad you revisited it. How about combining subs and hover cars for another one?

If you guys want to do some really interesting boat challenges, rather than "boat" challenges, you should check out From the Depths. It's a block based vehicle building game, like Trail Makers, but with a lot more depth. (Also better weapons for your delayed, and not so delayed, annihilation.)
At first, i ignored this video on recommendation because i read it as 6 months ago , then it popped up on my notification 5 minutes later....

Evolution idea: propellor cars. You can only use propellers for thrust. You must use at least two wheels too.

Also triathlon is actually unrelated to the marathon. Their names are similar but the origin is different. Hence triathlon is "thlon" and marathon is "thon".

It would be cool the see an evaluation race but where you make a car then make it fly then make it float, So an evaluation rave where you evolve a car into a plane into a boat then the final race your vehicle will have to do everything in one go.

you can use hoverpadsor other things to not fall to the front or back but the wheel have to be the principal to move
and if it is the evolution race you can put one more wheel to every evolution

Challenge that i made for that im publicly saying.
A water+land+air vehicle but in order to pilot it you have to detach the other two modes in order for it to work.
Detach wings and buoyancy to drive
Detach buoyancy, wheels and engines/propellers to fly
Detach wings, wheels and engines to boat
if it was a triathlon it would have been continous but i still get his point
