I thoroughly enjoyed that Andy, some cracking ridge walking 🏔️ with stunning views 🏔️ the timewarp and transition was spot on, as were the music choices 👌 I can't believe these hills 🏔️ are only 20 minutes from your home 😮 I would love that 🏔️ Top drawer again Andy 👌 atb Brian 👍
Thanks Brian much appreciated bud its a great non technical la'al scramble with some nice grassy bits all with epic views, The time warp and transition I put a bit of effort In that one to hit that music just right haha only another UA-camr would notice that so thanks for that too buddy Have a great weekend take care out there ATVB Andy 😊👍🏻
What a fantastic place to ride penny very seldom I've seen folk on horseback up Hills but I have and it looks so wild and natural it must feel amazing 😊 Thanks as always for watching very much appreciated Andy 👍🏻
@@RockStar67 Back then nowhere was really out of bounds on horseback, used to camp out with horses at the Kirkstile Inn in their field and ride around Crummock and Loweswater and over lower fells. Definitely amazing!
Enjoyed that, Andy. My 68 years of fellwalking as an obsession may have finally come to an end, but living it vicariously through your channel really softens the blow of not being able to get up and about. Thanks, pall.
Thanks buddy very much appreciated I truly appreciate the support from my subscribers but more importantly delighted if people like yourself are getting some pleasure from watching...along with loving the Hills i absolutely love filming and editing the videos ATVB Andy 😊
Thanks for that Andrew, I have often looked over at them fells when I'm driving to Buttermere, Rannerdale etc. Wasn't sure about the parking situation, but you've cleared that up. Cheers Marra.
My favourite part of the Lakes and done all those Fells but always from Braithwaite, which is the easiest drive for me. Absolutely stunning scenery and makes me want to do all those Fells again but on a slightly warmer day, cheers Alan
Mine too Alan I've wandered these Hills so many times I'm loving filming my favourite walks these recorded memories are priceless ain't they Hope your keeping well buddy very much appreciate the support Andy 😊 👍🏻
Another great walk Andrew. If I'm over that way on the motorbike, I often sit on that seat where you started the climb, eat mi bait have a brew and take in the view. I'm like you Ladyside Pike should have been on AW's list! Looked a cracking day, always good to see Criffel. Northwestern Fells are superb, can't beat striding out along the ridges 👌 I've always done your route in reverse, I'll have to give it a go the other way round 🤔 Must have been midweek looked like just the one fellrunner.... bliss. Thanks for sharing marra, ATB Alistair 👍
Thanks for watching and the fantastic feedback Alistair very much appreciated Marra..for Me west as always been best I'm very much at home in these Fells Take care buddy ATVB Andy 😊
Hey Andy, another lovely film. You are so lucky to have those fells on your doorstep, you can tell you love them through your film and I can see why. Apart from the fell runner it looks like you had the whole walk to yourself and on a Sunday too, crazy but very nice I would imagine. Myself and my wife were walking on the fells up near Grasmere on Sunday and it was packed, struggled to park so amazed to see how quiet it was with you. Obviously local knowledge can never be beaten. Really enjoyed it mate. Take care
Thanks as always Steve very much appreciate...yeah these Hills are like old friends Mate this walk at Sunset is just beautiful... I crave new Hills and I'm sure not one for crowds of people so hope to get back into the Scottish Highlands very soon next video coming up in a few days is down in't South East Tarn Hows and Black Fell with Tracey and Billy... Lol... it was a wet one but beautifully calm and misty so hopefully the edit will be a good one... ATVB Andy 😁 👍🏻
Thanks for heads up on Graystones ascent, be heading up there soon.. Ladyside pike is one and from ones I've done I've always though calfhow pike shoulda been a wainwright.. most distinct looking bump on that whole range..
After that steep climb along the wall It's a lovely Ridge bud all the way from Graystones to Lords Seat then back round to Whinlatter Fell (let me know when your doing it if I'm free I may join ya) ...thanks for watching Marra much appreciated 😊 👍🏻
some lovely fells there...like you i never could understand why Wainwright left Ladyside pike off his list...There are several others that also should be on the list..
Thanks for watching bud and aye definitely true the Ol'lad missed one or two Hills off his lists he also picked is own Summit on a few? Whiteside for one Wainwrights Summit isn't the true summit the True Summit is on't Ridge back towards Hopegill Head more or less above Dodd.
Hi Andy, Really enjoying the way you tell a simple story of a hill walk with a few tips and advice thrown in. I was out the same day but over in the East. Really interesting to see the conditions. As I am getting on I am trying to get round the ‘Hewitts’ one last complete time before I bag the smaller summits. Some ideas here for doing these fells. Cheers.
Cheers Ian much appreciated mate and good luck with them Hewitts Whiteside is a great Hill not sure why Wainwright picked the lower Summit on the Crummock Water end as the Summit for his guide and not the Hewitt Summit which is the East and true Summit and obviously higher...lol he must have been having a bad day as he totally forgot Ladyside Pike 😂 ATVB Andy 😁 👍🏻
@@RockStar67 yes I know. That’s why I prefer Hewitts to Wainrights.😂😂Some of his stuff is random and not always a proper summit! Hewitts are objective not subjective. It’s the w/e Andy, have a gud un.
Absolutely I always bag the true Summit for my own personal list regardless of its classification have a great weekend buddy 😊 I've something epic planned for Sunday 👍🏻
Looks a good walk, going to do it tomorrow
Awesome bud have a fantastic day and weekend 😊
Thanks for watching...tek care stay safe ATVB Andy and The ROCK STAR ⭐ 🙏🏻

Lovely video as always. Back when I was a teen, I used to ride horses over those areas, setting off from Hopebeck ... They were the days!

That descent to Dodd looked horrible on the knees!
Thanks for watching buddy much appreciated... and yeah I can confirm its hard on't knees down to Dodd 😂
